Jacob definitely has an overharmonizing problem lmao. It don't even sound good to me because of how cluttered the sound is.
It is good, don't worry. overharmonizing isn't cluttered sound, cluttered sound is cluttered sound. hope this helps

@@anopirsten7565 to an untrained or unrefined ear, yes it could be cluttered. The amount of music unlimited by mediocre ears however renders this amount of harmonization minimal. As a trained musician I'm telling you that this comes nowhere near cluttered, and that's a pretty shallow analysis
@@chrisdudleytrumpet As a trained musician also, this is quite cluttered for Sextet Harmony. If you listen to something like Masterpiece by King's Singers, well, they're a sextet but how come they don't sound cluttered? It's cause of when or how they harmonize when they do. I rewatched this video just now since my comment was a year ago and I'll tell you that it's not as bad as I remember, but if I were to listen to an arrangement from a different person it definitely would sound better, at least to my ears. And technical aspects in music don't really matter to the listener, whether your ear is untrained or as trained as it could ever be, you will hear the same thing as the person sitting next to you. The only difference is understanding, but if it doesn't sound good then it just doesn't sound good, mate.
@@chrisdudleytrumpet I will also concede that it isn't very cluttered, but I will say that's it's still a bit cluttered. I listen to it and I hear bits and parts where it'd be better without a certain part singing and I think that it's a bit too much at times.
