They share some similarities. India has vastu shastra equivalent to fengshui of the chinese. One seeks auspicious dates during special occasions like weddings, etc and this is so similar with the chinese. Both had pre-arranged marriages but the chinese nowadays have disregarded this practice

"The swastika is an auspicious symbol in China where it was introduced from India with Buddhism. In 693, during the Tang dynasty, it was declared as "the source of all good fortune" and was called wan by Wu Zetian becoming a Chinese word."
This was taken from Wikipedia, but a quick search shows that it has been a symbol common all throughout Asia, not _limited_ to India.

If you really study history, Buddhism was introduced in China and flourished, the people practiced Buddhism, it was later introduced to Korea and Japan from China. That's why swastikas appeared in China. We know where Buddhism came from, only those who say where it originated when everyone knew are just either clueless or arrogant
