Spider-Man 4 has gone through such a conundrum. There's been rumours that Marvel and Sony have been fighting over the plot. The former wanted Spider-Man and Daredevil to team up against Kingpin, who is now Mayor of New York and outlawing vigilantes. The latter wanted it to be another multiverse movie. It seems like Sony has had their way because Spider-Man 4 apparently takes place between Doomsday and Secret Wars. What worries me is that they made this change after it was announced that Robert Downey Jr was back as Doctor Doom. No Way Home was all about Spider-Man being independent of the Avengers and forced to be his own hero. I can already see them making Parker taking on his father figure under a different name be the conflict.
I would swap shang chi and strange. Shang chi have writers working on a script and have a director and the first one came out in sep 2021 so more priority

Armor wars, shang chi 2, and doctor strange 3, huh? If this ends up being true, I'll be looking forward to all 3 of them, as well as most of the ones that have already been announced! I'm mostly excited for shang chi 2 tho, cuz I really enjoyed the first film!
First off the July 24th date in 2026 has been removeed, that’s confirmed. Supposedly the time frame of July 2026 will be used for spider man 4. Second, Blade for the most part seems to cancelled or shelved due to bob iger not mentioning it in a investors call. Third and this my best assumption marvel has said they’re scaling back on their plans for their project for them to serve the overall narratives they want to tell and for them to genuinely be good movies. So going by that logic armor wars is probably scrapped. Although if it isn’t it’ll most likely take February 2026 release date. But if it is canceled it should be Shang chi 2 that takes the place of that date. That film can be used to set up avengers doomsday. The November 2026 date should most definitely be used for dr strange 3 and have it lead up to secret wars to wrap up the multiverse saga. The are two dates confirmed post secret wars. I feel the july 2027 date should be for fantastic four 2 it can serve as the epilogue for the multiverse saga just like far from home did for the infinity saga. We can see the new soft rebooted mcu through the eyes of the fantastic four. And lastly, the November 2027 date should be for the new rebooted x-men to be launch point for phase 7/ the mutant saga. Those two last films will be crucial to the future of the mcu since the fantastic four and x men will most likely be the face of the mcu going foward.
I really believe they should delay secret wars to around the end of the year of 2027 or delay the whole slate a year later. They can also extend phase 5 a little longer putting armour wars, vision quest and doctor strange 3 then Just before doomsday put Shang chi 2 after secret wars spider man 4, possible Deadpool 4, thor corps movie could be awesome too putting before secret wars
If they truly don’t delays secret wars which u have doubts for, it seems odd to have a July and Nov 2027 date. Secret wars should be a definitive end to the saga and the final project that year.
