I cook 2 cups of water for every cup of rice salt oil and my bring to boil on medium high uncovered once the water is evaporated cover on low for 5 to 10 min and boom rice
1) korran momma style is used in most restaurants too bc the rice cooker is huge and its q waste of time measuring water out. 2) def too much water if you do that 1.5 line method in your finger tho - that rice looked too wet imho
My mom made boil in a bag rice my life so I grew up and learned to make it on my own and she's stuck in her ways even though she loves my rice she won't learn but it's not hard once you Learn it you won't have to measure I don't
I don’t know how to cook rice but I know how to burn it. That being said maybe you didn’t add enough water or your stove top runs a little hot so you may need to boil for 10 minutes at a lower temperature at the start

Rinse rice... ADD One cup of rice to 1.75 to2 cups of water.. bring rice to boil.. set timer for 12 min with rice set on low with a lid.. boom perfect rice EVERYTIME

Koreans use short grain rice. I'm Korean. I use Calrose rice.
Don't pour your rice starch down the drain. Save it for washing your hair & adding to your skincare routine.
