    Looks like you have a nice one. I returned mine today to the mint because of numerous die polish lines. Other posters are reporting the same problems with their coins.

    Too bad they didn't take a little more time with something that was touted as being special to finish the dies properly. Looks like they have problems with die polish and tooling showing up on these.

    Nice but the strike could have been better. I'm see the tool marks on it from the strike.

    What is high relief?

    • @Illinination1977
      @Illinination1977  4 года назад

      high relief refers to the distance from the lowest point of the field of a coin to the highest point of the sculpted, raised design. The fields of a coin are the areas that have no design, and are generally flat.

    such a disappointing design. Very glad I avoided purchasing this one. Nothing, nothing compared to the 2009 UHR and the history that coin represents. US mint is done. Political correctness killed our coinage even.

      I agree. Just saw the 'potential' 2019 coins. Some with Eagles are absolutely gorgeous. Then there are the PC ones. Asian looking woman on one WTF? and a chubby latino looking girl on the other. The African woman on the 225th anniversary coin barely sold.

      Go back to your trailer park, Cleetus. FFS your insipid racism extends even to _coins_ ? SMH.

      @@rebellucy5610 Do you have some sort of rational explanation for why only certain ethnicities belong on currency?

    • @rebellucy5610
      @rebellucy5610 4 года назад +1

      Who is on the Chinese Yuan? A African? Who is on British money? A Mexican? Who is on the US dollar? A Japanese person? How about the Mexican Peso? A Canadian? Each currency is representative of the majority of its people or a historic leader or President. NOT a PC choice. Only Globalists think differently because they want a one world currency. You are probably a liberal. Emotional thinking and no regards to rational thoughts.

    • @RealityIsTheNow

      @@rebellucy5610 Actually, if you could be bothered to learn anything about it, currencies typically feature people of all the various ethnicities with in the country. In China for example there are literally dozens of ethnic groups. And these people are featured all over the money. in America, ethnic minorities have actually been here far longer than the pasty white European. Hispanics in particular been living in the what is now the US for centuries longer than British or German people.and this is to say nothing of the ten thousand years of native peoples who populated the place before Europeans stopped worshipping the Moon. and if you go back far enough you find that these native peoples are themselves descended from Asiatic peoples. Either learn some history, or go find a ku Klux Klan meeting if you want racial purity.
