Lorraine: I've never seen such a beautiful flower made. I absolutely loved your tutorial! You made what looked like a very difficult flower to make actually look very easy. I can't wait to make some. Thank you so much!!!
parchment paper is thicker than vellum and is used more for white embossing and lace cut work. I use parchment paper for my flowers as it doesn't tear as easily as vellum
The brand I use is from Pergamano, but Marco's carries a good parchment as well. here is the link www.marcopaper.com/products.php?product=Glama-40%23-Clear.
I have Heartfelt Creation Classic Rose stamp & die set on order. I can't wait to start making them. Have you a video on how to ink the parchment paper? I just love how light & delicate they look. Thank you for showing how easy it is to make them & without hot glue. I love my fingers too much to start to burning the tips of them. lol.
Hi Yorlis, Thank you for this sweet comment. I wish I could make roses all day. I do love how delicate these ones are. Hope you're having a great week surrounded by lots of pink:) God Bless Cathy
Fantastic and oh so pretty . Thank you for this excitng video. I love the delicate look you achieve by using parchment paper. Hugs from Monica.... Spain
Hi Kristina, Thank you so much. Yes they did take a little work but they are so worth it. Besides, my days are so busy and crazy that sitting down to create a tiny delicate rode for no reason other than I want to and they are pretty is such a great stress reliever. Thanks for the lovely comment and I hope you have had a great start to the New Year. God Bless Cathy

Hi there, The glue tip is from the art glitter glue I sell in my store. The company doesn't ship the glue during the freezing months but I think I have one more tip put aside in my stock. It may come up as sold out in my store but if you really want one you could email me and I will see if I have one left. It really is perfect. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Have a great evening. God Bless Cathy
You know something, I have been questioning that myself and intended to do a little research on it. It may be the weight that makes a difference in the name but I suspect they are the same. Good Question!!!! Maybe someone else will see this and answer the question. In the mean time, I'm on the hunt:) Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment. God Bless Cathy
Huckleberry Herbs and Art love watching ur demo. where does one get all the bits from to make these really think i would like to give this a try. thank you. x
These lavender sprays are lovely. So sorry I missed your birthday. Happy Belated Birthday Cathy. Hope you had a great day. Your rose turned out lovely. Is the cooking parchment paper the same paper you used?
Hi Debbie, I'm so glad you enjoyed them. Thank you for the birthday greetings. The parchment paper came from a paper store and is slightly stiffer than the cooking kind. I have thought of testing that paper out though. I was just wondering if it would work myself. Happy Birthday to you too...right?:) God Bless Cathy
Hi Rachel, I hate to tell you I actually think it was 2 years ago now. Time races doesn't it? I hope all is well in England:) Happy New Year. God Bless Cathy
Enjoyed your tutorial as I'm looking for a way to attach parchment paper to foamboard, and duct tape doesn't want to stay adhered to the parchment paper. So - is the "glitter glue" you are using the same as Elmer's School Glue (PVA if I'm not mistaken) or is it a different formulation? If it is different (as would be indicated by the product's Material Safety Data Sheet), please provide a brand name so that I can search for it. Thanks, Cathy!
Hi There, The glue is a little thinner then school glue. It's formulated by a crafter who needed a fine glue for glitter techniques and such (lovely lady btw). I actually carry it in my store if you would like to check it out. I leave a link. It's named "Art Glitter Dries Clear". Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. God Bless CAthy

Adrianne Fane-Hervey Do you look for a particular brand, or will just any white parchment do?
The brand I use is from Pergamano, but Marco's carries a good parchment as well. here is the link www.marcopaper.com/products.php?product=Glama-40%23-Clear.

Thank you for showing how to do this w/o hot glue. I always get my fingers on small things like the centre when using hot glue!
Hi Roseanne,

Maybe you could put wax paper on top of the foam so you don't get glue on it?
