I just bought a 98 dakota and I love the truck. However, I want the turbo v8 in it later on so I'm excited to see how your truck performs since I plan on doing the exact same thing.
hows the project going.. man i can't wait to see this v8 come to life and get your opinion on the differences between the 6cyl & the 8cyl be4 and aft the turbo as far as power & torque feel go cuz I've had alot of dakotas in my time but never drove a 4cyl or a 6cyl so be curious to see since you've pretty much did the same upgrades to the 8cyl that you did on the 6cyl as far as engine goes so should be a pretty good & accurate comparison which im so curious to hear about.. be cool if ur able to give a comparison on how well that turbo did for the v8 too b4 and aft.. thx once again for ur content on everything it keeps me going on my dakota which I've been slackin on lately but hopefully i change that real quick
Picked up another dakota. This ones a 93 v8. I still have the 95, but I sold the 3.9. Kept it because the frame, cab corners, and rockers are perfect. Other than the floor and carpets its in pretty decent shape. Ill need it gone by winter to make room for a hemi winter beater/ summer donor for the 93
