Overall, I like the Civic Hybrid a lot. The lack of vents and power adapters in the rear is inexcusable, though. Honda is really cheapening out on things consumers expect to be standard and would not even have raised the cost to build by very much. Why does Honda think Sport models of the Accord and Civic don't need rear comforts?

I love that new blue color with the light interior. But I am sad it appears there is no heated steering wheel. Also, I wonder if Honda finally gave the car proper tire pressure sensors, like all the other manufacturers. The price gap with the new Camry is getting tight, and I may lean that way. Feel like you may get more for the money.

    • @DkpProductions

Honda uses wheel speed sensors by the wheel bearings to calculate tire pressure instead of TPMS sensors... Unfortunately I think it's going to be like that for a long time

Looks nice. Not sure why they skimped out on not having lumbar support. For those who want most of the comfort of an Accord but don't need an ocean liner, this would fit the bill. Still not over excited about the lack of a spare. Tire repair kits are dandy until you gash a tire and have to wait not only for a tow, but for a tire shop to open, before you can move your car. They did this on the CRV too. Honda hasn't figured out how to package a hybrid system with a spare tire yet. The power is in Civic Si range, but I suspect it has gained weight too. The real test will be the drive. Hope they worked on a good suspension. If they can make a nice handling hybrid, that would create their own unique niche (in the affordable car range).

This is a grand slam for Honda no doubt. Its gonna be much faster than the Corolla hybrid, has more leg room, better styling (imo), has very good mpg, better handling, better tech/infotainment, better audio, and much more cargo room with the hatchback. Although its a slight let down with the lack of rear AC vents or rear USB-c ports. And the hump in the rear leg room area is a little too big (imo).

Camry will not give 50 mpg. And civic is little short so easy to maneuver. Camry is costly. Hope civic is better priced to compete

@@naturelover6571Lol what?! You can get a Camry LE for $29,595, and it will get you 53/50 mpg, with 51 mpg combined! You can add a few amenities/features like a power moonroof, power driver’s seat, and heated front seats and leather wrapped steering wheel for $32,125. And you get a spare tire and better LED projector beam headlights.

@@DkpProductions you’re over 6ft. You don’t need a Civic. This isn’t even in the same class as a Camry, Refer to Accord videos.
