Glad you’re putting this content out there. Hopefully the problem gets figured out and your experience can help anyone else with the same issue. My own smaller issue with the kit right now is the ebrake not working. I have it turned on but occasionally it’s works but after I turn it off and on for another ride it doesn’t. Not as big as your issue on it not turning on at all. Hopefully it doesn’t have anything to do with the motor smell you had a few vids back. Check your connections, maybe try the second hall sensor connector. Hope all goes well and keep us updated!
🐍It's a S73, just wrap a chain around it. Attach a long rope to the chain. The attach the other end of the rope to the front of a boat. It will perform flawlessly after that. 🖖🤙
Great build man, I bought a 72 volt 2000 watt rear NB Power 20inch by 4 , and I had Issues They dont tell us - you have to hook up bluetooth and go into setting and make adjustments with the display - they have settings for everything
My issue was a bad display. After they sent a replacement it’s been 100% fine.
it's just like modding cars. once you go from bolt-ons, to power adders w/ custom engine management systems,
you lose the OE appeal and driveability, and inherit reliability in most cases.
i like the OE s73 display and everything, idk if the extra power of going custom 72v is worth the headaches / compromises.

@@neilm6764 I feel like the onyx display is much bigger and heavier, ppl are saying he doesn't even need a display, he can just use the controller and use the app;
@@darylrergis ct22 display arent heavy, even if it is you have a 5k watt hub motor to take care of it. and yes sabvoton can run without the display, but its still nice to have one

You know you dont need the the ebrake plugged in and turn it off in the app it causes issues and also I dont run no display on my sabaton and work amazing ..
I find that my ebrake doesn’t work half the time. I’ll probably turn it off as well, so I can avoid the issue

I might turn them off in the app too if it’s available to do so. I did have regen braking on when you apply brakes only. That was a nice feature but we’ll see what’s wrong with this setup first

I reckon your controller or battery is overheating therefore shutting off your throttle and display. That side panel might be restricting the air flow you should take the panel off and then try ride it because then your getting some proper airflow to the components.
The video starts right after I turned it on from sitting all night. It has nothing to do with overheating. The panel also has slots and vents for everything up front.

Check you programming of the controller this is where a lot of problems come about. Reprogram and try agian.
Yeah I reset everything. I have a quick video coming out soon showing it turn on and running and then not turning back on all in the same clip. Then it will turn on again. Like 30mins ago it turned on 5 times in a row working. 6th time it didn’t wanna turn on lol
Yeah, this isn't a good advert for the kit.
Could be a bad controller or display. Never know. Things happen. They are sending me a new screen
@@MrCentralDriver The display won't usually cause these issues. Gonna end up being the controller unfortunately.

Glad I didn’t waste my money on a super 73… and after this video glad I didn’t take a Chance modding one either seems like problem after problem
It’s things you run into. Just like modifying a car too. Company is sending me a new display. Should fix the issue. If it doesn’t then it could be the controller but they are taking care of me.

@@MrCentralDriver 🐍Just saying the display is not a practical choice for troubleshooting your problem, use your NOSE.
Other guys with your kit operate without any display and get their info off their phone app.
Unplug as many wires from your harness as you can till you have the minimum wires connected to run...then add them back one at a time till you get the smell to return, then unplug the last connection again and see if the smell leaves again.🖖✌️
