Do you mean he appeared three times in a row? I am not sure if that is meant to happen as he never appeared more than once right after leaving the room and I was always able to deal with Kraken when he appeared in the vent even when having to leave. Maybe you are taking too long to go back into the room? That is the only reason I can think of but that is just a guess.
@@aidenmacedo2708 I have never heard of that happening to anyone and I am pretty sure it is not even supposed to happen at all in gameplay, even with Scrap in his normal state. If that is happening and you have to go to the vent for Kraken, enter before he attacks until Scrap appears and wait until you hear him in the vent. Once you hear him, react accordingly to the attack and you should be fine. If that does not help then it might just be some luck.

You are not really supposed to when that happens. The only way I know of preventing it is to avoid letting Rascal lock the room AT ALL as that combo tends to occur only AFTER Rascal locks the room. Try and look for Rascal no matter the circumstance and if you want to let him lock the room you can do that ideally at the end if you know Grayling will take too long, as I did with Shut wasting time and still finishing the night. Hope this helps! :D
Rascal pretty big so finding him it not a big proplem, the proplem is it wasting alot of your time so only get in maintenance room if you really needed it😗
Hey, it's me again. I once again need tips for beating the custom nights, I am currently on "Full Vessel" and cant even beat it which makes me worried for the S.O.S challenge. This game is way harder than the other two.
Full Vessel can be decently challenging but you do get a rough idea of S.O.S through it. Constantly focus on the motion detector for either Marcus and Grayling and keep a good ear out for their sound cues (except for C. Marcus). Always try to keep Growler back in his first stage if Shut is behind you so you have a clear shot to repair systems or deal with extra characters attacking at the time. Along with that, Shut will pause characters ready to move to their attack point (except QWERTY and Growler), though you can still get killed by a character if they were before Shut had started his scan. If you feel QWERTY would have appeared by a certain point, wait for him to appear to deal with him. If he appears in the midst of dealing with Shut, go for him first if you can, though you can have a shot at dealing with one other character first if he appeared a little later into the attack. As for Rascal, he only spawns in the maintenance room once you enter and will spawn in the middle hanging up-side down, or to the left and right. Always look for him under any circumstance as he may bug out and appear with Scrap when he is not supposed to, which can lead to unfair death after he locks the room. Hope this helps! :D I can give more information if need be. :) Sorry for the extremely late reply, trying to manage this with a higher prioritisation for school. :(
@@rykan27 I beat full vessel a week ago, I'm currently on S.O.S right now and I'm noticing 2 things, the most annoying character is scrap, not because he is hard to defend against but because if you hover your mouse over a pipe too quickly it glitches, not allowing you to leave the room. The second thing I have noticed is that there seems to be a pattern on when the animatronics attack, With the first animatronic to show up being growler with qwerty following after, and then classic marcus, shut, marcus, and then dahomy. Is there a way I can use this to my advantage? (also dont worry about the late reply, school is important.)
Do you want an explanation for every character or just the Custom Voyage characters? Just want to know if you understand them or not. I am still happy to either way. :D
Classic Marcus (the first unlockable character) will act identically to the Marcus from the main game. He will also follow the same path as regular Marcus. He does gain a quirk, however as he moves faster than regular Marcus yet he leaves quicker than him as well. You can cycle between the two if they are on the same AI and refill the water tank after dealing with both of them as you have enough to deal with both. If you get the same one twice in a row, refill water after that anyway for consistency. QWERTY (the second unlockable character) will occasionally appear on the cockpit window and bang on it multiple times to break into the ship. Using the horn will scare him off for a period of time. Unlike Growler you do not have to use the horn for a small period of time to push QWERTY back as he goes away the moment you start using the horn. Rascal (the third unlockable character) will appear in the maintenance room when you enter. Find him and click on him to scare him away or else he will lock the maintenance room door for a long period of time. He does not appear with Scrap but sometimes can once he locks the room, though it it not too apparent. Hope this helps! :D
I think someone did it on mobile but they utilised a now patched bug to win. I am not sure if there is anyone on mobile who beat it legitimately since then so you might be the first if you beat it! :D Do not quote me on that, though.
I have got a few questions about how to beat this mode easier. Firstly, what is the most dangerous animatronic you have to focus on the most. Secondly, what is the main pattern in the match (like where do you go after getting rid of shut and so on) Lastly, what are some tips to keep the animatronics out and survive the night. Also nice job completing the mode and have a damn good day. 😅
It is hard to consider what the most difficult character is to combat against though I would have to say it would both versions of Marcus since one can be easy to miss and the other can sometimes be forgotten. Aside from the start of the night (even if that is not entirely consistent), there is no real pattern. It is all about in the moment decision making in combos and what you do after dealing with Shut. The thought counts. Try and keep Growler as far as you can when you have to deal with Shut but leave him at any other point if you know you have the time. This helps with Shut immensely and gives you time to repair a system's pipe. One quirk about Shut is that once he hunches over, he will attack if you are not holding your breath and you can stop holding as soon as he hunches back up. You can wait for him for 3-4 steps to deal with something last second. Thanks for the kind words! :D Wish you the best, too. :) I apologize for the wait, been focusing on school a lot more recently. I am happy to give you more tips if need be. :D
i'm trying to beat it as well, can you answer these questions? can both marcus be at the door at the same time or one being ready to attack blocks the other one until you chase him off? in case you need to fend off both a marcus and the one in the dark vent, but shut makes you lose time, which one should you prioritize after shut goes away? and if you happened to count them, after how many seconds will each marcus and vent guy take to kill you once they are ready to attack?
Either Marcus can both appear at the same time though it is rare. You can deal with both of them at the same time too so if you hear Marcus when C. Marcus is at the door, wait until both leave one after the other. In this situation if Shut has just appeared and you are dealing with both Grayling and C. Marcus, focus on Grayling first and then drive away C. Marcus as he leaves quicker than Grayling. If Marcus is at the door, go for him first as he takes a little longer to leave and potentially get you killed while attempting to scare him off. If Shut appears and you can not deal with anyone, go for Grayling first either way as he can kill quicker than either Marcus. For either Marcus, their kill timers last for roughly 20 seconds before you die. Grayling's kill timer lasts for 16-17 seconds. Hope all of this helps enough! :D I am happy to answer more questions if you have any. :)
Marcus can be an issue but it is best to listen for his sound cue in the midst of an attack if Shut is not attacking. Just make sure you do not forget to deal with him when you can. :D C. Marcus is more of an issue without a sound cue and the speed but you have the reassurance of his glowing eyes. :)
Just try to be extremely quick in that regard if it is at the same time he appears, though if it is later you will not survive and that can be prevented by dealing with him earlier. It is about how it happens to influence how you prevent it. Hope this helps! :D
right now i beat night 4 just because scrap never appeared in the pipe room [EDIT] are the robots like has random ai each time you play a night because like scrap did not appear when i was trying to beat night 4 and i beat night 4 rykan?
You just got lucky with Scrap never appearing in the run. AI is not necessarily randomised however it depends on luck as to how much they move. Scrap only appears and never 'moves' so it is just one criteria that has to be met. You have a pretty high chance on lower AIs to never see him. :D
@@aidenmacedo2708 That is fine. :D I just explained it as most likely why you never saw him appear on Voyage 4 and generally how the AI works. The game can be so random that Shut sometimes would appear during Custom Voyages seconds in so overall things are pretty random. :D
I gave someone else this information but I think it covers most general struggles when it comes to the mode. :) You can not necessraily prevent bad timings/combos so the best way to go about it is to prioritise the bigger threat in an attack and manage your time overall with dealing everything else. I have heard about some terrible combos happening (which are allegedly impossible though I am not entirely with the examples I have seen) though most cases they are not too frequent. One combo tip I can give is if Grayling comes at the same time as Marcus, focus on Grayling first as he has a shorter kill-timer than either Marcus. Try and focus driving when you know you have the time and to also deal with QWERTY if you have not seen him for a few moments. The rest really comes down to smart prioritisation and management between the task against threats. I did say that was it, but Shut takes some time before fully attacking as he only kills when he hunches over to 'scan' you. You can wait until 2-3 and sometimes even 3-4 footsteps before leaving a room, but try and hold your breath just as the prompt reappears as that is essential to pulling off something like that. You can also leave him as soon as he hunches back up, no need to wait for him to turn around or leave. Hope this helps and I wish you best of luck! :D I am able to help with more if need be. :)

I’m probably going to attempt this soon when I have a day off my work is there any advice you could give it doesn’t look the hardest but wouldn’t be suprised if I’m missing something my entirely
What you are seeing you are not really missing too much in terms of strategy. The main thing is the way I handle certain things here I would handle slightly differently. The main point in that regard is how much I stalled characters out which is not the most efficient course of action in situations when in a combo, so it is best to go for an attacker immediately unless only one character will be ready to attack for a period of time before others come in. Another thing I will mention is that Grayling had a slight change a little after this video was posted where he would leave slightly quicker than in the video. This allows you to deal with him before Shut actually attacks and gives more of a chance to get him at the last moments of attack. Manage your time, deal with everyone efficiently and drive the boat for longer periods of time when you can to give yourself that extra push for later. I hope this helps if you need more in-depth tips on characters specifically, I am happy to deliver! :D Best of luck to you! :)
@@rykan27 k thanks I’ve given it a couple goes and the farthest I got was 1400 before I got completely fucked by the guy that comes behind you since he decided to stare at me for a whole minute before letting everyone else have a go at me before him I hate him so much
I am so sorry for taking a while to respond! D: Had a few things on my hands which took up my time. :( I am a little confused at what you are referring to but I assume Shut? When he is doing his scan/stare, he will pause any upcoming characters that are not already attacking. So if you see Marcus move as you go to deal with Shut, deal with Marcus immediately after, but you can deal with him as Shut is walking towards you, same with C. Marcus. Try and get to Grayling before Shut starts to walk towards you so you can deal with him early but if he has appeared just when Shut started walking, leave him for later and you should be able to drive him off. Hope this helps with some things! :D Happy to give more if need be. :)
You have to complete the three challenges in Custom Voyage which will unlock each character and will earn a subsequent badge. Hope this helps you out! :D
I assume Search and Rescue? If so that is definitely where I and many other people struggled but it is about finding a flow with C. Marcus along with the rest. Always keep a good eye on the motion detector as it is essential to have a proper chance of survival at this point of the game. Either Marcus give around 20 seconds before they kill you, though they can kill you while pulling the shower lever so be careful with your time. If you feel you missed one at some point and you would have seen them by that point, go over and check to be sure no one is there. Hope this helps you out with S&R! :D
Try and keep a heavy eye on the motion detector. That is the main thing you should worry about overall. @@NightMare893. When Shut is attacking and doing his scan, no other characters can move until he starts leaving. @@rykan27 also do the animatronics move in movement opportunity waith a set time or theyre just random? Beacause theres a run on youtube where they allow the monkey lookin guy to enter the ship and they somehow still know when marcus comes
@@carrier4795 They were just roughly guessing when either Marcus appeared and neither was the lever supposed to be used when Growler broke in, so it is kind-of an invalid run with that information. You are pretty much intended to die when Growler breaks in as he was partially bugged for a while. No characters are set to appear at any time, it is all mostly random and about improvisation. Hope this helps clear things up! :D
@@carrier4795 Tip for you: Wait for four spaced "beeps" if growlers break in. If the timing is right, then you should be able to distinguish between other animatronics after a few attempts. Another tip is to never let growling get past stage 3, and always horn at him a while after he turns phase 2.

@CasualDjungelskogBeliever I would leave it at just S.O.S 5000 Distance as the hardest thing for right now as nothing else is really intended beside that.
I would do Hard Mode for the main game but I do not find it significant enough in terms of difficulty and it is not equally as difficult as the Max Mode by default. S.O.S and the whole Custom Night is not affected by the game's difficulty and I am pretty sure it is set to normal no matter what you set it to in-game. The hardest thing I have left is S.O.S 5000 Distance and that will not be considered unless there is a badge added or if it is stated there will never be a badge for it.

Man I don’t even know how to deal with a Scrap and Rascal combo-
You are not really supposed to when that happens.

Hey can you give a guide for all the animatronic just asking because I’m bored
Do you want an explanation for every character or just the Custom Voyage characters? Just want to know if you understand them or not. I am still happy to either way. :D
Custom voyage

Where is shadow marcus from FNAM 1
Shadow Marcus is the Kraken. They are the same character.
@@rykan27 thanks a lot for answering, that's gonna be helpful

Marcus is the real problem
Marcus can be an issue but it is best to listen for his sound cue in the midst of an attack if Shut is not attacking. Just make sure you do not forget to deal with him when you can. :D C. Marcus is more of an issue without a sound cue and the speed but you have the reassurance of his glowing eyes. :)

What should i do when marcus appears at the same time the shower breaks?
Just try to be extremely quick in that regard if it is at the same time he appears, though if it is later you will not survive and that can be prevented by dealing with him earlier. It is about how it happens to influence how you prevent it. Hope this helps! :D

You just got lucky with Scrap never appearing in the run. AI is not necessarily randomised however it depends on luck as to how much they move. Scrap only appears and never 'moves' so it is just one criteria that has to be met. You have a pretty high chance on lower AIs to never see him. :D

Hi, can you give me tips on beating this mode?
I gave someone else this information but I think it covers most general struggles when it comes to the mode. :)
You can not necessraily prevent bad timings/combos so the best way to go about it is to prioritise the bigger threat in an attack and manage your time overall with dealing everything else.

Shadow Marcus WTH!?

I am a little confused at what you are referring to but I assume Shut? When he is doing his scan/stare, he will pause any upcoming characters that are not already attacking. So if you see Marcus move as you go to deal with Shut, deal with Marcus immediately after, but you can deal with him as Shut is walking towards you, same with C. Marcus. Try and get to Grayling before Shut starts to walk towards you so you can deal with him early but if he has appeared just when Shut started walking, leave him for later and you should be able to drive him off.
Hope this helps with some things! :D Happy to give more if need be. :)

I assume Search and Rescue? If so that is definitely where I and many other people struggled but it is about finding a flow with C. Marcus along with the rest. Always keep a good eye on the motion detector as it is essential to have a proper chance of survival at this point of the game. Either Marcus give around 20 seconds before they kill you, though they can kill you while pulling the shower lever so be careful with your time. so wait, I'm kinda confused here, what was that thing during the cutscene?? was it shadow marcus??
Shadow marcus and kraken are the same people
@@bloxxer717 wait what
Yes, they are the same character. They are also part of the reason every robot is hostile.
@@bloxxer717 aight I just beat the game and found out that was true, cuz a early design of kraken was named "shadow marcus"
Idk go complite FFL in hard Mode whitxh full game play? And you complite S.O.S in hard Mode?
I would do Hard Mode for the main game but I do not find it significant enough in terms of difficulty and it is not equally as difficult as the Max Mode by default. S.O.S and the whole Custom Night is not affected by the game's difficulty and I am pretty sure it is set to normal no matter what you set it to in-game. The hardest thing I have left is S.O.S 5000 Distance and that will not be considered unless there is a badge added or if it is stated there will never be a badge for it.
I wonder who that purple prototype is
I assume you are referring to Rascal, the one who appears in the maintenance room that makes a lot of noise when clicked on. He seems pretty agile if he is affected by the wrench. :(
@@rykan27just to correct you, I was actually referring to the one from the cutscene completeing S.OS
@@Unexpected987 Ah. My bad! D: That is supposed to represent Shadow Marcus before he took the form of the Kraken.
Sorry for the wait on the response. :( Kind-of slipped my mind trying to get through other comments.
@@rykan27 So I think I understand what you’re saying.
So apperently, the secret cutscene takes place after shadow Marcus killed Josh and the fire which led to shadow marcus being in the ship. And basically it somehow formed into the kraken and then the far from land events start.
@@Unexpected987 The Kraken used its victim's various body parts to create his own, more powerful body. The cutscene most likely shows one of the many victims he killed and now holds part of them in the flesh (literally).
8/20 5000 distance when? 🗿
When a badge is added, most likely. I would go for it with genuine incentive. :D
If bro work there irl he will know what to do.
Edit: While me took me like 10 hours to beat the final voyage💀💀
We all go at our own pace! :D It took me roughly 5 hours to get a recording of this mode so I still had my fair-share of struggles. :)
bro beat 8/20 TWICE
I did and I am proud! :D
