When Day Meets Night: Solar Eclipse Totality at the ICR Discovery Center

The skies cleared above North Texas on Monday, April 8, for a spectacular view of the 2024 Great American Solar Eclipse. Hundreds of guests joined the Institute for Creation Research to witness this incredible sight at First Baptist Church Forney and the ICR Discovery Center in Dallas, with several others from around the world viewing via ICR’s RUclips livestream. While totality only lasted about four minutes, the day was filled with celebration alongside ICR scientists, Apollo 16 astronaut Gen. Charlie Duke and his wife, Dotty, NASA astronaut Col. Jeff Williams, former NASA engineer Cathryn Sterling, and several astronomy enthusiasts.

Very nice. I would’ve just embarrassed myself with my DSLR camera if I’d have driven the 400 miles to the path of the eclipse and not gotten nearly the quality photos as you folks captured of this amazing, rare event. God bless.

Ur belief in God is valid,,but jesus is a man and can never be a God,stop fooling urself fr Gods sake and worship one God,who is formless without blood relations and there is nothing like the almighty, unimaginable, calling a man God who was born is a big joke nd big blunder in Christian doctrine ,even a child knows God is something unimaginable, so fix ur beliefs otherwise belief in one God is a real thing .😊

@rendezevous9674 Thanks for your self centred bias, even if it is well meaning. God knew that lambs & goats would not be sustainable in modern life- so guess what He did? Came to the earth as a man, and.. you know the rest. Now have you got a comparable manuscript and creation story that has as much biblical archaeology present ?
