The U is my pick because they've never recovered from the loss to Georgia Tech in 2005. Calvin Johnson and Roman Reigns were on Georgia tech at the time.
While I feel you, bro, it’s been 11 years. If Alabama and Buckeyes fans want to do their first run in the game with their favorite team, that seems okay
If I know someone is an actual fan of a college team I cannot fault them for going with their team. It just kind of lessens their experience or shortens it. Edit: for reference I do not have a favorite college team like I have a favorite NFL team that I am a devout fan of. I don't even really have one college team that I root for. But I'm aware there are those that do and by all means they should be able to play with their team.
Facts that is so lame and shows those creators did no research to at least look at the rosters let alone anything else. I saw some dude do a video exactly how you mentioned about a week ago and I was disgusted by the repetitiveness of those two statements.
I always try to make sure the content over on my channel is something I'd be willing to watch. I don't want to waste a viewer's time because I know how frustrating that gets
Coastal Carolina is the team im gonna rock with, newer team in FBS but with potential. A teal field, beautiful jerseys, a party atmosphere on Myrtle Beach whats not to love? Surprised they werent on this video being in the sun belts east division, games vs JMU and App State gonna be fun!!
I'm just play as Kansas, simply so I can yell, "Cobee!" When I throw it to Cobee Bryant. I also love the idea of making Cobee Bryant a Heisman candidate/winner
I am doing Virginia Tech, always my favorite school as a kid, on a bit of a downturn as of recent. But I remember that team with Tyrod Taylor, Eddie Royal and Josh Morgan, with Cam Chancellor on the other side of the ball. I want to build a team like that. I am also really hoping we hear the cannon firing every time they score (extra points included), that was a jump scare for 11 year old me at the miami game. I was ready for the one for the touchdown, then the Extra point one made me jump through my seat
Josh Flowers was committed to Mississippi state, but after the coaching change, they went in a different direction. He's a good player who is in what I believe a good situation for him.
Great insight as always, GGB! Gonna throw this out there as a cool mid-tier rebuild team: Iowa Hawkeyes. They seem to be that team always on the cusp and get some upsets here and there yet then lose the easy games they should’ve walked. Classic “always the bridesmaid, never the bride” situation. Last won a championship in 1960, and last won the Big Ten in 2004. They’re known for a stellar D, but their offense is notably abysmal - and teams tend to exploit that a lot. Having to potentially play Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, and the incoming USC and UCLA sets up a challenging road to get to the top, they have a fun rivalry with Iowa State every year for Floyd of Rosedale, and The Wave has become one of (if not the best) fan traditions in college sports.
I have a rebuild with Rice University in year 3. They have a 98 speed Freshman WR to develop. A Senior RB that is a stud to help year 1. I have them from a 1 star program up to 3.5. We won the national championship in year 2 on All American Difficulty. Moving up to Heisman year 3.
@@alaricjackson6520 their uniforms are that bad actually lol i just dislike the white C helmets from early 2000s still, the red white n blue looks good
Going to roll with Florida. Haven’t been good in a few years and have an absolutely brutal schedule. Plus plying in the SEC with Texas and Oklahoma now is gonna he insanely hard
Great video. Lots of interesting stats and info and a natural delivery. I used to create Kennesaw State in NCAA 14, put em in the Sun Belt, run a Pistol-Option offense, and a 4-2-5 defense. Now, I get to actually use them in Dynasty Mode after 11 years. Can't wait. 🦉
I’m an OU fan so I’ll definitely establish their place as a top 3 all time program by conquering the SEC, but Nebraska is the most intriguing team to play dynasty mode with to me. They are a traditional blue blood that has been hibernating for 2 decades or more. They have a large, loyal, and rabid fan base every bit as invested in football as any SEC team. They haven’t tasted a national or conference championship in almost thirty years and they are THIRSTY.
boise state is in the same boat as memphis. fight to be the GO5 school in the playoffs then transfer to a P4 conference then rebuild what will likely be a low-mid team in that conference to one of the best and then national champion contender
TOLEDO ROCKETS WERE SO FREAKING FUN. With 22 seniros leaving your first year its a serious challenge. Im 92/92 offense and defense, 4 national championships and have dominated after year 2. Year 1 dont even attempt anything over a 3 star
Great video. I liked that you touched upon the change in recruiting with the more in depth recruiting markets. For that reason I am looking at ASU in the Big 12. Going to have to start with a team that has low ratings compared to most of the conference but you will have the Phoenix market locally as well as the neighboring California markets and their new pipeline into Texas thanks to their Big 12 membership. They have great uniform combos and solid stadium to play in. I am also looking at Georgia State or Kennesaw State in the Atlanta area for the same reason. Very intrigued to see how the new market recruiting will work so having a team in one of those major markets is a must for me in my first dynasty. Kennesaw State may end up being the most chosen first Dynasty in the game. Georgia State gives a nice alternative option in the Atlanta market. GSU has some decent uniform options and what may be the most interesting stadium in the conference. The Sun Belt is a great starting conference. With GSU I like the idea of moving GSU up into higher conferences and feeling like the name fits in with those school line ups. A team called Georgia State just sounds like they deserve to be higher up.
Do not sleep on how fun it would be to build THE University of Kentucky into a powerhouse in the SEC. Uniforms are fire. A lot of stars on that team right now that people do not talk about. Again, already in the SEC. Great pipline states. I could keep going....
Arkansas State was the move, I was in the marching band at UCA when we beat them on their turf a few years back. The fountains are beautiful bro, and other than a close loss to Michigan, I’ve had some of the best games ever. Sunbelt all the way
You mentioned the idea of recruiting regions to build pipeline. I'm super intrigued on the strategy there. Can you make a video on this or point us in the direction of a video you've already made? Thx in advance.
We may not be underrated or in need of a rebuild but making Iowa State a powerhouse like Bama or OSUs of the world will be the most exciting thing. Roll Clones!!
Great video complete with suggestions, names, unis and stadiums. For me, I want to rebuild a team that used to be powerful when I was a big fan back in the day. A team like University of Miami, Tennessee, or Nebraska (yes, I'm old). I want a team that can compete on the recruiting front if I can win games on the field.
I also like the idea of restoring some historically great colleges to their former glory. Schools like Miami Nebraska and Notre Dame. While their rosters will be a lot better than the ones you listed its more about the storytelling. Especially for Notre Dame who will be very good in the game but across the last decade they've been in championship games/playoff appearances but keep coming up short. Or not falling apart in the 2nd half of the season during ACC play with Miami like theyve been doing recently
Definitely agree. I focused more on "underrated" squads but there are so many schools that haven't won that need some help. Crazy to think it's been 23 years since Miami last won a natty!
Oregon Statr and Washington State will be my first 2. Just the storyline of finding a new conference and rebuilding in the new era of scouting is gonna be fun.
My first ever dynasty in this game is going to be the Buckeyes bc I'm a Columbus native and it's been 11 years since we got one of these games brand new...but my first rebuild is going to be an Adventure Time themed created team I plan to make with a bunch of cupcakes lol. Either that, or Coastal Carolina bc I love that teal field!
My go to is I like to start with Hawai'i, awesome jerseys and colors, cool location, and they're usually pretty bad making for a challenging build. From there I work my way up, spurning all job offers unless/until my favorite team, Alabama, offers me. Which is usually by the time I've won a couple championships with Hawai'i and I know they'll be okay without me. In NCAA 14 I had some epic championship showdowns against my former Hawai'i players as Alabama.
Let’s go Charlotte!! It’s crazy that one of the big donors to the school didn’t want a football team. As soon as she passed away they announced they were going to introduce a football team
finally a list that isn’t filled with 1 star teams. so many creators are posting about all these nobody ass schools because they’re a challenge but like damn, idrc about it always being the biggest challenge, sometimes i want to be spoiled with a cool stadium and uniforms with the possibility of some crazy recruits! not gonna get that only play kent state and other doodoo tier teams
I think I will be doing Kent State in all honesty. Big time challenge and they lost five starters on the offensive side. Plus, it won’t be fast to likely get really good recruits to turn them around faster. It will likely take time to build them there too.
I'm thinking University of Miami. Solid team, great recruiting potential, championship history, a fan base that is churning to get back to championship glory. I can lead them there.
i doing kennesaw state as their OC and see what happens and then i’ll do a Texas rebuild since theoretically they have all assets and a huge talent pool to be a dynasty
One thing I do is I will start as a offensive coordinator at a 5 or 4 star school and then I will stay 1-2 seasons and then get a head coaching job at a 1 or 2 star school to do my rebuild
I think UVA is a great power 5 pick to rebuild. Had recent success under a different coach, making the Orange bowl. Then they underwent a coaching change and in the new coach’s first season, three players were shot and killed on a class trip. The team lost almost all of its starters the following season due to the tragedy. They are now in the midst of a major rebuild, coming off a 3-9 season with the same coach who courageously led the team through the tragedy.
I would add Georgia Southern University. I used to have to take FCS team back in the day. Now real and in the game with dynamic offense that has left the flex-bone in the past thank goodness. 100 degree days in the stands to watch 3 yards and cloud of dust was tough back in mid 90s
Madden is kind of lackluster when it comes to the natural environment around a stadium, but hoping stadiums like Kidd Brewer or Husky Stadium get the justice they deserve.
Picking UGA first because it’s been over a decade since I’ve been able to play with my favorite team in a new college game. Then I’m planning on doing a Kennesaw State and Georgia Southern (Alma mater) dynasty after the first big patch. Like Gundy so I’ll probably do an Ok State dynasty at some point too.
I'm doing Washington State first. Yeah, they're my favorite team, but there's also a cool opportunity to rebuild the PAC-12 or join another conference.
Great review) but for me it's about the atmosphere I need that atmosphere in a college stadium + those fans + with those fight songs enchants to keep Me hyped up ... Don't care too much about uniform colors it's about the atmosphere (That NCAA COLLEGE atmosphere) .. THANK YOU EA SPORTS 🏆🏆🏆🏆 IT'S IN THE GAME 🎮🎯
