The scariest drug experiences I’ve ever had have been on benzodiazepines and ambian. You black out but still walk around and move and even can even drive. Have conversations and phone calls you would never even have remembered unless someone told you. I got all my pills completely legally. I just wasn’t smart when it came to using them. Smh. Threw them all away.
They’re not as bad for you as heroin but the withdrawals can actually be lethal. Heroin gets you in your bones and ruins your shit. It’s way better to take because odds are you aren’t going anywhere on h but on benzos you’ll black out and go buy a dishwasher

I still have horrid tinnitus that klonopin withdrawals gave me. not to mention the anxiety.

Out of all the huge amounts of drugs I did in my youth, before I got sober. 8 of these suckers had me waking up in A&E. I was addicted to them so I told the doctor as soon as I get out I’m going to take more. They sectioned me for two weeks… just enough time to get clean before I went to court and did 3 months in prison. I’ve been clean ever since.

As someone who's had 3 seperate tonic clonic seizures during withdrawal from a 10 year benzodiazepine addiction, I can tell you that nothing about this drug is a miracle. Sure, they take away your anxiety while your on them, but when you decide to get off the drug, your gonna hallucinate, have uncontrollable muscle spasm, your not gonna sleep, your anxiety will be 100x worse than before, you will become EXTREMELY paranoid and delusional, it can turn the most outgoing person into a full blown introvert for many years after you get off the drug, that's if you don't die from the grand Mal seizures that will inevitably happen. Don't fuck with anything that manipulates your GABA receptors. The withdrawals are simply hell on Earth, unexplainable with words, heroin withdrawal is a walk in the park compared to alcohol or benzo withdrawal. Benzos are awful for daily use, even at low doses but they're a god damn miracle for panic attacks and hospital use. They should not be prescribed for daily use and it's pretty fucked up that doctors prescribe them to people without telling them about the withdrawals.

Here’s a true story about my dumbass and how i almost OD’d on what i thought was 30 xanax/one and a half bars. I had just turned 18 at the time and i had developed an anxiety issue around a year before. Like Joe was saying at the end, I never had anxiety until after taking xanax every few days for a year or so. So 2017 i get my first panic attack after smoking a blunt and being jinxed. I felt weak and thought i was gonna die. I didn’t know anxiety was a physical thing until the 2nd attack while i was tripping nuts on LSD, i just looped and my peers explained eventually i was just having a panic attack and not dying. ANYWAYS, a buddy of mine wasn’t doing the best shit at the time. He had stolen pills from this chicks house apparently and he told me they were klonopin. So i looked them up and the name of them was so close to the generic name i instantly believed it. Also he’s been a homie for years. I took 30 of them bitches but they were 0.1 mg blood thinners. (the highest dose goes to 0.3). So i take 30 of them bitches, thinking i just took equivalent to a bar and a half. About 10-15 minutes in, I realized that they weren’t anxiety meds. I felt powerless and i told all my friends there what had taken place and i just kinda passed out. My buddy took a video of me passed out and i looked like what people do in an open casket. Pale, mouth slightly open. I don’t know, i still don’t know if my bro didn’t care or if he didn’t know and made the same mistake i did online. One of my worst decisions ever. I didn’t go to the hospital although they should have brought me probably. I think i asked them not to, to be fair. I’m surprised i’m still alive today because doctors have told me i have high blood pressure and i’m 20 now. Luck? God? I don’t know why i came out of that alive. Didn’t think i would. Be smart.

Eventually I started to black out and do shit I couldn't remember the next day. I also became a compulsive theif of candy when I went in to a store. Even if I had money I would still steal it. I had to cut that shit out. I'm 42 now and wouldn't touch that shit because I know I love it.

In my early 20's (I'm 37 now and 10 years clean) I was prescribed Ativan and Klonopin...i took 90 klonopin in 4 days and was found by a corrections officer on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I was passed out in the front seat of my car. Had no idea where I was, why/how I got there...it was f*cking scary. Benzos are dangerous by themselves if you don't take them correctly, but especially dangerous if you drink on them...which, of course, i was. I feel like this dude is glorifying the use and misuse of benzodiazipines and since they almost killed me (twice) I dont find it funny.

Out of all the huge amounts of drugs I did in my youth, before I got sober. 8 of these suckers had me waking up in A&E. I was addicted to them so I told the doctor as soon as I get out I’m going to take more. They sectioned me for two weeks… just enough time to get clean before I went to court and did 3 months in prison.

I remember doing xanax. I used to love them, I would have 2 bars and smoke 6 blunts. I once took 5 in one day. Once I knew I had a problem, it took me months to get off them and all other drugs. My life is better

As someone who's had 3 seperate tonic clonic seizures during withdrawal from a 10 year benzodiazepine addiction, I can tell you that nothing about this drug is a miracle.
Sure, they take away your anxiety while your on them, but when you decide to get off the drug, your gonna hallucinate, have uncontrollable muscle spasm, your not gonna sleep, your anxiety will be 100x worse than before, you will become EXTREMELY paranoid and delusional, it can turn the most outgoing person into a full blown introvert for many years after you get off the drug, that's if you don't die from the grand Mal seizures that will inevitably happen.
Don't fuck with anything that manipulates your GABA receptors. The withdrawals are simply hell on Earth, unexplainable with words, heroin withdrawal is a walk in the park compared to alcohol or benzo withdrawal.

@@patrickoryan3125 Lol you are not a completely different person on .5mg of ativan. Ativan is extremely functional, doesn't even get you high. Does get rid of anxiety though. Benzos are awful for daily use, even at low doses but they're a god damn miracle for panic attacks and hospital use. They should not be prescribed for daily use and it's pretty fucked up that doctors prescribe them to people without telling them about the withdrawals.

Lmao first time I took a bar, me and my friends were going out for the night and I popped a full 2mg bar, then all of a sudden I woke up in the same spot I took it, the next day 😂 I didn’t remember a thing, so I figured I passed out immediately after taking it. Come to find out, I actually still went out that night, had a crazy night. I saw videos of my self that night and I may have been the coolest version of myself ever. Don’t take Xanax guys, just don’t 😂

Here’s a true story about my dumbass and how i almost OD’d on what i thought was 30 xanax/one and a half bars.
I had just turned 18 at the time and i had developed an anxiety issue around a year before. Like Joe was saying at the end, I never had anxiety until after taking xanax every few days for a year or so. So 2017 i get my first panic attack after smoking a blunt and being jinxed. I felt weak and thought i was gonna die. I didn’t know anxiety was a physical thing until the 2nd attack while i was tripping nuts on LSD, i just looped and my peers explained eventually i was just having a panic attack and not dying.
ANYWAYS, a buddy of mine wasn’t doing the best shit at the time. He had stolen pills from this chicks house apparently and he told me they were klonopin. So i looked them up and the name of them was so close to the generic name i instantly believed it. Also he’s been a homie for years. I took 30 of them bitches but they were 0.1 mg blood thinners. (the highest dose goes to 0.3). So i take 30 of them bitches, thinking i just took equivalent to a bar and a half. About 10-15 minutes in, I realized that they weren’t anxiety meds. I felt powerless and i told all my friends there what had taken place and i just kinda passed out. My buddy took a video of me passed out and i looked like what people do in an open casket. Pale, mouth slightly open. I don’t know, i still don’t know if my bro didn’t care or if he didn’t know and made the same mistake i did online. One of my worst decisions ever. I didn’t go to the hospital although they should have brought me probably. I think i asked them not to, to be fair.
I’m surprised i’m still alive today because doctors have told me i have high blood pressure and i’m 20 now. Luck? God? I don’t know why i came out of that alive. Didn’t think i would.

In my 20s I would eat a Xanax and start drinking before I went to the bar. I would get to the bar drink 3 beers and be trashed. If I went in sober I would of drank 15 beers and 8 shots. At the time it cost 5 dollars a bar. I saved a ton of money and felt so relaxed. I loved it. As time went on it went up to 2 bars then 3. Eventually I started to black out and do shit I couldn't remember the next day. I also became a compulsive theif of candy when I went in to a store. Even if I had money I would still steal it. I had to cut that shit out. I'm 42 now and wouldn't touch that shit because I know I love it.

In my early 20's (I'm 37 now and 10 years clean) I was prescribed Ativan and Klonopin...i took 90 klonopin in 4 days and was found by a corrections officer on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I was passed out in the front seat of my car. Had no idea where I was, why/how I got there...it was f*cking scary. Benzos are dangerous by themselves if you don't take them correctly, but especially dangerous if you drink on them...which, of course, i was. I feel like this dude is glorifying the use and misuse of benzodiazipines and since they almost killed me (twice) I dont find it funny.
