Had an opportunity to experience this room wow just wow the clarity and the immersion 👌 the bass is epic but the work Morne put in to balancing out everything really paid off 👏
I am still a bit of a new comer the the sound-enthusiast world but... your videos has lead me to purchasing one of these RP1200 SW at on absolute bargain @R18900 brand new. Soundx was running some clearance sale on all Klipsch product due to them changing suppliers or something. This sub is quite an experience for me compared to my standard run-of-the-mill hometheater sub that doesnt even reach below 30 Hz. Thank you so much for your content.
@homecinemaking397 the two blow my face off. I use a pair of R120sw and R100sw for each of my rear subs. I don't like the Standard R as much but I'd like to sell those 4.
@@wayneiceman yes the R series subs are not great( cheap and nasty) then its not about blowing your face off its about being surrounded in bass and directional bass. You will most probably dial it back allot but they will work is wonderous harmony 👌
@homecinemaking397 the two RP1400s, I run them with the gain around 5. These things go up to 11. I may get the two RP1200s for rears to replace the 4 R series. You're doing such awesome work in the hone theatre space bro. 👏 not just for SA, your setups will beat out a lot of what we see from the bigger youtubers. I hope you make it big brother. I'll be along for the journey. You should set up a home theatre meet up this Christmas period. Maybe in Durbs?
@@wayneiceman thank you this means allot to me as this is my passion and yea i think i will be able to hang with the big youtube boys and might even have more experience in actually doing cinemas and not just reviews. Let me know if you need anything ill sort you out and best service and price👌
I've got 2 12"s on the way. And it's a huge upgrade because my strongest is an svs PC12 NSD which this klipsch should beat easily. And my weakest sub is a $200 retail old klipsch sub.
Great video Bro (as always). I have a Polk HTS12, small room, can´t decide between the RP1200SW or DN12 to enhance my movies experience. Single sub for small room, movies impact, what would you choose? Also, I can get the DN15 for less than the RP1400SW. A 15 Sub in my small room would look funny, but maybe thát the way to crack the house =)
Have to agree with you about Svs and the other company's catching up or passing them.I have 2 Svs Sb-3000 and they are now up to $2,000 each here in Canada
svs was good in 8 to 9 years ago. pv16 ultra released January in 2017 at CES and later in the year. The fact that were still even considering them in 2023 is a joke. They are yesterdays product, with tomorrow's pricing. It makes absolutely no sense. Klipsch RP1600SW in America was just on an insane sale, and the monolith thx13 ultra was also on an insane sale. Those are both infrasonic subs, and having 4 of them is the go to.
The HTS is the best subwoofer in the lower pirce point but it will not compare here. But its still my best entry sub that HTS12 i will not sell anything lower.
How would you say this compared to the 4xDN12 you had in your room? Price range on both in Brazil are similar, soo... what to choose since my room will be movie+music? DN12 seems to be faster since no port, but radiators, am I right?

Wow. That sounds 🔈🔈 incredible good then. 👍👍.
I'm gonna make a setup like this too, wtth the Marantz Cinema 50 and Klipsch RP1200SW or Arendal 1S. Hopefully the neighbors like it :D
We just demo’d this setup again today and its so epic👌 enjoy💪
Is that scene with all the colors, water, and rock from a Quiet place?

Looking to replace my 15 year old 12in bottom firing sub from Klipsch with the rp-1200sw or rp-1400sw. Any difference between the 12 & 14
Huge difference but also keep in mind the 14” is also much bigger then the 12”

Please tell me what you think of directional bass. I am using it with my denon 3800
Yes that is how im using mine also👌
@@homecinemaking397 the problem is getting 4 subs to activate for stereo. When using directional bass, do you get it to trigger?

What are the dimensions of the box that the RP-1200SW comes in? Just want to know that it will fit through my door. Thanks

Yes look SvS quality is very good and i think that sets them apart but at a premium price. I believe some new stuff from SvS coming soon.
@@homecinemaking397 Yes they came out with a complete new line of speakers called the Evolution and discontinued the Ultra line.Don't know about subs.

Impressive. Klipsch has come a long way with these new subs. However, don't sleep on the RSL 12s or the Emotiva 13THX
Been saving for an rsl 12s! Hopefully i can get one somewhat soon because a good sub is the last piece i need for my setup

Hello sir. How about a comparison with the polk hts12?
Always fun and interesting with you're style of enthusiasm and presentation!

For music and movie i would go DN12
The RP-1400SW is actually a quarter inch shallower in depth than the RP-1200SW. Only the width and height are greater on the 14.
Where can find this demo?
For the original test on the Rp1200sw?
@@homecinemaking397 the one you used to demo. I believe it’s a DTS:x

Is DN12 for €599/R12,277 lekker? 😂
Ive heard both… and those klipsch dont compete with SVS (we both know that). I def enjoy watching your channel tho. Have a great 2024
