Best new channel in my feed! Can't wait to watch you all make this silo into everything you have planned. It will be fun to look back once this project blows up!

Thanks for watching! It’s starting to come together quickly now. The masonry and prep work took a lot longer than it looks but now with the roof on and entrance area being built we’re starting to see some major progress!

I hate reading. Maybe narrate what you're doing with subtitles. It would really help

This is a great series I just found and I'm really enjoying watching but you guys need to invest in some hearing and eye protection. Mortar in the eye is no joke and the way you're flinging it about, it's a very real possibility.

Thanks for watching! We’ve been trying to get better with the safety practices after learning the hard way. Hearing and eye protection is something we take a bit more seriously now

I admire the work you are doing. Love the concept of flipping a old masonry silo. Really Cool. Did you consider using the shot concrete technique when refacing and repairing the inside and outside of the silo walls? Same technique is used on swimming pools and re-bar reinforced walls. Shoot a little concrete, push in stones to fill large gap and shoot more to cover. Then finish trowel and sponge mop to get the texture you wanted. Just a thought. Enjoying the series.

Glad your enjoying the content, we did the old school hand tuck pointing method to try and keep the rocks exposed as much as we can! Thanks for watching!

Did you buy this property or is this for a client? It’s a gorgeous silo, love that I found your channel.

❤ Love watching the progress and craftsmanship. Where did the idea come from? This is for yourselves isn’t it ? How far north of Milwaukee are you? Just curious because I’m in Kenosha. Take care and stay safe. ❤

Thank you! We are about 30 min north of Milwaukee, we originally renovated a silo on our parents property to live in so when one of our relatives acquired this silo, we decided to renovate it as well!
