thanks for the video maintenance and repair is an important part of every operation so it’s cool to see the trouble shooting and glad you have a guy nearby !
Is it a 500L or 1000L? Glad to see it wasn't to bad to fix! I just priced a Australian made 1000L unit which is $26,000au. A tad out of my price range :) All the best now
OMG! Funny my friend. I run a mushroom farm and I am really allergic to the soy hulls... I suit up in a respirator and full lab clothes to do dry bagging runs. I produce about 300# mushrooms per week
Every time the soy hull is getting handled I leave, until it's had moisture added to it, then I can come back and work with it again. It really is annoying, even a sack that's had soy hull can set me off.
@@OakandSpore I get respiratory problems and crazy itching hives if I am exposed to the soy... I have my business partner load our dry bagger, and I only operate with full HAZ MAT suit.... sucks!
I know who you got this from Tom, we are looking into buying one of the models as our next purchase, after this I'm not so sure. Do you it was the oil level that caused the problem!!!
@@OakandSpore Wow... the chinesium products can be an incredible value but you do indeed have to see them many times as a base to improve upon and clean up. Now that you're past that hurdle I'm happy that you're back into the mix. As a former engineer looking to retire to polyculture farming, I've really enjoyed your smart and innovative building of your farm and sharing your progress. All the Best to you!!!

That was very kind.

@@OakandSpore thanks a bunch
always know your equipment and have back up systems . Great video of mushroom reality life :)
Always!
How dare you use "Cheap" and "Chinese" in the same sentence. 🤣🤣🤣 Glad it was fixable. What percent of the purchase price did the repair cost?
around 7%
How many horsepower is the motor of that? I need to know please. We usually do DIY here in the Philippines
6kw 3ph
How much! Got to be cheaper to make your own?
Not here in NZ....
Top clip, appreciate the insights!
Glad you enjoyed it!

I will make a video of our system. It is similar to yours, but built by hand like yours

Do you it was the oil level that caused the problem!!!
Yeah, no oil when it arrived! Honestly, the quality is very poor, bit it does work.
@@OakandSpore Got to ask Tom, knowing what you know now, would you still buy one!!!

how much did u pay for that machine?
It was about 5k landed.
@@OakandSpore 🙂
you should run a contest if people can correctly answer (how many times you've been screwed over by "made in china products")
They work and they don't work. My farm is 100k cheaper because I've used China. So that's a plus!
That system are called Planetary Grears
Thank you! I didn't know that :D
Actually no, its called a cycloidal drive! Learning even more things :D
@@OakandSpore Sorry made the comment before I actually saw the thing
that was a quick fix... you pay 4000 for a machine that makes like 5000 in a single run lol
Are you willing to PM me? We’re in the process of ordering one from China now.
Sorry Mate. Chinese stuff sucks! American and Japanese were the only way to go.
