it was def just a teaser for "GENESIS"
For the people who are thinking that smiles's family and far from land is connected just because of Jerry/Diamond Eyes. It's not, sorry. But deadfish games won't do them like that.
When i looked at the kraken for the first time, it reminded me of diamondeyes lol
This is my HOPEFULLY correct understanding of the lore. (I might be completely wrong, I think I remember most of this info form on of your videos, but yeah.) The face in the intermission before the final voyage is connected to the Submarine Simulator game. That game and the FNAM games are connected, as the demon face from the Submarine Simulator is the same thing as the purple eyed entity from the Marcus games, and that monster on the final voyage is supposedly the vessel of it. This also connects to the demon face we see at the end of the intermission before the final voyage, it is a more twisted version of the original demon face from Submarine Simulator. Hopefully this is correct in some way.
The real lore is The kraken makes out with Jerry
The creator of FFL said that it isn't connected to Submarine Simulator.

i thought the robot that killed the guy in the first game was manta because in the first game there are two orange eyes in the final cutscene and in far from land manta is the only robot with 2 orange eyes also when you get to see a little bit of its body in the first games final cutscene the body looks similar to mantas body
In the first game it was shut in the doorway if you brighten it you can see a robot with a bacon hair and a green jaw

Submarine Simulator is set in 1952, the 73 years later segment may take place AT LEAST 2072.
i didnt know the previous project lead for af1hd played a pivotal role in this game

Lore in nutshell: Guy in Five nights at marcus was probably malcolm's brother and he got killed by robots and malcolm pretty much gets his revenge by destroying entire ship
shadow marcus aka the kraken was the first successful prototype of the genesis project, the only robot that has achieved real conciousness which allowed him to control the other robots and such
It’d be interesting if the Smiles family lore was connected to FNAM, tbh that’d be the one time I’d not mind a huge plot twist unlike a certain game…. *cough* Fnaf *cough*

Probably because this was before the creator got the lore sorted out
The submarine cant be the submarine from submarine simaulator because SS’s submarine is a pod like submarine but the far from land one is different design

What's if that's the case then that would open a huge can of worms.
I mean think of the possibilities of those two being the same universe and adding up the timeline?

another thing: i think malcolm actually lives, because in the normal ending, i can see that i presume is a lifeboat, going away from the crashing ship.
