As someone who grew up in a hoader home, she is not a hoarder. That's a psychological state in which the person hold onto things out of anxiety but also hates the conditions in which they leave. She enjoys her clutter, and it is clear that she cares for her items and places them with intention.
As a renter though, acquiring that much stuff means you don't plan on moving ever. If the rent goes up, she'll have to eat it. Because moving that much stuff would be an endeavor.
@anitavirginillo Minimalist is boring and requires no creativity or thought... like plain Vanilla vs rainbow sherbet with sprinkles and a cherry on top, difference! 😂😂😂
Loft spaces are ideal if you want to display collections of big art pieces, tapestries, rugs or quilts, and in Chyelle's world, chairs. Love the elevated platform built for storage. In a way, her home looks cozy to me. Love that her adorable kitty has plenty of space to run around in.
Amazing space filled with beautiful art while at the same time jumbled and disorganized . Its giving college dorm on steroids I’ve seen other artists lofts that look fabulous, and I don’t mean “expensive” just fabulously put together.
She has her own taste. She is able to live on a loft and place all of her things and still feels free to move around in her own home without walking on top of her items in a clean place. Goodness gracious it’s her place!
I love a home that is also your studio/creative space so there's no boundary between living and creating. One flows into the other seamlessly. So cool!
Very homely and she’s made use of every square inch of space. I’d place a rectangular rug in front of the sofa to make it even more of a snug area, and a rectangular glass-topped coffee table on top of the rug would look gorgeous too. Well done!
I absolutely adore this loft. I think I could move in tomorrow and not change a thing. There is something about eclectic homes which is just so comforting.
You know when people enter your home and say "that's so you"? This is the same vibe i got from this apartment tour. Each piece she takes finds a home in her apartment, looking like it's meant to be there. I love the apartment. and as a painter myself, I love how she puts all her work out. Thr apartment is realistic, loved, and lived in 💕
It’s fun to see what people do with their spaces. While I appreciate the creativity and spirit of this space, I would go mad with what feels like to me.😂
She has amazingly great taste! I would love to be invited to one of her parties just so I could ogle the great furniture. I also have one of the IKEA lamps. I love it! It's on a glass bedside table I found on the sidewalk near my home.
I very much liked the first video of this apartment, found the deco genius, but today much less. It looked very cluttered and I liked the previous living room setting better. But it's truly a great space I would love to live in.
i also have bohemian style decore and a studio apartment, but just less messy looking, there is just so much stuff all arond. maybe its her style, good for her but to me its just very busy, cluttered and looks more like a second hand furniture shop than a home. looks more like a hoardet home. but hey, most important that she is happy there. but how much stuff person really needs, at the end of the day person need so little.
I think it looks very organized and neat, not messy at all but eclectic. Cluttered in a cozy way. I am a huge fan of maximalist and artsy appartements in general though.
Looove the aesthetics and coordination of this loft, however i don't think 10x13' its a "massive" bedroom, maybe for NY it is? Anyway i envy her creative eye to put things together ❤
I always look forward to Apartment Therapy but this is the first time I could not get through the whole video-the background music was so distracting! I had to fast forward. Too bad it looks like such a lovely place.
I swear I’ve seen this one before…. I’m wondering if people in NYC have to make three times their rent…. One person making 10k a month is crazy. I want to know how to get a job like that.
It looks like how the loft would have looked before conversion if run by a junk yard. How do you clean it? Shame it’s a great space and one could do something fantastic with it.
Many of us think this is a fantastic use of space. She made the space what she wanted because she is the one living there. Remember that this channel is to showcase different styles. There is no wrong way to decorate your own home.
With a space of that magnitude she could have created a large dining area for comfort and visual balance. The boxed step up loft in the current dining area created more clutter and unevenness for the guests It should come natural to a real artist to maneuver a space and create balance. Yes no ?
Love this space for her, she clearly loves it and has a lot of joy in her space. And there are lot of really cool creative ideas. It's not for me. The thought of dusting in this place makes me sweat.
I LOVE her maximalism. But she has about 5 dead plants, plants with leaf burn or root rot. So I just need for her to learn how to take care of her plant babies
I love the loft and I'm enjoying the tour but unfortunately that background music is fighting her every inch of the way. I hate to put it on mute because I'd like to hear what she says but that music is like oil and vinegar drowning her out.

It’s called maximalism.
This is way too organized to be a hoarder
As a renter though, acquiring that much stuff means you don't plan on moving ever. If the rent goes up, she'll have to eat it. Because moving that much stuff would be an endeavor.
“Do something that is true to yourself” 100% the best advice for making your space your home 🏡
ABSOLUTELY 💯 PERCENT ❤
I agree.
this is seriously one of the most gorgeous spaces i've ever seen! she is an amazing artist in all sorts of different mediums, WOW!
I love her honesty about loft living.
So do I.
Love the energy and uniqueness of this space. Down with minimalism!
I agree, its a great space, but aint nothing wrong with minimalism :)
@anitavirginillo Minimalist is boring and requires no creativity or thought... like plain Vanilla vs rainbow sherbet with sprinkles and a cherry on top, difference! 😂😂😂
@@anitavirginilloIt's ALL good though 🎉😂❤
I love maximalism
I love the apartment. It is well thought out and complex. I also love the very active kitty.

Such great taste. She has so many fun pieces and has put them together in such a cohesive way.
That's a tough space to work with, imo. No idea how she pulled this off, it's so gorgeous!! ❤ P.S. Please continue painting, you're so good!
Awesomely unique loft & sweet cat. Love this woman’s vivacity.
A lot of stuff, but it doesn't look cluttered. All her plants look so healthy. Green thumb envy.
mmmm
You are an amazing painter! Don't give up creating! Keep on!!!! I love your portraits
When I think of "NYC chic" - Chyelle and this apartment is my ideal. #Kudos
Amazing space filled with beautiful art while at the same time jumbled and disorganized .
Its giving college dorm on steroids
I’ve seen other artists lofts that look fabulous, and I don’t mean “expensive” just fabulously put together.
Gorgeous apartment and love her fantastic ideas! Thank you for sharing.
Every time this video shows up in my feed, I can't help but watch it. I love the sunny, chaotic beauty of it all.

Lovely place! Lovely cat!❤
It's interesting, that's for sure! Great for artists. I'm a minimalist so it was hard to watch 😅but good for her, she's enjoying it!
Agree! It would be a great space for all of the plants I have, but the clutter set me on edge.
The koya plushies!! 💜
💜💜💜
Beautiful video, beautiful home. Beautiful beautiful artist girl.
I absolutely adore this loft. I think I could move in tomorrow and not change a thing. There is something about eclectic homes which is just so comforting.
CREATIVITY OVERLOAD🎉🎉🎉
In the best way possible...
You go Girl... this definitely checks all the boxes ❤❤❤
Cool loft! Love her decorating style & the cat so cute! 🐈
I love artist's homes so so much 😍
Thank you for showing your gorgeous loft. Its your space so you can do whatever you want. I love the colors, how its set up. Thank again for sharing.
Das ist ein schöner Ratschlag . ❤
Immer sich selbst treu bleiben.
Eine so schöne Wohnung 🥰
She seems very artsy and fun. I'm more of a minimalist so I wouldn't want as many things in my home, but I still very much like her style.
You know when people enter your home and say "that's so you"? This is the same vibe i got from this apartment tour. This reminds me of my sons loft..AMAZING! He had one for awhile. Yours is stunning!😊
absolutely my kind of home ...such a good vibe xxxxxx
Amazing collection of things and what a fun way to display everything
I absolutely love her roommates wall mural 😍 Her whole apartment is gorgeous!
Twelve fascinating minutes. Thank you, Chyelle.
Great artist and cool item collector, love all the plants and cats! ❤
Ugh I adore Chyelle such a great taste in furniture
This is by the best space I’ve seen!
Great space. I love how I’m the master the mirror reflects the painted wall. Nice job with everything!
Love this fabulous apt. Very bohemian style, this is so me !!
Loved the loft and the relatable personality. I bought an open concept loft style house in NY. This gives me ideas to decorate it😊
This is such a fun and awesome space. I absolutely love it. New life goal unlocked. Find a really cool loft and make it my home.
Your artwork is beautiful and I love your chair collection.
It’s fun to see what people do with their spaces. While I appreciate the creativity and spirit of this space, I would go mad with what feels like to me.😂
Love looking at it and all the beautiful possessions, but I just couldn't live amongst such maximalism. I would find it exhausting. But good for her.
Amazing! It's a place where imagination knows no bounds and inspiration thrives. ❤❤
Love it. A bit of a pain to clean, but worth it.
She has amazingly great taste! I would love to be invited to one of her parties just so I could ogle the great furniture. I also have one of the IKEA lamps. I love it! It's on a glass bedside table I found on the sidewalk near my home.
This might be my favorite episode.
This is one of the most electic apartments that I have ever seen!
Such an interesting place. Love it!
I’m so jealous, I love this apartment!
Yea, to be young and live in a loft in NY. Pretty suave. Next thing is the second house in upstate NY. Yea, pretty cool.
Great place. I would never let it go.
Uwielbiam tak twórczych ludzi. Fantazja i brak reguł to jest to! Też tak mam, dekorowanie mojego mieszkania nigdy się nie kończy🙂
Beautiful ❤

Opposite of my taste, I feel overwhelmed my the colors styles. Not my aesthetic but is definitely a vibe. I love the couch though.
Totally obsessed w/ your place!!!!! Beautiful 💕💕
Love this apartment!
So inspiring😊
Wow very poetic 😍
It's very visually clutter. I feel claustrophobic looking at her space. Although have to say, this space looks lived in and reminds me of Hong Kong.
Interesting space but far too messy for me.
I think it looks very organized and neat, not messy at all but eclectic. Cluttered in a cozy way.
I am a huge fan of maximalist and artsy appartements in general though.
I love it ❤
It's great!!!!❤
Awesome! I want to be friend with her. I'll bring wine and cheese to the cooking parties 😂🍷👍🏼
You have a lot of stuff to clean.😂😂😂😂❤
Yes, that part but it's beautiFULL and obviously she doesn't mind!!!
@@Sweetiesplanet I agree it's beautiful but she has a lot of stuff to clean.😂😂😂All love ❤️

Idk why anyone would think of this place as messy. This would be me at my maximum effort cleanlines
That’s a great price for the space. I love it❤

yes I've seen this place before, maybe on another channel. Or maybe she changed things
Love your wallpaper. Where is it from?

I luv this
Amazing is all i can say
Love this space for her, she clearly loves it and has a lot of joy in her space. And there are lot of really cool creative ideas.
It's not for me. The thought of dusting in this place makes me sweat.
How warm does it get in summer and how cold does it get in winter?
Love the space.. too cluttered tho.
Thank you for the video!
Muy. Original pero mucho q limpiar 😮
Must be challenging to clean the place...
I’m noticing these home tours are not showing bathrooms. Is that a thing?
Nice space. I bit too much stuff for my taste. Love all the art though
❤❤❤❤
I LOVE her maximalism. But she has about 5 dead plants, plants with leaf burn or root rot. So I just need for her to learn how to take care of her plant babies
This is really 😍 lovely. I guess i can befriend the house owner. i feel her. That's what i mean.
I love the loft and I'm enjoying the tour but unfortunately that background music is fighting her every inch of the way. I hate to put it on mute because I'd like to hear what she says but that music is like oil and vinegar drowning her out.
So glad the music was lowered for the rest of the tour.
I feel like this apartment was featured years ago? The previous gal airbnb’ed the other two bedrooms and had a swing in the living room.
Are you thinking of The Funk Little Loft? If so, not the same. But I also feel like I saw this one before.
Gah, the music editor needs a lesson on appropriate background music levels. This was so annoying to watch. What a fun space to live in though.
Looks like a hoarder or a storage unit. Vermin must love this apartment.
Thats why she has a cat
Very interesting apartment I enjoyed it but could not listen to the whole thing because the music was driving me bonkers
Please keep painting
This is rewind, right? I've seen this apartment already. :(
paying this much for this is craziness
