Bro just wants to get clapped but the Glorious Hawk Boy says no Such is life The Lord of Blood Major Mini is getting delisted pernamently in 48 hours, last chance to get him is here : www.majorminis.com.au/products/lord-of-blood
Hello Majorkill, Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, the Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Pretty please? Thank you.
I like to imagine that Dante, Mephiston and the Sanguinor would fight Abby together. Dante keeps all the other Chaos Marines at bay, Mephiston stops any Warp Shenanigans and Sanguinor deals the killing blow.
40k is just peak crazy. Imagine being so good at your extremely deadly job that despite your best efforts you can't get yourself killed.....AND then further imagine your boss coming in to tell you how much he appreciates your hard work and asking you to do more of it, just without the suicidal tendencies. Poor Dante can't get the rest he deserves.
Khorne is so unintentionally funny, like sending Ka'Bandha to stop the Tyranids only because it would have meant something other than his followers from killing the Blood Angels is so petty for unimaginably powerful being. It's also hilarious that he granted the orcs who fought their way to his realm the closest thing to Heaven by letting them be stuck in an eternal cycle of war.
ngl i have a feeling khorne shows up to the chaos god meetings and plays his part but when nobody's looking goes and hangs out with gork and mork to enjoy the fights
Actually that's a part of the twisted sense of honor typical for Khorn plus the nids are chaos resistant and absorbing the playthings of the chaos gods so... It's not only Tzeench who is wanting for never ending " game", he is simply the best at helping that but the other 3 are in the same boat so to speak.
Yeah, Khorne is the god that could care less about sides and politics. When Nurgle and Tzeench fought for power, Khonre took over as the strongest, because he didn't play their exhasting games. He cares about strength, blood, and honor. He could care less where the skulls and blood comes from.
Something also worth mentioning, he resisted the black rage through just…deciding to do so I don't remeber the exact details, but I believe he was walkibg towards the swarmlord, and there's a cool scene where suddenly the description of what is happening changes, and suddenly we hear about the clang of metal boots and the dark hallways of a spaceship, and dante just… says No. I am Dante, and i will die as Dante Man just said no to the black rage
Not gonna lie, the part in Devastation of Baal, where Dante begs Sanguinius to let him rest, literally crying (extra emotional damage in the audio book as the delivery is so good), made me quite emotional. No other 40k story was even close to get this reaction out of me.
That and the part where he also hallucinates seeing is actual biological dad, and he just tries to tell him "look dad, I did it. I became an angel". Even after over a thousand years, he still remembered his birth parents and wanted them to be proud of him that he succeeded in becoming a space marine
What makes Dante interesting is that he wants to die, but instead of seeking suicide by cop by charging suicidally into battle his sense of duty is as strong if not stronger then his death wish. So he keeps on winning. And because he is too good at winning both Guilliman and the spirit of Sanguinius want to keep him around for even longer. He's truly a victim of his own success.
Do you know what? Seeing daemons of Khorne led by not only a greater daemon but perhaps the greatest daemon of Khorne fight alongside Blood Angels while every blood angel hears the daemon host crying out “they belong to us!!!” Whilst charging down and ripping Tyranids to shreds could well be the best scifi battle scene ever made if done right. Blood Angels & daemons tearing Nids limb from limb in a sea of red armour & molten skin
Yeah nah that's not how it went. All the blood angels forces on the moon where Kha'Banda slaughtered the Tyranids were also wiped out, there was no fighting alongside eachother.
Dante embodies this quote; “Engage in combat fully determined to die and you will be alive; wish to survive in the battle and you will surely meet death.” ― Uesugi Kenshin
The only reason Dante crossed the Rubicon and became a Primaries marine was because there was a good chance he could die during the procedure. Of course it didn't work.
I imagine Vulcan has a long list of individuals in need of a hug. But Dantes name is at the top of the list in bold letters with a pair of little wings around it.
He's like an Employee that already on retirement age and wants to retire but the company keeps saying no and instead to promote him to an even higher position.
He actually has revealed his true face, I think he first revealed it to the Salamanders Chapter master Tu'Shan as a sign of respect and to somewhat ease Tu'shan's self doubt, and then to the entirety of the Blood angels chapter and successor right before the Fall of Baal. Also my favorite Dante scene is when he wakes up from his death and hallucinates his birth father, and tries to show his father how he "Became an angel."
Served 1500-1600 years longer then our Hawk Father and now he’s more badass getting stronger with Primaris Upgrade a true badasss and respected by most chapters for how long and what he’s done
Besides Dreadnoughts and Chaos/Gullimen he’s the oldest Regular Space Marine and the Black rage hasn’t claimed him his will and power is sometimes mind blowing only second to Sangius or Mehpiston here’s hoping he gets to fight with some big name chapter masters or whoop some Xeno ass

I believe so too. Same with mephiston and the sanguinor. The sanguinor having the light angel of sanguinius and mephiston the dark angel and dante is just dante
If Sangunius was to return (it's possible for any Primarch to return barring Horus), it would such a massive cost like the entirely of The Blood Angel's and successor chapters. It would also give The Blood Angel's the chance to start over.
I don't want Sanguinius back, his sacrifice left the perfect wait and tone for the setting. Let Dante absorb the "aspect of the angel" let him fuse with the sanguinor.

His Axe is absolutely nasty gotta say he’s cool even when fighting the Swarm Lord taking one of his eyes and saying “I’m gonna take you’re other eye soon” and shot the Bug in the face with his melter hand gun I don’t blame his thoughts to want to die War is hell and he’s been in it the most for the Imperium
We definitely need to see Primaris Dante shine in the 10th edition lore currently after Guilliman he is the second most important figure in the imperium i hope he reforges the Blood Angels legion since Guilliman practically gave him the ok to do so.
@@mirotrevino9662 I believe Lion and Guilliman will be too busy defending imperial Sanctus against the new threats leaving Dante in charge of the other half of the imperium so its still quite an important role too.
@KOKO sigar don't get me wrong, I think that Dante is awesome, and I understand how important his role it. I'm just saying the emperor himself and all of the living loyalist primarchs are more important to the story moving forward as long as they are active. The Lion being back will likely cause just as many issues as Guilliman's return if not more. The high lords and the ecclesiarchy already have a shaky relationship with Guilliman as it is, but it could get worse if they lose more power and influence due to another primarch returning.
Also the fact that sanguinius appeared to Dante is truly truly massive, it shows that his spirit still exists and there might be hope that he can come back someday.
The irony is Dante is probibly the most loved guy in the galaxy considering he was the one to get Helbrecht and Azrael to go along with Guilliman and even Khorne likes him.
Ah, my favorite semi-suicidal space marine. I mean, he wasn't a pampered baby, he is the oldest living regular space marine, has survived the Tyranid onslaught, got the respect from Guilliman, is not Emperor of half of the galaxy, and has visions of himself saving the emperor from chaos. That is one badass.
Part of me will always feel bad for dante. The curse of immortal life is seeing everything and everyone you've ever know pass into the dark, after more than a thousand years i dont even want to imagine the impact on his mental state. But props to him, he refuses to go down easy, and the only times he's found a "worthy" enemy some saint or angel of the imperium has seen fit to help/make him stay. Even becoming a primaris, as far as i know for firstborn marines theres a pretty high failure/fatality rate for the proceedure, so i'd imagine the crusty old bastard thought "either this kills me, or i become even stronger to serve the emperor/empire better"
The best part I love hearing is hes 1,500 years old. When in lore lysande, who was trapped in the warp for 2,000 yrs and he stated he never remembered a time dante wasnt chapter master. And older lore still says hes older still but nobody remembers because all witnesses died so they couldnt capture his age which is hinted at being around 4,000 years old. But lets just keep making him younger robbing him of his legacy
I love that the art I had commissioned for my boy Dante (him reflecting on the Death Mask) is always used in these lore videos. Props to Veronica Anrathi for being an absolute badass artist.
I'm hoping now that Dante has become a Primaris Marine, that the transformation has genuinely reinvigorated him. Maybe not completely, but more than enough for everyone to see that he has definitely got his second wind.
I still love the scene where*Spoilers*, Dante is about to finally get the sweet release of death but Sanguinius is like "No" Dante: Finally, I can die. Sanguinius: No Dante: FFFFFFUUUUUU-
Dante: BUT WHY DAD PLEASE IM SO TIRED Hawkboy: you will save my dad the emperor and we need you alive to do it Dante: oh.... That will happen in like 1000+ years? Hawkboy: ehhh give or take, anyway good-bye and remember not to drink old blood
Ka'Bandha coming to the Blood Angels rescue kind of makes me think that GW are planning a return of Sanguinius. Going by the lore from the Siege of Terra, Ka'Bandha can't redeem himself until he claims 500 Blood Angel souls in the presence of Sanguinius. If Sanguinius is gone forever then why would Ka'Bandha care about the Blood Angels anymore.
You should make a sharrowkyn video, man helped led a small unit of drop site survivors (including iron warriors and salamanders) against the traitors and absolutley ruined their day
something tells me that the moment he truly embraces the life he is living, is when that prophecy comes into proper fruition and death will take him when he actually doesn't want it to. i can just see him actually arguing with sanguineous about not wanting to die even when the blood angel primarch tells him it is his time and he has done his duty for real and now he can finally sleep.
I always love artwork that depicts the Primarchs as embracing or otherwise emotionally supporting the astartes like their children. Gulliman holding a mortally wounded Dante's hand as if to say, "you've done enough, son." And it's not even his Astartes. Gotta love the Boute.
Unlike some other regiments, Kriegers are likely to follow orders and not run their armoured column into the area where they were told to stay away from. I don't fully recall which book it was from but there is quite a bit of friendly fire when the death company descends on the Leman Russ tanks...
Video idea: make a video on each primarch and have them vs every primarch 1v1 style and see how well they do. Obviously some primarchs will get bent over backward but it would still be cool
We just got news that the Lion has returned! even though I'm an extremely casual warhammer fan (basically only know some of the lore and haven't read the books or played the games yeah feel free to laugh) I love this channel and am really looking forward to when you cover it!
Yeah I remember when the Lord Commander woke up after his fight with the Swarm Lord, he was all like "No! No! No! Take me with you! I beg of you!" and then he spat some blood up, thought someone was his birth father, and got acknowledged as a pseudo Primarch by Gulliman. Wouldn't surprise me if the Lion woke up and found Dante to have a therapy session with like Gulliman did since he's the closest thing to Sanguinis in the modern setting. He also respected Commissar Yarrick so please make him a Major Mini.
the whole sanguinor/angels of darkness and light in the warp/mephiston/dante stuff is my favorite mystical thing in wh40k and guilliman meeting dante was one of the most intriguing moments in the lore for me
Sangy's prophecy probably wasn't about Dante, but either Guilliman, the Big E himself, Dorn, or some serious warp fuckery with a true clone of Sangy being created. We'll know soon me thinks.
Damn he went through Rubicon Primaris... if he was already a different guy when a normal space marine imagine now... For me, I thought he wouldn't do it because of the risk of death because he's already at an advanced age, but this is incredible as hell.
As someone that has done Sharon’s before and had what looked like a psychotic outbreak that in a few words can be described as MajorKill described Dante’s one year coma and came out more calmed and collected than before taking the shrooms I can understand how he didn’t went insane
Wasn’t originally gonna get the lord of blood but in a drunken spree of war hammer purchases I got him looking forward to painting him up when he arrives
Bro, it would be great if you start making videos about great chapter masters, and talk about some other badasses like Azrael, Logan Grimnar, Marneus Calgar and Gabriel Angelos ;)

I mean, he wasn't a pampered baby, he is the oldest living regular space marine, has survived the Tyranid onslaught, got the respect from Guilliman, is not Emperor of half of the galaxy, and has visions of himself saving the emperor from chaos. That is one badass.
Dante: Im tired boss
Sanguinis: How about No
Guilliman: Promoted
Dante: "OH FUU-"
YEEEES finally a whole episode about Dante, definitely one of my favorite space marines in 40k
I still love the scene where*Spoilers*,
Dante is about to finally get the sweet release of death but Sanguinius is like "No"
Dante: Finally, I can die.
Sanguinius: No
Dante: FFFFFFUUUUUU-
Dante: BUT WHY DAD PLEASE IM SO TIRED
Hawkboy: you will save my dad the emperor and we need you alive to do it
Dante: oh.... That will happen in like 1000+ years?
Hawkboy: ehhh give or take, anyway good-bye and remember not to drink old blood
@@fcomolineiro7596*(meanwhile the blood angles anxiously waiting for Dante to comeback):Dante lives! (Stump Stump)
Crusade day 33:what will happen if traitors primachs get redeemed and the reaction of the universe
I would highly recommend anyone watching this read the book Dante. And devestation of Baal. Some of the better 40k books.
Majorkill can you do a video on the planets of the Sol System in 40k?
You should make a sharrowkyn video, man helped led a small unit of drop site survivors (including iron warriors and salamanders) against the traitors and absolutley ruined their day
Dante is my primary inspiration.
I haven't had a good life, and don't really want to have to endure more of it.
But I refuse to give up
Life is shit
The best "Fuck you" to the world is success
Keep at it
Doom Slayer, too angry to die.
Dante, too much responsibility to die
I want to die as much as him
something tells me that the moment he truly embraces the life he is living, is when that prophecy comes into proper fruition and death will take him when he actually doesn't want it to. i can just see him actually arguing with sanguineous about not wanting to die even when the blood angel primarch tells him it is his time and he has done his duty for real and now he can finally sleep.
It's an ironic tragedy fitting for the theme of 40k. The one guy who can do so much for the Imperium wants to die, but can't.
Will we get a video on the return of the Lion, which was apparently confirmed? Always time for people to hail the Lord of the First
nice short story on Dante, i've neve read the books but now I understand why he is such a beast. Thanks
I always love artwork that depicts the Primarchs as embracing or otherwise emotionally supporting the astartes like their children. Gulliman holding a mortally wounded Dante's hand as if to say, "you've done enough, son." And it's not even his Astartes. Gotta love the Boute.
Just imagine Dante leading Krieg regiment. There would be so much dead bodies that even chaos gods would be terrified.
Unlike some other regiments, Kriegers are likely to follow orders and not run their armoured column into the area where they were told to stay away from. I don't fully recall which book it was from but there is quite a bit of friendly fire when the death company descends on the Leman Russ tanks...
My guess is his death will be after dueling Abbadon (or maybe even Lucas), thus making way for the return of The Lion.
Got a brand new model, he's not dying soon
@@greenn992 I never said it would happen soon
@@MWH12085 considering the lion is comiing 10th edition it would have to be soon.
@@greenn992 well, at least Dante dying
Video idea: make a video on each primarch and have them vs every primarch 1v1 style and see how well they do. Obviously some primarchs will get bent over backward but it would still be cool
The lion has returned
One of the many chads of the imperium. Raldoron must be surely smiling at him from the afterlife.
Dante meets Farsight
That would be epic story arc
And now he has suffered a fate worse than death: becoming Primaris.
The siege of Baal is literally "who will win: an army of Blood Angels super human space marines or one sneaky bug".
Don't underestimate the sneaky bug.
We just got news that the Lion has returned! even though I'm an extremely casual warhammer fan (basically only know some of the lore and haven't read the books or played the games yeah feel free to laugh) I love this channel and am really looking forward to when you cover it!
...also looks over at the Dark Ravens at Chapter Master Shrike; I need someone like you in the Blood Angels.
Poor guy. Well, I hope in his new primaris body his bones and joints don't hurt anymore and he feels young again.
Wrong video to drop it, but warhammer just posted a video about lion'el jonson returning. Check it out homie.
the whole sanguinor/angels of darkness and light in the warp/mephiston/dante stuff is my favorite mystical thing in wh40k and guilliman meeting dante was one of the most intriguing moments in the lore for me
Hell yeah baby Dante is awesome love the blood angels
As a new fan to WH40K your lore video help me so much, thanks bro.
Sangy's prophecy probably wasn't about Dante, but either Guilliman, the Big E himself, Dorn, or some serious warp fuckery with a true clone of Sangy being created. We'll know soon me thinks.
Dante vs The Betrayer will result in someone surely dying.
Damn he went through Rubicon Primaris... if he was already a different guy when a normal space marine imagine now...
For me, I thought he wouldn't do it because of the risk of death because he's already at an advanced age, but this is incredible as hell.
The risk of death is why he did it.
*Taps Ka'Bandha on the shoulder*
Hey, fucker, remember me?
*Proceeds to beat the shit out of him with bare hands*
If I ever fight Blood Angels on the tabletop, I'm gonna call Dante Lewis just to spite my opponent.
Would not recomand it , i hear the metal minis are quite heavy , they could do a lot of dmg :D
"Why am I still here? Just to suffer?" - Dante in a nutshell
Lion is back
There is no lore channel i enjoy more than this dude damn is he entertaining
As someone that has done Sharon’s before and had what looked like a psychotic outbreak that in a few words can be described as MajorKill described Dante’s one year coma and came out more calmed and collected than before taking the shrooms I can understand how he didn’t went insane
I need the story of Dante passing through the Rubicon. I need it! Great vid!
You should make a video about the imperial navy. You talk about the different types of ships from the samallest to the biggest and legendary ships
As a fellow Louis I am looking forward to my service to the Emperor
I bought one of your Dante models last night! Can’t wait to get him!
Majorkill the lion awaking and great video
Lion L Johnson has awaken! Warhammer announced it three houses ago from this post
For the Lion!
Wasn’t originally gonna get the lord of blood but in a drunken spree of war hammer purchases I got him looking forward to painting him up when he arrives
Dante: _Suffering from Success_
Bro, it would be great if you start making videos about great chapter masters, and talk about some other badasses like Azrael, Logan Grimnar, Marneus Calgar and Gabriel Angelos ;)
Kaivan Shrike and Pedro Kantor would be worthy mentions as well.
I think he's done a Pedro Kantor video. And maybe a Gabriel Seth video? Hard to remember.
He didn't try to smuggle a nuclear weapon on to The Silent King's ship, it was the Rhino he took to go and meet The Silent King.
Sounds like Dante got a taste of Sanguinius' rage, and what they heard while he was in the sarcophagus. Was actually Sanguinius' angry yelling through him.
sanguinius said "fuck you, my son, keep struggling for me"
