I am Japanese. In Japan, a minor change to the Civic is scheduled for September, but I am confused by the information that the North American version of the Civic (the Civic in this video), which was announced earlier than in Japan, does not have a rear charging port and rear air vents. Are the rear charging port and rear air vents not installed on all grades of both the new Civic sedan and hatchback? Or is it possible to add them as an option? Please let me know as there is little information available.

You guys need to do a driving comparison between the new Accord and the new Camry and figure out which is more fun to drive. They both have gotten a little sportier, and the reason you guys are the ones to do it is because you have a 330 which is probably the standard for fun to drive in a sedan. Compare them to each other, then compare them to the BMW.
At the Touring trim level , it appears that Honda has removed the homelink system, rear USB ports and for the hybrid trims, the spare tire. I know this is a prototype vehicle review, but if those three items are not on the production versions of the Sport Touring, Honda has done some de-contenting to reduce production costs.

I care more about Homelink than the rear USB ports and I can't believe that instead of making a car packed with more features, they are actually quietly removing them.

Totally agreed. With this refresh, Honda is currently running 3+ inches extra per class in sedans, 6+ in hatchbacks, and 6 in midsized sedans (which granted at this point they're nearly alone so I guess they get to define the class). What's the sound level reading guys?
It looks like the older accord.
Built-in Google isn't impressive. Having a spare tire is.
Honda makes good reliable cars, but neither them nor Toyota are my taste.
Welcome to the terrible Montreal roads.
I wondered why a car company would choose to launch a vehicle here. If these guys think it rides very good here they'll think it rides like a limousine when they try it on a real road.
Why would anyone go with civic over camry?
Literally no reason
Nice car eh?
Hybrids are more expensive to maintain.
Isn’t it the most STOLLEN CAR IN CANADA !
No that’s the f150. The old civic type r hatchback and the si are stolen. No one is going to steal a hybrid civic.
🙂👍
This desperately needs an update.
Toyota used to be the practical, fuel efficient vehicles with boring design and disappointing tech but it looks like Honda has taken that title… except they are still more expensive 😂
You would be wrong.
Honda looks much much better than Toyota.
@@nevada900yup and for the dealerships around me Honda markups are less than Toyota markups too. It sucks that they both still have markups though.
Just my opinion but I think this Civic looks way better than the Corolla.
@@chrissimmons9969 I put this Civic on comparison to the Camry because the price is so similar
The camry and corollas are numb, and boring cars to drive. I'd much rather trade a few miles for a better driving and feeling overall car.
Are they getting Subaru to design the exterior...because this car is blandiose looking. What a departure from the simple sleek designs of the gen. 8 and gen 9. cars
So bland and boring, inside and out.
Wicked bad!
Nice car , way overpriced. Get real honda.
Life is too short to drive boring cars like this
where is your Bugatti then??
This car is so boring!!!! A 7 inch screen??? A 9 inch screen is the upgrade???? No rear vents??? You got to be cray cray to buy this car!!!! I’m falling asleep rn!!! Honda best step up that game boo boo!!!!!!!
So this compact car with lesser economy, lesser power, lesser space and lesser tech is more expensive than the Toyota Camry ? 😂😂😂
No wonder honda will have to discontinue this civic hybrid just like they did with insight many timed😂😂😂
Dumb argument.. worst designs on Toyota and cheap materials high dealer markups.. i’d have to say Ppl are definitely 🐑… im not sure what are you even expecting here .. 100 MPG?
@@harrytej stfu... Can't u comprehend the fact that civic hybrid is an abomination
Civic comes fully loaded for 2k less, Camry LE comes with almost nothing standard and only gets 2 more mpg. Ill take the fully loaded sport hybrid civic all day with that comparison.
No rear HVAC no usb ports no spare tire pricing in camry territory 🫣
