I love Brownstones, Townhomes and Row Houses. From the time I was a kid I always got a good feeling when I saw these types of houses. If there is such a thing as past lives, I wonder if I lived a happy life in one of theses homes. Having said that at 57 my dream of owning one of these homes became a reality. I bought mine back in 1993 and fixing it and maintaining it has been a labor of love and as I expected, I love living here and will never leave. Having said that this house is frigging amazing!!!
My husband always says that we are only the caretakers of a home for the next family. Leave it better then when you bought it. I love seeing beautiful old homes that have been kept up or restored such as this brownstone.
A unique home in that it hasn’t been gutted on the inside. Not TOTALLY stripped of period details like so many older homes have been. A property that probably sold for multi, multi millions.
I grew up playing in all of the backyards in Park Slope... I grey up one block down from Prospect Park. We "Who grew up in Park Slope" had the privilege of being able to live a block away from Prospect Park and in Park Slope there are so many homes brownstones which are incredibly beautiful just like this one and it's obvious this one has some upgrades it still has its original structure and feel. If you're fortunate to live in Park Slope very few families and people move out. The memories I have walking from Smileys Pizza to Flatbush alone almost every Sunday, I would watch CBS Sunday morning then go with my best friends and their mom & dad to Church at Saint Saviors. Again, Park Slope continues to be a solid foundation for many families of all races to raise their children. If you're fortunate enough to experience being raised in my neighborhood then God Bless you!.
One of my favorite channels, always go here for the little tunes in the background I couldn’t find this one though. I like the name of the neighborhood park slope
OMG I am so in love with this beautiful home! Nobody there that's lucky enough to be able to live there. Will never fight over the bathrooms when they really have to use them. That's crazy cool having 2 laundry rooms to do your laundry.
Agree with the other commenter, amazing camerawork (and pacing)!!! 👏🏻👏🏻 Love that each bedroom suite has a unique special standout feature (balcony, bay windows, really nice closets) so you don't feel like the main one got all the love and the rest are an afterthought. Beautiful home!
when i touch old things i always think of the hands that touched it in the beginning- the hands that crafted it, used it, cared for it. snd i am connected to them.
Absolutely beautiful home, some minor change. Location nice, most of all in summer a backyard to chill. Happy days to whoever buys this 4 bedroom lovely house
Stunning. Can’t stand when people paint every single wood feature white. Especially entire staircases. Very happy to see this retain natural color. Dreamy floors on parlor and that porch off the first bedroom. I mean wow. I could go on!
This house is beautiful. I wish I could own a home like this. New York city is crazy expensive to live in. If I had the money I would spend it on a house like this. I have seen some real dumps that they changed outrageous prices for. This house is modern and up to date. It's a beautiful house anyone would be proud of.
My grandparents owed a brownstone house on Sterling Place back in the 60s. They sold it sometime in the late 70s. If they hadn't sold it, it probably would've been worth so much more than what they paid for it!
Yes that's the story of Brooklyn...now more desirable than Manhattan. A friend of mine has the same story - his home there is now worth in the millions$ !!!
Lovely home. Neat and simple but still reflecting 1899. I think some of the modern fixtures take away from it though. Lots of closet space and 2 washers and 2 dryers WOW ! Now that’s luxury! No lugging laundry up and down stairs. Liked that! No parking and while this type of house is typical New York, I’d like to know about the security. And did each bedroom have a bathroom in 1899? I wonder if and I wonder how much size was taken from the bedrooms? Nice and convenient though.

I’ve always loved these too!
Reading your message has really made my day. Gid willing, when I buy and renovate my house, I wish to convey the same message. Love to all 🧡🤗
Yes. The mastery that went into home building back then bears the hallmark of true craftsmanship.
The coolest Brownstone ive ever seen
My husband always says that we are only the caretakers of a home for the next family. Leave it better then when you bought it. I love seeing beautiful old homes that have been kept up or restored such as this brownstone.
Your husband sounds very wise.
I love this ❤
Same here
Lovely home. The owners & realty company had good sense to leave many original features & layout while providing thoughtful but, practical updates.
Imagine growing up here and having one of the front bedrooms. Those bay windows are to die for

this presenter did a flawless and perfect panoramic view of the entire building that was amazing to watch.
Beautiful. Love how they kept the character, but with modern touches
Incredible house! Excellent camera work. You filmed it like we would look at everything. Enormous and just incredible house.
One of my favorite channels, always go here for the little tunes in the background I couldn’t find this one though.
I like the name of the neighborhood park slope
Incredible home. The fact that it feels like a “regular” sized home but based in Park Slope is amazing. Probably went for a crazy price

Beautifully renovated. And all those closets and bathroom! And no laundry in basement!

That's the way to live in New York...dream home I could never afford ...but lucky for the people that live there now.
