When Stan was giving his speech in front of the town, I looked at the time and got pumped thinking we were getting a two-parter, but Randy's "Bro! I got shot!" felt like a classic SP trolling the audience with their ending. Lmao. Three great episodes so far. B+ tier for me
I'm psyched!
I THOUGHT THAT TOO! I WAS SO SURE IT WAS A 2 PARTER!
That final trolling was the worst, 0- tier for me!
I hope the next episode will tell me who is shooting everyone!!!
@@albertoromero5075 sure. And after that, maybe the Monty Python crew will finally make a sequel where King Arthur and his knights finally find the Holy Grail 🤣🤣
@@niziggz is it really necessary!
I think that this episode felt like a classic episode that came from Trey and Matt’s personal experiences because I have a hunch one of them bought a Japanese toilet and decided to do a whole episode around it lol
I fully agree, definitely felt like a classic episode and I’m all for it
or ots a metaphor :p
Considering trey really appreciates japan and Japanese culture. Most of the Japanese in the show is done by him.
Definitely felt like good old south park
Idk about it being a classic episode, you know they usually approach a subject while having satirical takes on both sides of it. However this does feel like an iconic episode where we see an issue through the scope of Matt and Trey's POV
The music that came with the toilet KILLED me every time 😂
Same lol
here's the song: ruclips.net/video/UePsEG_zQAE/видео.html
@@drewbarton196 God bless you 🙏🏽 😂
Oh Yeahh, oh yeah. I loved that 😂
The unnatural tone of the voice 😂
I try to put that same all-nighter energy into South Park vids as they put into South Park
I think the video is a metaphor for electric cars
7:33 I think it actually shows that despite all the crap Randy pulls, he still cares about his family. He already understood that trying to rebel will put you in danger (he and Jimmy) so he’s trying to make sure Stan, who is putting himself in the exact same position as Randy, doesn’t die
It feels like a reference to the banned episodes of south park
No i think he was more scared for his own life 😂
@@imge509 maybe both
It's kinda the same respons in the streaming wars when he finds out that manbearpig killed one of the streaming services, the first thing he was scared of was that Stan had helped them and might be targeted. Not that he had his own streaming service.
@@imge509yea mfs look way to far into shit he literally said bro i got shot ahut tf up essentially
It's kind of a weird middle ground they're trying to find with Randy. They really don't want to let go of Tegridy Farms but also are getting him into antics that aren't weed-related and are keeping Nelson around too. I don't know how to feel about it, especially after Streaming Wars 2 teased us like that.
It was weird seeing a more traditional Randy story with him in his tegrity costume. Especially after he was back in his old duds last time we saw him
I’ve seen it’s rumored that Matt and Trey might be joining the cannabis industry, so I think it’s probably good for their marketing. I do miss randy the geologist tho :(
@Sheldy.Henron it's almost as if randy has 2 or more outfits
Think this episode handled it well. It's a successful business that he genuinely loves doing, so he has no reason to quit it, but it isn't getting shoved in our faces with constant weed jokes and he's very much acting like Randy first and foremost.
That said, for posterity, on the MACRO level I find the concept of the Tegridy half-season a few years back downright hilarious. I genuinely think it was funny as hell that they saw everyone getting pissed off at one-note weed joke episodes, week by week, and then followed it up with another one for six straight weeks. Doesn't mean I'll be revisiting those episodes any time soon, but it's classic Matt and Trey that they did that.
@@Lumistrocity lol. As they're clearly trying to go back a little, I'd reserve his farming outfit for when he's actually doing farm stuff.
I love the small detail in the end when all of South Park apologizes to big TP, the only ones that don’t apologize are the 4 boys themselves
I always hated going to home improvement stores. Probably because when I moved into my house as a kid i had to stay there for hours until my parents finally found the perfect kitchen sink or something.
This gave me just a little bit of that “ugh” feeling lol like “it’s gonna be a boring shite day…”
I don't hate it. But i don't like it either...
I think this is how Randy should be as a character. First post season 23 episode about Randy that I have liked!
Even the special?
Randy sucks
@@justincanu9153”did everybody enjoy the special” “no just you randy”
Yeah, agree. Didn't enjoy the tegrity stuff as much but still love all south park
That sense of dread walking into a Home Depot stems from the disappointment of going into one as a kid.
I must be the only person who liked Home Depot as a kid.
@@Choshako That home Depot smell is like no other. Tied with the fresh new leather shoes smell.
idk, when I was a kid they still kept individual screws just out for you to grab handfuls to buy and kid me loved playing in the isle with all the screws
Did you know there was a car that ran solely on water? The guy that made it soon died and the blueprints to his car was taken. We all know who did it.
Something I've noticed is consistent since the Cartoon Wars saga and honestly probably earlier is that, whenever SP gets REALLY tongue-in-cheek sarcastic about a moral (this ep, 201, etc), the point they're making is "threats of violence and other extreme punishments against the advocates for a cause and their loved ones genuinely do work to silence it, and we think that's absolutely abhorrent." Honestly makes me hope that they do an episode on stochastic terrorism type stuff.
Imagination land, and the critter Christmas are both examples of them already doing that.
What is PR other than brand affirmation and cultural legacy... So, what makes advertisement and large box store messaging any different than small scale coalition building? Status quo, that's all it is.
both sides end up looking lame from it. bowing to threats is never ok and should be shamed, even if we'd all do it.
I love the eerie and suspensive atmosphere that the second half of the episode has 😂
Also, the idea that Randy's proctologist run out of business just because ONE of his clients (Randy) doesn't need him anymore freaking killed me 😂
What I saw in this episode was an analogy between Big Oil (Toilet Paper) and alternative energy (Japanese Toilets), specifically Tesla IMO. When Randy is shopping for a toilet, the salesman asked if he'd like to take one of the Japanese toilets for a test drive while holding up car keys. This was the most obvious comparison to me. After Randy bought one, all he wants to do is show it off and try to convert everyone else to get one (like many Tesla owners). He even makes an argument of how it pays itself off in the long term due to savings on TP and Hemroid cream; many Tesla owners also make this point as well by comparing the cost of gasoline to how much money it takes to charge their car. Additionally, Randy being assassinated is also reflective of conspiracy theories that say people have been created alternative energy sources to oil for close to 100 years now and they have all been silenced and their technology destroyed by "Big Oil"; I don't buy into these theories too much, personally, but it seem like another point of conjecture for the analogy and the episode.
I didn't realize this before but your theory makes a lot of sense.
Yeah like the mysterious death of the guy who invented a car that was powered by water.
This fundamentally works for *any* large businesses which profit from antiquated technology.
Tires for instance have no reason to pop, the industry just uses old model tires because there would be no profit if you only had to sell people tires once.
In theory, if cancer could be cured, then billions of dollars would be lost out of the hands of a few.
The fucked thing is, its good satire because its so true. Violence really solves everything, and who is more well-positioned to hire an assassin if someone introduces a novel, progressive technology besides fabulously wealthy executives?
@@TheBuckweat33 yes but fail to see most tech that use trikeles down from us army. from how talk about caner just prowes that more or less know that it makes sick. not know why or how diffrent caner work. and tier that don't get eat up bye road. pluss oil, gas and coal. wow so hard. heat up water and make turbine move.

Not hearing jimmy stutter during this episode was so weird.
yeah
He doesn’t stutter when things get serious.
He DOES NOT stutter about toilet paper
@@MagicalBread makes sense.
Henry old friend! What the devil have you been up to lately? So weird how it's been nearly five years since that shabang in Frankfurt!
this episode ended a little differently than I expected. I figured Randy would go back on things but I thought it would be cause the toilet paper companies offered him a huge deal to make hemp toilet paper. not cause he got shot.
It would be funny if they offered him to buy his weed to sell hemp toilet paper. And also would show how sometimes silencing someone means offering them cash, furthering the commentary
This episode has huge references to the JFK movie. Randy is JFK, Stan is Kevin Costener, and Jimmy is Mr. X
They really are getting stronger with the emotional elements of the show and making the characters all feel like a family again in a way I’ve NEVER seen from previous seasons. They keep making it a point to show them supporting each other and I’m really enjoying that now.
"Bro I got fucking shot!!" My new favorite randy Marsh quote/moment 🤣
This episode definitely subverted my expectations. I thought the episode was gonna be bland, but that second half was so shocking, it made me think it's teasing a bigger plotline akin to the advertising plot from season 19. This episode might be my favorite of the season.
Nah, it sucked
@@reek4062 you work for Big TP?
That "Bro! I got f**king shot!" is such a good line lol. The kind of line my friends and I are just gonna say as an inside joke
I liked it because at least Randy is learning better. That said, are you all shocked they're going after the TP companies? One of their most popular episodes involve them TP'ing an Art Teacher's house, the Covid episode scenes have them panic buying toilet paper. They also had an abundance of literal fart and crap jokes. This was coming to the logical conclusion that not only did humanity use too much toilet paper over the years, but they also used to much toilet jokes.
This episode was a classic haven’t had an episode this good for awhile
Yup makes it mid tier
The pajama day episode was also extremely classic feeling
This episode sucked
If this is the bar for a good South Park episode anymore than the series is dead. The episode was awful and the whole season so far has just been a drag to try watching
@@just_right9642name like 3 bad things about this episode
This episode educated me on how bad toilet paper really is. Like, 70% of the world doesn't actually use it. 31 million trees are cut down to make it
Plus the average person using 140 rolls per year.
@@johnwiesner9590 How much is a roll there?
@@mstr293 So I don't live in the USA, but from a quick google search and some calculations, it turns out I'd save the equivalant of a 100 USD if I stopped using toilet paper. If my whole household did it, that's 300 USD. And that does not sound like much, but a medium bottle of water costs the equivalant of half a dollar, so this is like 300 liters of water. Or 40 McDonalds meals (burger + fries + drink). Or three months worth of electricity. Basically, it's nothing to scoff at.
I work in a paper mill and we've been getting out wood from the same forests for the last 140 years, it turns out paper is a renewable resource
@@JanisFever That dose does not make it a good product for our buttholes. Toilet paper is a known contributor to anal fissures, hemorrhoids, staff infections of the anus, and even rectal cancer. Not to mention the cost difference. You can get a sprayer bidet for $30. Buy up a bunch of brown face towels to dry with for another $30ish and never have to buy toilet paper again. I have had mine for just over a year now. Every aspect of that part of my life is better. I have also saved quite a good chunk of money this first year.
I think the reason you experience dread from those stores is because the only reason you are there is likely because you have a lot of work to do with something wrong in your house or something you need to build, install, paint etc.
This episode was so weird. I can't decide if I liked it or hated it.
For me its just a perfect mix of both
Honestly it felt like a great episode because it's stupid to attack tp but at the same time genius to show people about the benefits for bidets maybe not as expensive as Randy's but still good
Same it was funny but like half of it got soo weird
I loved it.
Having Jimmy in the episode is always a plus
I think the ending wasn't really Southpark apologizing to the toilet paper companies, and more of a set up for that "Love you forever honey", joke.
I personally really liked the episode. I got a lot of laughs out of it and it almost felt like it was building to something a bit more substantial.
I personally enjoyed it so far this season is just like it was back in the day no story base just fun and funny South Park is back
ok south park simp
If it was like old South Park then it would actually be a funny and entertaining episode that isn’t a drag to get through
Back in 2020, a roll of TP went to $50 a roll. Dark times.
I've started looking forward to your analysis of each episode just as much as the episodes themselves!
I’d love to see the updated ranking for episodes! Great work as always!
1:29 I might be crazy in the opposite way: I really love home improvement stores. Just walking around looking at stuff makes me feel calm. Even when I have no idea what something is used for.
The funny thing is the camera industry went through the same thing with digital photos. They made such ungodly amounts of money off of rolls of film that they did everything they could to keep the knowledge of digital photo technology quiet for as long as they could. The military had access to that technology for like a decade before the rest of us because of this lol
"-for all you peasants-I - I MEAN, viewers.." GOT ME ROLLING 😫😫
i grew up on going to home depot with my dad, going into those stores floods me with nostalgia and makes me super present in the moment everytime, love those stores. even in your case, it makes you recognize your existence, even if it's the dreadful essence you perceive. weird philosophical characteristics in these stores
i think this is just an attack on major corporations as a whole, since they will do anything to destroy the competition, as they did with randy in this episode
One of my friends told me, “If you got some shit on your arm, you wouldn’t just wipe it off with dry paper” and nothing has ever made more sense to me.
That's because things touch your arm commonly, but things rarely go inside of your ass crack, and if they did you'd clean them.
"The word “brunch” was coined by British writer Guy Beringer in an 1895 article in Hunter's Weekly. He argued that instead of the post-church early dinner that was typical in England at that time, there should be a hybrid of breakfast and lunch served around noon for “Saturday-night carousers” to enjoy."
then in the early 1900s it was popularised as a meal on Sundays to help deal with hangovers from the night before - of course it became popular when beer was involved - then Americans took it and turned it into what it is now
I hope we get a prequel episode or a flashback on how Jimmy uncovered the TP affair
The episode was tackling: conspiracy theories.🤣
yeah
I really loved this episode, I think this might be my favorite so far together with the episode 2 Worldwide Privacy Tour.
My wife and I have been using a manual bidet for years now, we only use toilet paper to dry off. It's really great!
Funny though, last night I watched a video of an American who came to live in my country for a few years, and the very first thing that he mentions is that he doesn't need to be so stressed out anymore about which of the 40 brands of toilet paper to buy.
Was anyone else half expecting Jimmy to reveal he used to be able to walk?
Definitely ha.
Fun fact: in the uk, the premier of the new episode was 10pm, the south park block was 9pm to midnight. The first episode on the block was the OTHER randy toilet humor episodes.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
Wow, I love your content. I love that I got to see it so early. Keep up the good work!!!
I must say, I like your sense of humour (went back to that summoning salt parody too. Absolute gold!)
I can also relate to being overwhelmed with dread when entering home improvement stores. I'm not entirely sure why but the atmosphere of a home improvement store feels like it saps away my very soul.
I just wanted to say that I love your videos! And I was wondering if you could show an average rating for each season? Like if all together if a season’s average was calculated on a 1-6 scale (a = 1 and 6 = f) and the average (going to like the hundredth decimal) would be combining all the season’s episodes ratings together and divided by the amount of episodes. I think it’d be interesting and would show scientifically which season was your favorite and being able to view whether or not this new one could keep up its streak :) I think it’d also be interesting to see if you agree with the average to see if this season really was your personal favorite or whether your favorite is based on something more than just your individual liking of episodes accumulating
Loved this episode honestly. One of my favorites in awhile
The JFK parody in this episode was genius, easily one of my favourite episodes.
I think this was a metaphor for broader corporatism.
The idea that we could have far better services and lifestyles for the average person if corporations didn't hold so much sway.
Great vid bruh keep em comin
Happy to see new vids thanks man 😏👌
In the 1960s, one American had made a company tried to sell bidets but they were so unpopular they not much were ever sold in the US.
The most shocking part of this episode is that Jimmy had a bike
Maybe a subtle way of saying that they broke his legs
The way this episode goes reminds me of the massive push that cigarette companies want people to stay away from vape
I know it sounds weird, but i’ve dealt with this whole “Japanese/fancy toilet supremacy thing”, namely the whole bidet culture. Hell, one of the early toilets with the controls on the side we see is the same model my folks have. I’ve tried it, didn’t like it. Never dried me properly so either I dealt with a wet spot on the underwear, or it dried too much and caused other issues for me.
In Japan they still use toilet paper to dab and dry. I never used the blow-drying function haha. Problem solved.
Eew... rather get some wet spots than leave some leftover crap in my butt. Towels exist for a reason. Ffs, try removing ice cream stains with TP alone and notice how you'll still feel some sticky part in your hands, which is why washing your hands with soap and water. That's what's going on with your butt each time you use a TP.
The thing is with smart toilets, how do they flush if you have no power?
Most of them have an emergency flush method
They flush like a normal toilet.
The electric flush is only on the highest end ones. Anything below that and you still have a manual flush.
It's so sad the entire work force behind this episode shot themselves in the back of the head 27 times each
You always get me with the ending. Hilarious
I used to hate home improvement stores, but now that I'm a homeowner, I feel like a kid in a candy store!🤣😅
Guys the one who shot randy has to be towlie. He comes from the paper industry😂
I'm not gonna lie, This is my second favorite Jimmy episode
I actually feel anticipation when I walk into home improvement stores. Especially the lighting section, that place is mesmerizing
I think you were off on Randy's motivations at the end. He was in fact a big believer in axing toilet paper.
The whole "Say you're sorry, South Park!" was meta commentary in the same vein as the end of Trapped In The Closet when Stan's having the "WE'LL SUE!" "SUE US THEN!" exchange with Scientologists.
The thing I dont get is... unless a toilet is literally broken... it's just a big ceramic mechanical system... it doesn't wear out.
New Wax Seal, new Gaskets, New Flushing mechanism New Seat, Maybe a bidet seat... and a good cleaning... will make any toilet new.
Loved it 😂 South Park is having an amazing season so far.
I feel that way too, there was this one time when I was young where I went to one with my aunt and had a overwhelming dread over me, my theory, maybe it’s something to do with the way the wood smells, idk, I could be very wrong 🤷♂️
1:42 Can’t say I have ever felt dread walking into one, outside of the time I went in for an interview which sadly didn’t work out.
So, the algorithm blessed me with your content and I have binged pretty much every video since 🫠just wanted to drop in and say your content is sick & I can’t wait to hear more from you ❤ xo
Great channel man
The part where Stan was being bully for having nice stuff that other can’t afford was so reliable to me because my friend stop for being friends with me bc I have nice stuff
1:42 yes but only because I worked night shift in one as a teenager while being severely understaffed. A whole warehouse sized store with only 3 people stocking heavy parts, machinery, and tools alone.
The entire speech about toilet paper was a metal gear cutscene
we really need to appreciate the music in blooms videos more
Note... Don't get a 40 dollar Bidet... Spurge for a 200 dollar heated seat with heated water. The Air is not a pleasant experience, dry with some Quality TP! -and you wont get shot by the charmin bear-
I suppose if you're in like Cali or Florida where tap water is 80 degrees, then a 40 dollar seat would do.
The water is currently 42 degrees out of the tap, great for filtered water, not so great for sensitive areas.
dude I love the skit at the end of the video
I'm really glad I found another channel that talks about South Park insesantly. Did you alredy do a review on the Black Friday trilogy?
Okay fr I woke up this morning and took a really large...anyways that episode popped up in my head as I examined my specimen.
1:30 I renovate houses for a living, going to these stores like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Stine, etc. is just routine. After an about a month I got a good grasp on where everything is.
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
I loved this episode, it was so funny
I'm a plumber and I have installed these fancy toilets several times. I want to learn exactly what the Japanese people said so I can do that when I am installing 😂😂😂
Did anyone else notice how jimmy didn't stutter at all almost in this episode, which makes him sound like Cartman.
You cray cray, I love home improvement stores.
I love those stores, but I also enjoy building things so that just goes hand in hand
I often used to feel the Home Depot Dread too. I’m now able to handle the tool section with ease but still feel off everywhere else
I grew up in a cabinet shop and love working with my hands, perhaps this is why I love visiting home improvement stores.
I found it pretty funny that South Park sounded more threatened by toilet paper corporations than terrorists.
Capitalists hold more power.
I really loved this episode. I've loved these last 2 seasons to bad they're held back by horrid streaming deals so we didn't just get 6 new episodes every year.
I love going into those stores. Endless project opportunities
the home improvement stores thing is true-i get this feeling specifically in Lowes & Sears. its comparable to the feeling I get in huge warehouse gyms like planet fitness .
the sheer vastness of them is foreboding kind of like the thought of our endless galaxy.
anyway great video as usual :P❤️
"Bro, I got fucking shot." Is my favourite line of the episode. I really love this review, good job Blooms!
This is my favorite episode in S26 so far. Hilarious.
I find your bit about home improvement/hardware stores really funny because the opposite is true for me
Yeah man I never even thought about how toilet paper is a main reason for infections, hemorrhoids. It actually made me want to get one of those bidets/japanese toilets.
I think the reason you might feel discomfort--or dread--visiting a home improvement store (such as Home Depot) is because there are usually wood enthusiasts and hobbyists there who spend quite a bit of time there, know where everything is, what every little part is for. I wouldn't say I felt anxious, but I definitely felt as though I'm just here to get light bulbs... and I wasn't sure which I needed 😅 so I brought my dead ones to the store. I just wanted to get out asap.
There's nothing wrong with not being a woodworker or hobbyist involving home improvement. Just remind yourself it's a store like any other 😁
Also, great video :)
I loved this episode
They took a mundane subject as a broken toilet and turned into a f*cking global conspiracy and of course...Randy being Randy
I hear you on the whole home improvement stores making you feel dread, idk why I feel the same
