Drive a 2008 LE V8 4 x 4. Second owner, no accidents, never off road. Have a CIA and Bully Dog tuner and produce about 335 hp, 405 tq. Same transmission as the V6, but different clutch packs. Beefed up drivetrain of course. Installed inner coil airbags in the rear for about $100 and provides further diving stability. Pulls like a train, extremely smooth, and refined. Performed routine and proactive maintenance and after almost 4 years of ownership and 159k on the clock, it's been extremely reliably. Gonna move out of her soon, she's getting older, I'm getting older, lol. If anyone's interested I anticipate Feb or March, depending on the used car market.
Just picked up a 2011 Pathfinder, high miles, but well maintained according to Carfax. It's in great shape, but very stock. I have owned nothing but Tacos and 4Runners so Nissan is new to me. Thanks for showing your upgrades.
Just picked up an 08 LE V8 4x4. Currently running 3" Nisstec Extended travel kit on 35's. Seriously debating on ditching the rear setup for a M226 with the E-Locker. I've got a M205 with ARB and 4.10's already so just not sure what route to go. So far the only gear set for the R200 I can find are from Rugged for $1,100 which is tad bit out of the budget.
Great video and thanks for the share. I want clarification on the front spacers, is it because the design of the rim that you needed the spacer to clear the caliper?
I have the same car le v8 completely stock except for blistein 4600 front and back. New dealer control arms and its not comfortable i hit bumps and its ruff. Is that the normal ride im trying to figure out if something needs to get changed
I have a Pro4X Xterra. When you hook up the electric locker, don't do it like the Xterra. I can only lock it in low range. I would like to be able to lock it whenever I want. I'm trying to figure out how to bypass the locking only in low range problem.
I have 265-65-18s on my V8 SE with Moog springs all around ( almost stock. they give a half inch to one inch lift) Maybe its possible to go bigger but I'd be worried about rubbing
33s on stock offset wheels with the backside of the front fender liner melted and pushed in to allow clearance. May still rub a little full lock and compressed offroad.

I will say this, the 4.0 in mine seems so much more peppy than my 4.0 in the 4Runner.
Yes these vehicles are gems.
Nice!
We’re running the same setup when it comes to diffs and tires.
Is the rear-end conversion something you do at your shop?

Hows the stock gear ratio while crawling on 37s?
Stock steering no problem running 37s?
Most likely very horrible. 3.36 on 37s are better than 2.94 on 33s imo.
