We have Amazon or Bol to purchase stuff. But they only deliver to your house. Not the real-time location. Also, a lot of shops will have their own app where people can buy their stuff. I live in the Netherlands, Europe.
I don't think Meituan is very helpful for travelers or people staying in China for a week or so. It's more useful for foreigners living in China long-term. For short-term travelers, WeChat's real-time bus mini-programs (each city has its own version) can help you keep track of public transport information, and "Dianping" is better for finding good food in the city.
