Something truly “DAD” about how the exterior is destroyed and yet the roll cage is immaculately integrated into the interior plastics and the leather interior is spotless.
You’re much braver than I. I’m solid axle swapping my R51 currently but I’m going leaf spring like That Nissan Guy. I’m using a Titan e-locker axle though. I’ve already done the VK56 swap, Titan swapped the front, and now on to the rear axle. Mine is an 06 Off-road originally so I had to get the V8 first. I’m obsessed with my Pathfinder for the same reasons. Glad I’m not the only one. lol
@@cooperconceptsWould you mind sharing some pics of your front setup? How did you get the super duty steering in there? The steering shaft is so close to the upper control arm mount and not much room between the motor and the mount. I’m going to 4 link the rear now instead of leaf and want to solid swap the front now after seeing yours.
Great build! Love to see things done to the Pathfinder platform. Your Rhino Rack mounts are very interesting. How and where can I find some more information about it? Would love to lower mine a bit. Best wishes from Germany!
Wait so that was a VK56 V8 swap right? I was a Nissan guy and only.leaning toward Toyotas for their 2UZ V8s. I agree with the Body on Frame vs Unibody approach as well
Very nice, I've always been curious how hard it would be to swap an Xterra, frontier, or even a titan rear end into a r51 pathfinder, I'd like to do one up as it's bigger than my Xterra, just don't care for the independent rear end in them.

Lmao!! Gotta keep it clean!
Gonna check out any new videos! Sick build! From the Xterra Side
Always a pleasure seeing this build.
Wow, very cleanly done. Looks amazing.
Thank you!
Amazing rig!
Thank you!

That’s awesome to hear! Good luck with the build!

I built the mounts myself because I couldn’t find anything I liked
If you were to do it again, would you just start with an Xterra since it already has a solid rear axle? Or was the third row critical for you?
The third row was a must when I bought this truck. Plus putting a solid axle under the rear isn’t very hard on this truck.
Any chance of selling a kit for the rear SAS conversion? Or a DIY kit with detailed instructions?
I doubt it. Just hard to find the time to produce a kit. I’ll answer any questions you might have and help all I can though.

2008-2011 had a VK56 option from the factory
Don’t swap this one it came with the VK56. But swapping from the 4.0 to the vk56 is pretty easy
Where did you get the tees for the brake pressure sensors?
Found them on Amazon
Square Metric Tee M12 M12X1 M12X1.0 Female Inverted Flare Fitting bolt hole Brake a.co/d/5dtH4Fw
Thank you. I followed your build on instagram. Outstanding work.
Thank you!
could you link where you got the rack from?
Sure thing. www.rhinorack.com/en-us/products/roof-racks/platforms-and-baskets/pioneer-platforms
What steering rack did you go with ?
Steering is all custom the hydro assist ram is from PSC
When are you doing the 4speed Atlas? Haha
Oh man!! I wish!! I’d love to do a 6 spd swap with a 4spd atlas!!!

It’s not too bad. There’s another guy on Instagram that did his with leafs springs. Check out That Nissan guy on IG
Josh, call Yukon about the rear chromo axles, they have them now.
Thank you!! I’ll definitely check them out!
Any chance that you are selling?
I have sold it already. Didn’t want to but sometimes life hits you like that.
