This is the perfect size for on the go computing. Coupling it with a good folding Bluetooth keyboard and a mouse along with the Apple Pencil it makes a perfect writer’s companion. I bought the 256gb/5G version as a long term companion device.

@@KORUPTable that's just the thing: I like the iPad mini as a device that can actually compliment my others. I easily could have gotten an older iPad or a cheap Android tablet, but the new Mini stands out because it's sheer power to size ratio. And it will likely get a decade of software support to go with it given Apple's history of supporting devices. And personally, I have a mixed use for an iPad. On one hand, I watch Netflix and RUclips often, on the other, I play games, have multiple windows open, and quickly multitask. So that power comes when I need it most. It's kinda how like how I use my PC with an rtx 2060 and 64gb of ram for web browsing most of the time, but when it comes time to edit a video like this, I'm really glad I have that power.

Absolutely! When I'm using a smaller bag, I can slip this thing inside so easily! And the fact that it still packs flagship specs is the cherry on top

I was thinking about getting new iPad but nah. My iPad Air 2 is more than for RUclips, HBO GO, Netflix or reading some books.
Why would you even pay that much for a device that can do all of that for way less though? Is it just brand loyality?
