Thank you so much for showing how to make these flowers, that is something I haven't done much of. Your instructions and demonstration was so clear and helpful. The camera angle for the close up section was perfect. Again wonderful job!!! You have a gift for making things seem doable for the rest of us!
Thank you. I love the camera for the close up. It really gives a great view of what you are doing. I have not been very happy with the way my poppies have turned out but I have not tried water color paper. I know I just have to keep trying but it is hard to teach this old dog new tricks. Thanks again. I will play with them again.
Joyce B I glad you like the video and the new angle. If you want to know the paper I used, it was 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. I used the economical artist loft brand. I hope you are happy with how your new poppies flowers come out. And as an old dog myself, we can learn new tricks, it just take us a little longer to learn the trick...LOL...take care and have a wonderful day!
Hi my craft scrapbooking friend. I love doing flowers I want to make the flowers stiff, I have been using glossy accent but it's way too much money have you used any other stiffners you can recommend I need some ideas.
@@materialgirl338 I have mixed the starch with water but mainly use this for fabric flowers. Paper flowers, I use thick paper and mold it. It you use watercolor paper, once you put water color paint on it then mold it, it keeps the shape.
I really enjoy watching your videos but the quality isn't so great. you should invest in a good camera for your videos. I hope you don't get angry just trying to help. I love to see when you make flowers.
luv2craftcards no problem I do appreciate the comment! I know my iPad is not the best. I have a new go pro but I think I need a better camera. I have save up for one though. Which view was better? The go pro camera is the one closeup? Thanks for the advice and critique. I am sure other was thinking the same thing. Have a wonderful day!

Hi there, maybe try using mixture starch? Are your flowers made with fabric? I never used glossy accents for my flowers. Mod pod might work as well.
@@scrapinmaniacHow do you make the starch? And no flowers are are paper not fabric. What mod pod do you use?

What cardstock do you use for these flowers?
dgmlmax hi there, I used 140 pound watercolor paper. I hope this helps
