Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"! I really like the beautiful CPKC holiday train, it is a great train!
Same.
Same here @TrainsoftheUSA
Revy, practicing pedestrian safety as he looks both ways before crossing the street!🐻🤎
But still crossed against a red light
Already been hit by a car once, so "he" is more careful of traffic now!

@@John-cg8hb Color blind?
@@t-bonejones3576 Don't want to see that, thanks.
The train (M217) in emergency at La Grange had two issues, one a knuckle and the other a drawbar. The autorack with the drawbar issue got put into the siding at La Grange. The crew also told the Dispatcher that the previous crew had a drawbar issue, on their way into Cincinnati. Not a lucky train that day but that's how it is sometimes.
It was empty, right?
yes it was@@EpicRails
1:03 BNSF said “NO NO YOU WONT BEAT ME!” 😂
Revy da bear ❤️, being careful and watching his domain 👍. Nice view of the moon coming up over the Denver area too ! As for the Canadian Christmas Train ? what can I say that hasn’t been said . . . . . oh yea , Thank You ❤️
Excellent GB ! You Bad Silver/ meteor Train ! Blocking The CSX Holiday Train Shame On You ! But CPKC Holiday Train restored our View👏🏽! Buddy Bear Knows How To Look Both Ways Before Crossing The Street! Great Moon Rise Musical 🎵
Wow! Amtrak leaving La Plata with snow on the ground! Arvada is amazing, as always.
CP holiday train and Revy bear - go 🇨🇦! Thanks for another great video.
A couple of old Milwaukee Road cars at 15:25 behind the RTV
It's interesting how the bear looks left when he starts to cross the road, and then left when he gets to the middle. "Smarter than the average bear!"
Um he crossed against a red
He got hit by a car here once before. He is more observant of traffic now!

5:13, that mystery locomotive is CaterParrott Railnet, also known as CPR for short.
Probably heading east to their Valdosta-Willacoochee operation (former Georgia and Florida trackage).
Thank You.
I really loved the Holiday Train thanks Virtual Railfan :).
It's sure is cold hope you all stay warm
The US Army has a logo for everything, doesn't it?
*Nice*
Just right for a Sunday Drive in the Countryside until you realise those bright lights in the distance are getting brighter and looming large, Time to get off this road.
Really Cool Video
Holy cow! A p42 on surfliner?!!!!😱😱😱
Some good footage of CPKC train, NS brick/geometry train with GE motor running long hood forward, Ferromex EMD units, nice video and shot of Harvest moon!🛤🚂
So cool we are on here when the CPKC came through Santa Fe Junction
The train with the Christmas lights sooo cute
I have amtrak and sunrail trains right outside my door
WHAT! A BEAR! Ain't it passed its hibernation start time !? 🤔
Getting close, but they need to fatten up as much as they can, so while there's still stuff to eat...
There is (was?) a food source in town. Bears never forget a food source. The bears in Glacier NP still check for food sources at locations of accidents involving draft animals during construction of Going-to-the-Sun Road 90 years ago.
It's not too often that I see footage of NS heritage locomotives in the states they were actually within. More often than not I've seen Erie Heritage unit in Kentucky, or CofG units in Missouri, or Wabashes in Michigan, etcetera, etcetera. It's nice to see a Georgia related unit in Georgia.
always love the Revy bear.
Revy got quite the following! Always a crowd pleaser.
Great one Mike! Lots of good action in this one!
7:13 Those containers on the two unit articulated spine cars can also haul hazardous waste and something far worse than garbage. Especially the Epic Cars. I know this because I see them every so often on NS 11K departing from Allentown, PA.
I see similar cars on the Waycross cam carrying aluminum oxide and other haz mat placards...not just trash!
Looks as though Revy the Bear has put on a few pounds. Getting ready to hibernate.
Nice footage!
👍🌺🇮🇳🌹👍
Greetings from WNY! I need a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to get through all this snow!
That blue engine at 5:15 is from the cater parrot railnet. the cater parrot railnet has four lines the one goes from Madison to Godfrey to shady Dale to Machen georgia line with a storage track at newborn and the other one is from Valdosta to willacoochee the 3rd line is from Ardmore to Sylvania and lastly is the Thomaston district wilhich goes from Barnesville ga to Thomaston ga
Elk Galore reminds me of the James Bond movie…
This was a cute one! Revy Bear showed up again tonight at 21:24 on their live cam, going the other way. Of course I love anything Arvada--- including the elk---but that moonrise epic. The Holiday Train is still a delight--videobomber notwithstanding! But does anybody know if the riders on the Belford car with the Norfolk Southern Research Train get paid to be there? Sort of checking out the ride for paying passengers? Or are they real paying passengers?
I’m declaring that driver in La Grange a Darwin Candidate!
What were they doing, anyway?!
@@TinkerTailor4303Good question. Acting rather irresponsible perhaps.
22:28 Check the left for cars.
22:34 Check the right for cars.
Very experienced at crossing the street.
Was that tank-car hook-up @ 4:13 a little fast?
Not really. 4 MPH is the maximum speed to couple. That was about 2 MPH with good brakes. The car being coupled to didn't move much. I've seen cars move almost a full car length when a hard coupling is made. It's all about proper train handling and good communication between the person on the ground and the engineer.
Those Army vehicles at 2:25 are awesome! They'd be a blast off road here in the Ozarks.
If you have a spare 300+K, lol!
Wow! Great catch, Virtual Railfan, thank you.
Good one 🚂🚃🚃🚃
15:07
I've hauled hundreds of those little RTV 1100c utvs but I've never seen one kitted out like that before. Way cool neat!
Love your use of the word "kitted", so many great words out there.
Day 5 of asking for Revy the Bear merch! 😂
nice to see the bear again !
Send that bear back to Chicago to hibernate!
16:57 Uumm! How come the 'egg-heads' get all the best toys? That Pullman Obs is sooo sweet, the locos are OK too.......
Roanoke @6:58, there is a rusty looking Hopper (next to the rear Helper) with a Logo that looks familiar, but I cannot make it out - if anyone can, please tell. At Wichita, the ,Golden West Service' Hopper was great to see, with not a blemish on it.
But not original reporting marks?
Appears to be CGEX which is Cargill grain and the emblem on there is a scratched up Cargil emblem
Hi, thanks for your reply. I checked the Cargill emblem and it seems like it. I will have to pay more attention to Reporting Marks as well as Liveries. @@paulbergen9114
20:55 - Yes, inching closer to the crossing gate will make the train go faster. 🙄
Got to admit, you don't see a "creeper" that obsessed often at a crossing
A gorgeous outro but way too short, perfect moon , beautiful tune.
I can only work with what I have, but I agree.
hello virtual railfan & randy and i like yours video is cool thanks friends randy
Technically, "The Brick" @16:58 is NS unit 38, not this one which is NS 34, a different track test unit(was SD35 1530).
That rail grinder train has enough lights On it I think
LOL, it's that camera more than anything. It exaggerates all the lights.
Nice moon rise
I heard the 611 whistle. Around 6:30
I always love seeing the Space X taking off.
9:51 I guess they ran out of switchers 🤣🤣
wow csx 1827!
Gee, l got here early 😳 🤔😊🙂
Waycross GA what was CSX dragging on the front of the loco?
2:25 I admit I'd like to get one of those trucks
Where does the trash cars go to & from?
15:13 now theres a hirailer I'd like
I have seen other ones where they just take off the wheels & put on flanged wheels
18:13 he didn't wait the 23 seconds before gate went down
23:04 There’s a plushie of Revi?
Yep--on the Revelstoke Virtual Railfan live cam
8:11 what's with the lights? On every engine had 4 to 6 bright lights on the side!
I saw on a RUclips channel that a train plowed into a snow fighter machine. It was bad.
I like seeing the trains stopping
at the stations and the military
vehicles on the train in Waycross
Georgia was awesome and the
train going through LaGrange is
always great to see Thank You

🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲🇨🇦💨
Oh fudge military trucks
I agree with most of that said below, but why do you keep giving that geek in Elkhart "air time" with that flashlight/laser? It seems rather creepy to me
12.50
@7:57 what's the Morse code?
🇳🇱👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏🍀☃️
@5:35 - I want more info on all of this. Who is doing research and for what? Who is funding this research?
That is a Norfolk Southern track monitoring and evaluation consist used to find any track defects and anomalies before they become bad enough to cause an accident.
Two fake fades in one video now way
💀💀💀
