The eagle eye on the 21' liberty is mesmerizing. The way it shines when light hits it, just pops. But the 23' is by far my favorite eagle design
Love the 23. I think you open field really accentuates the obverse bristle cone. The gold and the silver both spectacular.
I’m very fond of horses, especially our mustangs, and with how pretty the coin is it’s #1 on my list when I have the money saved for it. Hands down the most beautiful coin I’ve ever seen

I love how they made the eagle's talons so enormous in relation to the rest of it's body. Very intimidating!
I agree, if you could take the obverse of the 2021 and reverse of the 2023, that is the coin. Beautiful piece. I didn't snag either this year, but nice pieces. I wish they would have did the wooden box like last years silver one. I do however like the imagery on the box. Sweet pieces to add to your stack Speg.

Hats off to the US Mint. The packaging looks good. Maybe the complaints they got, helped improve the care of the packaging of their product. Very nice addition to your collection.
The shipping of their boxes has improved. I forgot to mention that. In the last it was an outer box with loose products inside jingling around. Now they’re more secure with large-sized bubble wrap in an appropriate sized box. Bravo to them listening to feedback.
There is too much packaging and too big of boxes. As a collector I want the coin not the elaborate boxes
Thought I'd add a comment. I finally received my silver medal Saturday February 3rd. It had been backordered for months, I'd actually forgotten about it. Now that I've got it, I think it's beautiful. It would have been nice if the mint had added the weight and fineness on the edge. I just checked the mint website, and they have some medals available. You can add one to your cart.
I got mine today, they where both beautiful and stunning IMO way better than what they looked like on the website or in camera. Sadly my silver metal has a good size scratch on the front of the coin 😞so hopefully I can get it exchanged for a new one.
The down side is now I have to collect the whole series. It might take me several years to get them all but now its my goal.

BEAUTIFUL PIECE THOUGH
Nothing is "Sold Out" until the red circle shows up on the Mint website next to the item. "Remind Me" button is your indicator that they are just catching up with orders, mostly due to CC info not going though for whatever reason, address incorrect, and waiting for returns. I was able to put two of those 2021 High Relief in my bag at least a month ort two after their issue thanks to the Remind Me button. And, they had gone down in price ! The problem is EVERYONE gets the text, sometimes on a Saturday morning! If you snooze, you lose which has happened to me on other coins from the Mint with active Remind Me button. For the 2023 High Relief I'm good: Received my confirmation email for 3 that were ordered on release date. Beautiful coin!
Both the 2021 and the 2023 are "Remind Me" but also listed as "This product is currently unavailable". I dont expect the 2021s to become available again any time soon!
Once they are sold out the red Sold Out icon will replace Remind Me button. Six days after release and everyone saying the 2023 was "sold out" they are now available again. Just bought my 4th :-) @@mitral5333

I LOVE that Bronco gold coin! The 2023 High Relief Coin is still available on US Mint for the price you mentioned as of Aug 29th, 0140 hours Mountain Time. I am so itching to buy one, but I did pick up two of the sliver proofs of the same. I also grabbed 5 of the silver Broncos, BU.The gold coins you showed are soooooo freaking beautiful! No way I could be disciplined enough to keep it in the box. It would have to go into my capsule tubes so I could easily caress the coin every night, lol/

I received both my Gold and Silver 23 Liberty's yesterday and darn if I don't like the Silver one better. Don't get me wrong, I love the Gold but the silver just sparkles.

Just did Order my Gold & Siler coins. Should have them in 3/4 days.
I'm jealous. Six days ago as of watching this. My gold liberty order has been processing for eleven days now. Anybody else getting this runaround. Calling the mint customer service has been to no avail. They are overworked and underpaid to hear them tell it.
2023 silver medal and gold coin are absolutely winners. Like precious metals standing the test of time likewise with the tree design. I missed out for gold coin. In my opinion 2023 is superior in appearance than 2021 liberty
Those are really nice. I could get the silver...but i really want the gold. Yes, its sold out now, but i did have a "chance" a couple days ago, of course if you don't include "ability" 😅😂
Edit: i am also not too much a fan of the silver being a "medal" versus a coin. Not exactly sure why, but i would prefer it to be a coin as well 😅
I like the silver metal better because I can afford it. I would love to get gold but it will be awile ,like hit the lotto time. Thanks for the plege at the end.

The 2021 doesn’t make sense. The design was to show how the USA bucked off British rule. BUT, the Mustang is bucking off a Western saddle when it should have been a English saddle to show the symbolism the coin was meant to show.

Schmutz would be nasty little fingers that a mint employee didn't wash their hands before handing those capsules. Mint employees in my book are called Schmucks because they are sneaky at making Errors on coins then passing them off out the back door!!! So it is in my belief that some of them may have done this in return of half the money that someone cashed out on.

I just got the 2023 silver medal,
I noticed that the CAO says it is legal tender.
I also checked my 2022 silver medal ant it says it is NOT legal tender.
As far as I know medals are not legal tender , now I'm confused

Probably did. The coin can’t be legal tender without a denomination on it. Luckily this is the FIRST time the mint has made a mistake :)
I wonder why they did not throw a $1 price on the back to make that a silver coin instead of a metal?

Cool looking medal, only concern, no .999 on the medal, I think it would raise flags for some dealers, don't you?
I’d say as long as you have all the bells and whistles (the packaging with the info) any respectable dealer will know that this medal is what it is. They should be staying up to date with releases like this.

Packaging is too big. It's always my biggest complaint about the mint. I wish they'd just do away with the cheap jewel box package.

That’s rough because ideally if you get a 70 it’ll be your best bet but what if it comes back a 68? Now you’ve wasted time and effort … and money

The bucking horse 🐎 is my favorite but the reverse on the tree coin is better than the reverse on the horse coin
