@@hepgeoff I own the ROSSM and it’s not something you would notice unless you had both the RIDGE and ROSSM side by side to compare. I got the ROSSM on sale for $20 and it’s worth it 100%. I even grabbed another carbon fiber wallet in gloss for $8 on a lightning deal. I think I like that one better than the ROSSOM. I bought FOUR of these wallets for $55 and you can’t even get one RIDGE for that price and RIDGE isn’t made in the USA so there’s no need for the ridiculous high prices. $140 for the carbon fiber version?
If you register warranty, they send you 20% discount code for your next order. Rossm are very good quality. I remove the clip and just use these wallets without clip or cash strap. If you fold your cash in 3 sections (don't know how to better explain this) it becomes the exact width of a credit card, so I carry my cash inside the wallet. Obviously it depends on how many cards and how many bills you carry, but at this moment I have 6 cards and 8 bills inside, and my total thickness is approximately 12-13mm, very manageable. I barely ever use cash nowadays, so my bills stay folded inside my wallet for long time, just in case I absolutely must use cash. I don't think these kind of wallets are very convenient for frequent cash use... but it's just my opinion.
It's a great wallet for the price. Only thing to be aware of, the edges are sharp but it's an easy fix with a emery cloth to smooth out the edges. Skip the Ridge and get this!
Thanks for the tip. The sharp edges were a concern. I know the Ridge has beveled edges, but not willing to pay $100 for it.

@@hepgeoff anyway the edges aren't so sharp you could cut yourself or anything... it's ok for me, and we have to have in mind that the same design I have with the ROSSM for $20, is about $175 for the Ridge (Forged Carbon Fiber) ...
Nice review. My only concern about these kinds of wallets is how tight the cards are held in place. Sliding them in and out during use seems like it would scrape away any magnetic strips on the cards, and create more wear and tear. Would love to hear your review after having the wallet after a few months or a year.
Some people defend the price tag on the Ridge saying that it comes with a lifetime warranty. Okay but what fails on these products? The band stretches over time? Okay, the bands probably cost 0.50c for Ridge to replace and the RossM comes with a spare in the box anyway. The screws loosen over time? If this does happen then just tighten them back up with the screwdriver provided in both boxes. So imo the lifetime warranty is not even necessary and for the price difference between Ridge and RossM I would take the RossM all day.
They do i ended up going for the forged ember version and yeah they are the same wallets besides screws and the name every thing else is on par with rigde
Not much of a review. Didn't talk about card capacity, ease of use, how the elastic holds up, how the wallet feels when you are at card capacity, if you can actually reach capacity(embossed vs non), how it feels in your pants, etc.
I've owned both of these wallets simultaneously..here's my thoughts. Rossm is good, looks just like the Ridge. However there is something different about the way the Ridge feels. It feels better quality and the cards just slide in way smoother than the Rossm, I can't explain why. The Ridge can be expensive, they do have sales and discounts but it is more expensive than the Rossm obviously. If you don't mind spending more the Ridge quality is superior but the Rossm is not a bad option if you don't care about the quality difference.
That simply sounds like an empty justification for the price of the Ridge Wallet. Reminds me of how iPhone users defend them instead of admitting they got ripped off by Apple.
@@leonrobinson8180 some people prefer quality and want to pay more. It is what it is. You want something a little cheaper, that's cool. Rossm is decent just not the same as Ridge, it literally feels different and cheaper. If you actually have both in your hand, you'll know what I mean.
a question plz if you don't mind. Actually can we put money inside instead of outside and letting them to appear in public? is this feature available this would ne awesome.
@@emmanuelgeagea9745 if you are asking if you could put your cash in between the metal plates along with your cards then yes you could but most people use the cash strap or money clip

This video is 100% wrong and misleading. Did you even compare to a ridge?? I saw many online reviews, including this one, and wanted to see for myself whether a $140 Ridge is better than a $40 ROSSM or other generic. So I bought BOTH on Amazon. They both showed up last night. I can tell you 100% the Ridge is FAR nicer. It is all about the the material. They LOOK identical, they have the same size, shape..but the stuff you touch is not. The Ridge feels like real carbon fiber. You can feel the texture of the weave as you run your fingers over it- it has a very matte finish. The ROSSM looks like someone “printed” a carbon fiber image onto something then sparred clear coat on it - it feels smooth like glass..It feels cheaper
(Assuming you did actually do a personal comparison) thank you for actually commenting this. I was wondering about the actual difference and if the finishes really do seem real Vs printed, I’m definitely spending for the Ridge.
What about the plain aluminum finishes? Rossm is only 30 bucks and the ridge is over $100 for the cheapest ones. Not to mention carbon fiber is 175 😅 I own neither but am leaning towards Rossm for the price. They are both made in China possibly the same factory so I can’t justify paying 3x the amount
Thanks for watching! Check out the wallet here: Rossm Carbon Fiber Wallet: amzn.to/3ydifXd
Fun fact, this is legitimately a ridge wallet in every way, just sold cheaper
Pretty close to a Ridge, yes. But the Ridge has beveled edges, whereas the Rossm has sharp edges.

They do wear down the cards, I’ve had mine little over a year and went through one dod id and one debit card
They usually wear the cards you use more. Usually your creditcard but you can always replace your card for free at your bank
I've had this wallet for years. Absolutely no problem with the cards or money falling out. Highly recommend it.
just wonder how safe cards are stowed inside in case you only put 3-4 cards in? do the drop of?
