Power finesse is awesome. I use a med heavy with a mod fast tip for my drop shot.. 3/16 weight with a #1 BKK drop shot hook. This is an awesome setup. Gotta use it before you judge it
I think it depends on how you are fishing it. If it’s deep water and you are barely shaking it I like a medium light. If I’m pitching it around cover or docks I like a med to med-hvy.
Did you all even watch the video? He clearly shows his drop shot rig with a bigger worm rigged on an ewg hook. Many people fish the dropshot/ bubbashot around heavy cover which requires heavier gear. Your typical med-light dropshot setup for this rig would not work #commonsense
Thanx Brian. Good lure choices but not really finesse. A 3/8-1/2oz swim jig is more combat fishing. The new finesse jigs everyone throwing would have fit the bill.
Hate to say this video isnot finesse 😢. Downsize your baits even further and make very subtle movements, please😢. At 3:07 Bass in a slit-second noticed that the exaggerated movement with a bigass worm is totally NOT bait finesse and immediately runs away.
"Cover a lot of water" and "finesse" shouldn't be in the same sentence 😂 this video started off good and then I think you got lost 😂 i mean seriously a crank bait? get out of here😂😂 A hellgrammite on a ned rig or a texas rigged worm now thats a finesse bait

Great info thank you sir really helpful tips 👍🏻
A med-heavy for a drop shot that makes no sense. Man I don't understand the rod actions your using.
Just the typical bass fishing mindset of overpowering the gear lol
@johnmccloud1054 these pro's use these actions and I think it confuses a lot of angler's who are new to bass fishing.

Med heavy powers vary, maybe it's on the light side. I fish Phenix Feather rods and they run a power light. It is a Texas rigged hook also.

I’d rather flip and jig and throw a chatterbait and catch Biggins
