- A Tiran, an unknown individual and a criminal, arrives in a middle of a battle between the Authority and Etreans in Upper Erisia. Upon recognizing her and knowing that she is the biggest threat than anyone on the field, the opposing parties made truce and engages with the Tiran.

The fact you can see everyones role, the officers trapping the girl, commanding troops to fire and stall them, while the melee troops would launch in despite knowing they would die, like the authority officer who lost their jaw but keept swinging as soon as he got back his balance, then eventually their teamwork would overpower them, forcing them to fully retreat, meaning that they actually won

I loved every second of this. The visuals to the references (mantras, talents ETC) were amazing to get if you pay attention. Also the background scenery, there was no background character left behind with their animations, that surely took its sweet time. Ok enough glazing, amazing animation, I want to learn animation again after this.

They also used a lot of strategies that real players would use in the game.
Things like killing and using blood scourge on teammates, flame of denial on the verge of death, jumping someone from both sides to chip through their blocks and parries, and generally spamming attacks to overwhelm them.

You can see that the royal guard and the Conel are really strong by seeing that the tiran needs to use a lighting cloak just to keep up with them and regain the upper hand of a fight
And I also love how the royal guard killed their own guards to using them as a heal that show how the royal guard view the normal guard as just a spendable unit
@@yurikim201The royal guard being part of Etrea which do not care what happens to the guards themselves, so long as they get their way, and with what happened to Kennith when he questioned regents power. Then we got the authority which will do anything to get their way except sacrificing their own members

Okay, lets analyze the two sisters.
the one fighting, does not yet have a resonance. Likely due to having not visited the depths. Considering their mastery over three attunements and a heavy weapon (azure flames + surge thunder + frostdraw) they likely HAVE the requirements to get a resonance (bro theyve killed like 50 people just from one fight) and have had their encounter with the spellhardts or whoever was in the hallowtide castle, or it was passed down from a previous ancestor (hippocamial pool or whatev). Their equipment (the cape at least) is related to the authority meaning this isnt their first encounter, and considering the lack of hesitation to kill or even massacre the etreans, i dont think they have positive reputation with either faction. They seem to have some sort of method of communication with their sister without actual contact (whether it be theyre twins or some other magical shit) and besides that, they really like purple. Like their equipment is all dyed purple...

Additionally as i said, they have a resonance meaning they have seen shit GUARANTEED in the depths. Theyve died in the deptbs but saved by it. This could be from the trial or something else strong (i know trial aint strong but lore wise they are and also imagine a first encounter)
Anyways, they seem younger considering how the sister was the one to advise her to not stay, and her way of talking idk and saying sis instead of the name.
Wait as im writing this maybe they were in the depths together and encountered something or in trial together the younger sister was about to die or the other way around and she got resonance and saved both maybe?

the choreography is insane, the way you decided to use the scythe because of the little blade on the other side is genius, the lore of the game you implemented in little details (such as the royal guard using reaper on the other etreans) is also so well-done, if deepwoken ever has cutscenes implemented you NEED to be the animator.

Actual strats real players would use during a gank in Deepwoken.
Blood Scourge on fallen allies, double teaming on both sides, spamming attacks from the back to wear down the opponent.
They got massacred in the end, although they would have ended up technically winning if that GODDAMN TP BELL USER DIDN'T PULL UP OUT OF NOWHERE.

The camera work is insane btw. I would even say it's almost as good as the one in kingsman
OH MY GOD. This is the greatest piece of fanmedia i mightve ever seen. I've seen people mention how good the choreography was, but I haven't seen anyone mention the bit with the royal etrean guard and the authority lieutenant and the way they both had visibly different fighting styles more fitting for their factions, with the lieutenant having a more slow and heavy hitting one and the royal guard more relying on speed. The attention to detail is insane.
(I also LOVE the "two enemies teaming up to overpower a stronger enemy" trope, so i may be a bit biased.)
They used a bunch of strategies actual deepwoken players would use, even the tp bell user at the end is something you'd see in game.
