I am a middle school special education teacher and our contract hours are 8:30-4:00. I LOVE the late start because I am not a morning person lol.

Learned about your story recently. In the early 80's, as a child, I received a lot of blood products to treat a bleeding disorder. This was when the blood supply was quite dangerous. Around 90% of the individuals with my diagnosis became HIV positive as a result. I'm part of the slim 10% that slipped through. The older I get, the more it gradually affects me. I find myself drawn to stories now of other peoples' survival. I try to find lessons in how survivors cope. I'm not sure other people can quite understand how that feels, to somehow evade death, entirely randomly, regardless whether it was "deserved", when _so many_ others didn't.
I remember a quote from Einstein, he said something like, "God doesn't play dice with the universe" or something. I'm no Einstein, but I strongly, respectfully, disagree, lol...
I'm glad I found your channel. You gotta keep pushing forward, right? Somehow we persevere. As I heard a Jesuit say one time, "There's no alternative".

I’ve been keeping up with the Parkland trial and saw her on there earlier and was like “she looks just like that teacher” and then I realized she IS😭 omg. I subscribed to her awhile ago but for some reason I’m just now realizing she was part of all of that.

Not me watching while starting at 7:45 every day 🥲lol! I have to be there by 7:15 at the latest! Other schools in our district got a later start time for next year but us. I don’t mind though since I’m out by 3 every day!:) have to see the bright side
