[TN][T-173] More Heritage Fails, Deja Vu and a Little Train Line called The Bloom | Trains 21

- It was a difficult endeavor getting this video done.. I had a slightly sore throat that made my voice hoarse and raspy so I apologize if my vocals are a little off.. And although I didn't point it out in the video, Train 14R with the VGN Heritage Unit is my last catch of 2019.. Aside from that, lightning strikes not two, but three times.. How can the same thing happen to the same guy 3 times!

I like the history, most of which I'm learning from your videos. Thank you. Excellent video AC. All the best in 2020.
Thanks Hans.. Best to you too!
Fun fact. The building at CP Kase is a temporary tower built by the PRR when the original tower burned mysteriously. It is also the last standing tower from the wilkes barre Branch. This is info from Gene- former PRR tower operator At Hunlock and Kase.
Cool! Thanks for that info, I'll make sure that it makes it into a future video!
Trains21 oh i also forgot to mention Nescopeck and Hart (down town WB towers too. And he is probably the only person alive that rode a freight over the west Nanticoke branch onto the bloom
Happy New Year, AC. Hope you get over the cold sooner than later. Until then, stay out of the cold rain / snow storms and drink a lot of either hot tea with lemon, or hard lemonade. The hard lemonade probably won't help the cold much, but it will make you not care about it! Or scratch the hard lemonade and go right for a snort of Jack Daniels. Then you won't care about either the cold or the lemonade!
Thanks Jim, that is wonderful advice!
I could NOT wait to get out of work to see this! You did NOT let me down! Thanks AC. Right on time again!
Thanks Bethany! I'm finally getting caught up with comments so sorry for the late reply.
What a tremendous amount of knowledge!! WOW! Wish there was someone in the CNY area who could educate us this way.
Thanks Commander, why don't you take a crack at it??
@@Trains21 Would love to, but I understand the decades of learning required, so only can pretend and do what I can.
As always, a very informative video. I'm never disappointed coming here to watch your latest offering. Very well done!
Thanks RC, the first of five PSR videos is now on deck!
@@Trains21 OOOOOO... can't wait!!!
Every video you create is fabulous! TY! Saw a Nickel Plate Road engine just this morning going thru Elkhart!
Thanks Nancy.. You probably saw the #8100!
Thank you for all the information AC! I would like to make a trip down to PA and this info will be useful.
No problem, I'm glad I could help.
Residentof Shamokin, the SVRR also moves covered hoppers, low open top cars, and coal cars, just outside shamokin.
About 39 coal cars a month, empties as re moved into on tuesdays, and fulls are taken on thursdays or fridays in the same week.
Thanks for that info Tommy.
Good production there, I saw that FRA train last year on NS
Cool! Maybe I'll bump into the video
Amazing video A.C! I absolutely ❤️ the North Shore depot @ 8:43 I would like to see more of this location. Thank You A.C!

Thanks Pete, I'm certainly trying!
Its good news to R&N and North Shore. Sad PRR signals are gone on NS. But at Milesburg there's PRR signal bridge still stands there. The Lycoming's SD40-2s are common at NBER.
Yep, I've shot the PRR bridge @ Milesburg.. It's an awesome show pretty much any time of the day.
Here in Wesern New York,we are seeing tons of BNSF power pulling oil trains from the west, to the east coast .
Yeah, I've been watching others videos and seeing that.. Thanks for the info.
Good video, thanks for sharing. Would have liked a little more mention of the L&S operations on the Bloom. As I understand it, they cut back severally. Happy New Year.
Think it was last year they were using it to store tank cars
@@daltonwilliams567 they also cut the line at Exeter. I know there was at least one customer in Kingston and possibly another in Forty Fort before they cut them off.
Outstanding video and narration
Thanks Railhead.. Much appreciated.. I've been quietly following you for years!

AC: Have you ever spotted NKP 765 in your neck of the woods? It is a completely rebuilt 1944 Berkshire style steam locomotive manufactured by the Lima (Ohio) Locomotive works. Usually, it never travels much farther East than to Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) Ohio. It is operated by the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society. LINKS: fortwaynerailroad.org/nickel-plate-road-no-765/
Yes, it came to Steamtown in 2015.
