Great review once again! :) While I know little about these characters, their designs are just iconic, and how I imagine certain D&D classes and races when I hear the word - Elkhorn is the quintessential Dwarf Fighter, Ringlerun could give Elminster a run for his money as the wise old Archmage, Strongheart is the image I think of when I hear the word Paladin, and so on. I am definitely going to buy both sets.
Thank you for doing a video on these classic characters. As soon as I saw you taking them out of the box I asked in the comments for you to do it. And I very much appreciate it. I look forward to the other pack being reviewed as well thank you.
The Gallant Goblin thank you for answering I eagerly await it. As luck would have it I just printed up a war duke oh my 3-D printer. But that one looks way better. Lol it figures that I spent a long time trying to find a good word OK finally got them and only then did they put one out the way I like it. And it bothers me to know when they didn't have a strong heart. But awesome now I can have both thank you.
Back in the 80s these were the most famous Dungeons & Dragons characters. It’s sad how nobody knows that now.. these characters appeared in at least two different modules from the 80s . They play regularly appeared in dragon magazine.. they appeared in the dungeons and dragons cartoon. They were in coloring books in color forms. They had their own toy line at one point they were pretty much everywhere at least two people in dungeons and dragons.
Amazon advised me they were getting those minis ready to ship and to be delivered by Tuesday, only to change the date back to January. I got excited for nothing 😒
The worship of ideals rather than Deities is a reference to the 1983 basic rules that used this terminology to avoid further attacks from religious groups that were worried D&D was an evil gateway game for their young children.

Classic D&D characters, awesome.
Can't wait to see the League of Malevolence and specifically Warduke.
Ringlerun also appears on the front of the second cover to the 1e Player’s Guide!
As a fan of the old D&D Cartoon, I'm pleased to see Strongheart again
Can’t wait for these. Great PC minis, and I have to say I appreciate that hit of nostalgia.

I had a white-armored Paladin action figure from that set, but I can't for the life of me remember what his name was!
Thanks!
I just wanted to test that out. Congrats :)
Really excited for these, and the League of Malevolence.
I am definitely getting this one because I used to have the original action figures back in the 80’s!
Me too! Which ones did you have?
@@BiggestDawgEver I had Kelek,
Warduke
Zarak

Thanks! More coming soon!
*Ahhhh!!* I'm so sinfully jealous still!... ... ... ..still waiting for Spelljammer tho...
Need this!!!!
Awesome
Love the minis... But why does it seem the quality of the paîntjobs are declining?

Who else think Strongheart bears a strong resemblance to Theo?
o.O I don’t have the mustache for it. 😂 -Theo
I notice they didn't make Melf. WotC have treated Gygax poorly to say the least.
yeah, weird they replaced him with Molliver a character that has no appearances. But I guess they wanted another female.

Good to know!! Thank you! -Theo
