When you walk up to a motorcycle it should make you smile……Royal Enfield makes me smile in all areas. Styling, performance, comfort, color selection and most of all price and value…….Royal Enfield is knocking it out of the park.
Solid video. i got to ride their 650 twin last fall at a demo day. It was stronger than i thought it was going to be. Do I need one? no. Was it fun? absolutely. nice work.
@williesummers9141 I love it. It's my first bike. The power to weight ratio pretty much makes it impossible for me to jerk the throttle. Which I was having trouble with during the msf course using Harleys x350s. I still don't like those bikes. My knee was actually hitting the engine guard. Small bikes and very sensitive
@@matt59fire that’s awesome to hear, it will be my first bike as well! Like yourself, I plan on taking the mad course before I get the bike here in Texas. thanks for replying bro! I truly appreciate that!
@williesummers9141 Hey man I'm also in Texas. I was completely green. I grew up on atvs and did extremely limited dirt bike riding when I was young. So I was the least experienced. Most guys in the course showed up on bikes they already had. Most of the class was only there because they had been driving without insurance and didn't want another ticket. So I was struggling a little more than the rest. But I passed. What got me was the u turns.
@@matt59fire yeah I can understand that, especially for the tickets, these laws out here bored lol..I was watching a lot of beginner/training videos for new bike riders, that u-turn seemed to be the thorn in the side, but I’m glad you passed it! Any tips?
Big fan of RE, currently own a cali green INT650. LOVE the celestial blue meteor 650. I know they have the Continental GT but would be interesting to see them make a sports bike. Obviously it doesn’t fit their market but they have nailed it in the ADV, retro and cruiser market.
OC: great job Patty. Freaking gopro out here messing things up 😮💨 I think the bike looks pretty awesome, way faster than anything I've ridden before, but overall a cool, fun, retro style machine. Definitely would love for you guys to get one at the shop for a longer term review. 🤙🏼
You sir need to do more videos. Im 6ft 2 288lbs. Im about to pull the trigger on a R/E Super Duper. But wait there’s more…. 1st quarter of 2024 R/E is scheduled to release the new Shot gun 650 I’ve been looking forward to that bike for a while. Its more in line of what im looking for. I would like to see a video with you on that bike sir. You guys are great. Looking forward to more entertaining videos in 2024.
Let me know if you ever get a chance to compare the RE Super Meteor to a HD cruiser. Would love to hear the differences in riding feel. My gateway drug to cruisers was getting to borrow a 750lb Dyna. Wondering how the Meteor does for taller riders.
Ive done about 8k kilometers on my Hunter 350 in Thailand and its been fantastic. The 650 super might be my next purchase. The forward foot position is the only thing im not sold on yet.
I’m glad to here your comment about the rear suspension and feeling a little soft being a big guy because I’ve heard other reviews of it feeling hard which makes sense the other riders perhaps were smaller chaps. Looks a cool bike it’ll sound awesome with a decat etc👍
Just ordered mine, i'm from Argentina, it costed 7700 USD in the Interestellar Green colour, in a market where a Vulkan is 18k... Royal Enfield is one of the only brands that don't sell extremely overpriced things down here.
The best thing about RE is its Value for Money product. I have a Meteor Stellar black. I bet I dont have to spend anything fancy to stretch its life cycle. Put in some fuel and its good to go. Better mid range and a smooth cruisng ride with such a nice bassy sound. Loving it
I hope they do eventually. They need to. So I don't have to switch brands. Because I'm eventually going to have to get an accessory bike or do a trade in. But I don't want to get rid of it. But I also wanna go vroom a little. This is perfect for going to work though
I am interested in this bike but I'll be very interested, if standard position pegs from one of the other models can be used. Maybe pegs from the Shotgun? If I can't ride while standing on the pegs (good for low-speed manuvering), it's close to a deal-breaker.
@@fatherfreedom1946 The hard suspension for one and low ground clearance for another. Cruisers aren’t huge her cause of the horrible roads, hence my comment around bike being better suited to foreign markets which have great roads.
Ohh really I am hesitant to buy it here in American roads is it capable enough?? That’s the reason I switched of getting a BMW 850 gsa or 1250 gsa but it’s way pricey though
Royal Enfield is killing it! Price and performance is unbeatable.
Apart from the performance, everything about this bike is just awesome 👍
@@vigilant.performance is ok for this cruiser
u know how much it costs in India? 4.5 Lakhs (Approx 5.2K USD). Hehehe
OC: As a sport bike person, that thing actually looks really sweet. A great entry to the cruiser life.

Looks like a fantastic bike! I've loved what Royal Enfield has done over the past few years, this looks to be a damn nice contender for my next bike.

If you can afford it, S&S does an 800 kit for the 650. 70+ hp and 60tq. Supposedly changes the whole attitude of the bike.
