I still play this game regularly because it's one of these games that don't hold you back, you turn it on, press Start and go, simple as that... These kinds of quick-fun simplistic games are more needed these days

there was a "ripped" version of the ISO disc image that was only 30 MB Megs in size, without the music or the videos... wish I could find it again... if anyone knows or care to share it, let me know... just be careful because youtube won't allow links here, so you have to write down your reply in parts, we find a way for you to share the link

I still remember demolishing every driver or killing pedestrians in this game, as well using the splitscreen mode to force all races to be 1 lap. Favorite race here was the Night of the Zombie race set in a sinister land. Fun memories.

While not as great as the PC originals (both the original and its sequel), it at least plays way better than the N64 release!
Also the intro for the game is from its PC sequel; Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now.

Yeah using a SCART to HDMI converter, however this doesn't really influence on output quality. The converter was just used for compatibility reasons as our PVR didn't have a SCART port. Thanks for watching :)

I played this game in childhood on my psp before i even knew about carmageddon franchise then when i was older i already found out about carmageddon series and one time i wanted to find that “cool” game of my childhood and i was surprised when it was carmageddon for ps1 and it was really shitty confirmed to pc version but i still love this version of the fame no matter what

They have low detail in the PS1 version for a reason; there's hundreds of them.

@@baccy81 That's my point. You're comparing this to a PC game when you should be comparing it to other PS1 games.
I prefer the 2D sprites on the PC version, but that wasn't an option on the Playstation as it would eat up the VRAM.
