Funny isn't it, they don't appear to like gold and silver, because of the reason your money is out of the system and no longer under their control. They are "concerned that you might lose money through it or be taken advantage of" but its alright for them though, to recommend you invest your money through one of their financial advisors into shares that then lose money for you. That isn't taking advantage of you at all especially because you have to pay also for their so called financial advice

My buddy ordered 21 thousand dollars worth of gold and silver from a reputable dealer here in British Columbia earlier this year. About a week later, the dealer called him to see if he still wanted to purchase the products as the bank had not sent payment to them. He had to take a day off work to go to the bank to find out why , they had temporarily shut down his account because they thought it might be a fraudulent transaction, didn’t call or email him to confirm it at all before they did that. All his pre authorized payments were shut down as well, talk about a load of shit.

When your money is in the banking system it actually loses value with every transaction. To the buyer it doesnt seem so but as a seller you get less than the buyer paid.
Thats why they want a cashless society to tax every transaction we make.

The bullion business is an untrustworthy business. I mean, whether you are buying or selling. I don't trust dealers. The banks don't trust dealers or stackers. Dealers don't respect stackers. No one trusts anyone. Dealers tell me my bullion is worth a ton of money until its time to sell it back to them. I want lower premiums but pm is really scarce which justifies the high premiums when I buy. It seems like the dealers always win. The banks are pissed because you are buying and selling real money which makes the dollar lose value. For my part, I keep the banks out of the loop. I pay in cash and only accept cash when I sell. I never deposit the cash in the bank either. I don't care what the coin shop's do. Why should I? Its a dog eat dog world now.

    Hi byb ,
Of course banks don't like gold and silver. Banks want to sell paper promises. For these products they give lower interest rates compared to what the banks make at the capital market.
On top following: if you talk to your financial adviser at the bank it's well not an adviser but a sales person. He/ she wants to make money on the back of the customer.
By buying gold and silver you avoid all that.
And that's the reason they hate gold and silver!
    Best wishes from Germany

I know you don't like conspiracy theories, you called me a nut last time I mentioned this. I agree the action against coin and bullion dealers is to do with compliance and the untraceable nature of most precious metals as opposed to a grand conspiracy against us personally. You're right what you said - this is not a conspiracy it's just how it's going to happen. Yes, we're deliberately phasing out cash and any untraceable asset like precious metals to replace it with fully digital CBDCs. The want to know everything about the compliance side while tracing every transaction and knowing the full identity of every party. Just like they do in China.
Who made China's CBDC and social credit score system? We (the collective west) did, many employees have quit at large firms like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc due to contracts with the CCP and even the US military. There's a connection between tech companies and personalities like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, Bill Gates and China - all of them rely on China to produce their products and make them rich. In exchange the individuals and companies design tech for the CCP to the specs they ask for. Elon Musk said we should just give Taiwan and Hong Kong to China.
China is the model we are following using the technology and abilities we gave them. A world in which you can't board a train, bus, taxi or plane without being approved biometrically and paying in CBDCs is not a conspiracy, it's what China is aiming for and currently achieving. There are even crazier things out there like WorldCoin and connecting digital currencies to water facets, which has already happened in Africa. In China they are willing to do similarly dystopian things to citizens they deem to have crossed the line. The phrase, "own nothing and be happy", is a CCP phrase, that is precisely their system - you don't own anything even your house, you are given leases by the CCP which they can revoke whenever they want
In the UK or US if you buy an iPhone upfront in full then you would own the iPhone. If you use a subscription with a carrier or an Apple upgrade plan, you never own the phone even after it's paid off. In order to get your latest iPhone you have to send the old one back to Apple, then the cycle repeats. Own nothing, be happy. Many people use the same system with cars in which case you can either own all of the car, own some equity or trade-in value for the car, or own none of the car and get a new one every 3-5 years. Always paying, rarely owning. The big one is paying rent. All the same payments as the car and iPhone with zero ownership or small amounts of equity
This is the CCP model and it's the model turning some men in the US and EU into billionaires, probably eventually trillionaires. If the CCP system is our system but a few years in the future, then we don't have to create conspiracy theories to know what's going to happen next, we just have to observe what they do to their own people
I remember saying you were on their radar maybe 8 months ago and you laughed. It's not funny. Ultimately people with physical assets that can't be traced or taxed and those who choose not to live on subscription will become vulnerable as the system perceives those who live any part of their lives outside the system as being a threat. If you think for yourself then it's more difficult for them to tell you what to think
The evidence is strong of a uniparty within the UK (doesn't matter who is in government it's still the same BS). The same is true in the US and EU. They come together with counterparts from what we perceive as rival nations like China, and they decide the rules the rest of us must live by. The rules are simple - taxes and usury to ensure their continued wealth and control over global affairs. Precious metals, cash, farms, these are the antithesis of centralised control. They must limit or cease the ability of plebs to own these things. That is what they are doing. A war against cash. A war against farmers. The war against precious metals hasn't begun in earnest but a few warning shots have been fired.

If the banks continue to going this way. The uk banks will lost out on their profits. People can take their money out of the big banks and start using the smaller individual banks and push thier profits up in their instead.
    Cash should always be king.
We will all get old one day, and when your eyes are failing and your hands cant move. That means there will definitely a issue for the elderly.

The solution not mentioned get a kinesis account, as a way to pay for gold/silver with gold/silver. It's got peer to peer payments, a virtual debit card, vaulted gold/silver storage.

@@BackyardBullion975 sterling is still 975 sterling. Someone I know had to fill a suitcase that was heavy bc of the weight of sterling. If they tried to fly with it, it would be too heavy. Also, think of powdered sterling that dentists etc use. It’s medicine. Many people are selling their family silver for pennies on the $ with cash. No one is going to question you if you fly with several pieces in your luggage. Think of wrapping a cake fork or candle stick holders as wedding presents.

The card is always from a different provider to my bank, so hopefully my bank has no idea what I'm buying . I have bank accounts from 11 banks and 3 credit cards , ive never closed s bank account down i still have the one i opened up at school . You have to close unused credit cards though as that can screw your credit file up.
