@@amarug usually when you think of castles, you don’t think of accordions. Let’s say the project was for a castle theme and then he submits a French-sounding tune. Would that even qualify? No. It’s a very nice piece but the judges just went with what they liked in no relation to the picture.
@@amarug The name of the piece is La Promenade. I know how the composer ended up here from the image alone, but it comes across as a seaside village more so than a castle, a bit of a stretch. TBH it kind of sounds like an animal crossing tune but more orchestral.
It’s a picture of a castle in northern France, so drawing from the musical heritage of northern France is very much on theme. There is no specific time period implied by the image - modern times are just as valid as medieval or fantasy.
Would anyone know of any other competitions? Looks like this one just ended? Fan of the channel, just put out a score on my channel and I’m super itching to enter it somewhere applicable 🙌🏼🫶🏻

Congratulations to all!
i don't know man but for me the grand castle and spring arrival are more related to the picture.
lol wait. Why did Leo win? It didn't give off the right vibe for the picture at all imo.
the grand castle reminded me of fossil falls from mario odyssey
So the winner is again not something related to the picture?
