    Sir,
As a juxtaposition to many of your commenters, I’m a straight, blue collar, hunting, fishing, cliché, cliché guy and just want to express my appreciation, from my side of things, for ALL your music and your full owning of your style and identity, it’s pretty badass.
Playing your stuff in my shop for the boys is always a good time.

This song means so much to me, it’s hard to put it into words.
I’ve struggled with matters of gender identity and sexuality for a long time, and in no way would I consider myself past them, but looking back I think it’s only fair to acknowledge how far I’ve come. Coming to terms with your sexuality is hard in any circumstance, let alone in a rural town with no way to meet new people, or to experiment and explore, and to be quite honest it’s been fucking hard. Incredibly fucking hard. And painful. And to accompany that, discovering your gender, and all the baggage that comes with that at the same time? Grim, to say the least. The feeling of never quite fitting in, never being anything enough of anything to belong properly, drove me to near death.
But there’s also moments of joy in discovering yourself. Pure unconstrained bliss. Big moments, like catching the train to attend pride in the nearest city with a close friend and feeling the joy of thousands of others shine back to you. Quiet moments, when you look in the mirror, and not only recognise the face staring back at you, but feel proud, feel lucky, that you’re here. And rare moments, like when you hear someone so perfectly describe how you feel, it’s as if they’ve reached out to you, just you, to let you know they feel the same. It’s that moment, the rare one, which Pony gave me.
All I can say is thank you. I can’t begin to describe the countless nights I’ve listened to this album and cried, not out of sadness, not really, but out of the feeling of being seen. Understanding my loneliness, the feeling of not really quite fitting in anywhere I should, isn’t just mine. This album changed my life, and I am eternally grateful.
Thank you, Orville Peck. Thank you for helping me feel like I belong, a small cowboy in a big desert.

This is going to sound like a reductive take on such an emotive piece of art, but somewhere, in an empty truck stop in the middle of an endless highway, amongst the hazy half-busted neon lights and the cool fingers of night air, and miles and miles of sand that even the desert has forgotten, there's a lone cowboy twerking mournfully against a broken-down van. Nobody knows quite why. Some say he's always been there. Some say he always will be. And in a way, aren't we all that lone twerking cowboy on an endless desert road? Thank you for coming to my paltry attempt at trying to express what this music feels like to me.

I'm a straight white dude. Your music means more to me than any music I've heard in at least 5 years. You deserve to be mentioned with Johnny Cash, Whitney Huston, Frank Ocean and simply the most special music to grace human ears. In addition to the vibe you give that gives me a similar feeling of going to local punk and hardcore shows. It's honestly fucking absurd that you found your voice and THIS is what it was. Jesus, it's something truly special.

Cold Canadian up here...thought there were only a couple of ways to do country, but you break the mold for me...
but it's more than that...I'm at a point in my life where all the old clothes don't seem to fit anymore, but I didn't know what new clothes I wanted to buy, if you know what I mean?
I feel like I'm losing my sense of old identity, but there is nothing to replace it with..so I just pay attention to things that actually fill me with passion rather than just something to be in a rut to. Long story short, whenever I feel like I don't have a sense of myself, I just put on your music and it feels like a primal anchor..just grounding my soul and all it's passions, to the good solid ground of your grooves.
You are doing gods work, keep going!

I recognized several places in this video, including the outside of the White Horse in Austin. I love this video, and the music just sent chills up my spine.

This video is the epitome of what it's like to tour with friends. I toured with my band only for a few days, I think less than 2 weeks, when I graduated high school. This is exactly how we imagined it in our heads. It didn't turn out this good (😂) but this is just how we all wanted it to be. Peck & friends are just so... human. So genuinely ordinary yet glamorous. I will cherish this band forever.

Reminds me of all the good times I walked away from when I was young and wild. I guess every party has to end, though. Live it up, boys and girls! 💣

I just picked up guitar again after a bad hand injury years ago. Never sang much before but I'm trying to get into it because of Orville. I'm jealous of your vibrato.

WHOA stoked to see a crud city shirt popping up in this video (the bootleg one, with all the cartoon characters). Just when I thought I couldn't love 'em more they go and support a local artist in my hometown. What a treasure.
