Definitely my new favorite mode of all time. Parasitic Pals is the 3rd mode from Playtime with Percy, by FazieFunbear (part of the Boss CN). I had the incredible opportunity to playtest and assist in the game’s development (imo it is one of my new favorite fangames of all time, it’s incredible, I’ll be doing a full playthrough at some point), which I still can’t appreciate enough. I additionally helped balance all of the max modes in this game (especially this one, I spent the most time balancing it), and I personally find this mode INCREDIBLY fun, and super enjoyable to pull off. However it is quite difficult, and requires a lot of practice and understanding of the mechanics. On the MML, it’s considered top 30, which is a pretty respectable achievement to say the least. I was the first victor of this mode during development, so I’m considered the verifier. PLEASE go support the other victors of this mode, they HIGHLY deserve it. Anyway, enjoy this video, I hope you all have the chance to try it out at some point!

Playtime with Percy is a task-based FNaF fangame released in 2023 by FazieFunbear. It follows a guy named Nick, tasked by his boss to watch over Percy’s Playhouse for the week. Upon arriving, he finds a small tamagotchi he uses to pass the time away. However, this tamagotchi was recalled due to malfunctions. What could go wrong?

Heads up: most people don’t notice but on the CN menu, on the portrait of the Poodle, you can toggle between all 3 with the arrows. Their ais don’t go up together when you turn them up manually, you actually need to scroll through the poodles and turn them up individually if you want them active.
Additionally, this max mode harbors gameplay that is NOT RNG, but rather is entirely skill based, if you’re fast and understand the mechanics and strategies well enough. However it is what we call: manageable RNG, where the RNG present in the mode is skill based due to how much time the player has to react etc.
ALSO, this is an older version of the game (close to release version), which contains Viola, the pink rabbit. They were replaced with Polly Possum in the latest versions, due to a controversy surrounding the person who created Viola.

Games normally have fairness.
Pal doesn't have to be fair, he had a crap ton of opportunities to kill, but that wouldn't be fun.
I think this can be said for all the other Tamas in the night (maybe including the bunny since she’s infected by Pal) and all are fairly fair.
Also, the one you use to gain the charges and end the night only attacks you if you ignore it for too long, so that’s further proof that the Tamas are fair despite being evil, which I appreciate the fairness of things.
@@copycat500 the story (as I understand it) goes that Pal (the pal Percy) controls everything you see in the game, including the animatronic hostility throughout the week, and affecting different events + its eventual connection with Percy through the repair. Then Pal reaches a form in which he basically creates and controls the TamaTerrors to do his bidding. So really the boss is entirely him playing a sort of elaborate chess match with you. Like The Joker or Jevil, he thinks everything is a game, and all he wants is to be best friends for ever, in his own twisted way.

I've just now finished Parasitic Pals around 30 minutes ago, and I must say this was really stressful. First it took me a second to realize I can just leave some of the dudes alone while I get the tasks done, then deal with them when I need to! Anyways, I love this game, but this 8/20 mode genuinely scares me. It's so chaotic.

I enjoy how the custom hour character portraits are presented in the PAL boss.
In the regular one, the animatronics are all so chill and happy, even having some sort of attitude.
Here, they're out for your blood. Even Truman, the only one not ripped up, is deranged beyond all belief.

as someone with adhd this ten minutes of pure concentration and multiple things happening all at once that you have to look at and note in your head and pay attention to with no sense of rhythm or a routine stresses me out so much and it’s so insane that this is humanly possible
Totally get that, I find myself having ADHD tendencies sometimes, makes sense. Sometimes the hyperactive narrow focus portion of ADHD helps to streamline your thought process, which is how I tend to go about it. You definitely need focus hard, it’s not easy! Just beat this (fluked from third charge), my hand was shaking so much I nearly misclicked the cups multiple times.
Although it took me 200+ deaths and also dozens of resets, this is one of my favourite challenges I have done in any game.
Absolutely amazing mode, even if it is extremely learny due to all the possible combos that can absolutely destroy your time if you aren't prepared.
Huge congrats!! Yeah, the combos can be brutal at times... It really does come down to getting familiar with as many as possible and getting used to how the characters act. Really great job though! GGs :)

The fact that this insanity barely breaches the top 30 in the Ultimate Max Mode list deeply frightens me. This seem like such a struggle. A struggle that is manageable, but still immensely stressful.

I JUST BEAT PARASITIC PALS AND WAS SHAKING FOR THE PAST 5 MINUTES
THE ABSOLUTE CRAZIEST PART ABOUT IT WAS I LITERALLY JUST HOPPED IN BECAUSE I WAS BORED.
I'd done DAYS, maybe even a couple of WEEKS practicing this mode, and then gave up. Fast-forward some time later and I'm struggling with the creepypasta challenges in Oblitus Casa, so I tell my stream, "I'm gonna just play Playtime With Percy cause WHY NOT."
FIRST TRY I GET TO THE THIRD CHARGE. I'D NEVER EVEN GOTTEN PAST THE 2ND.
SECOND TRY? I ACTUALLY BEAT IT !!!!!!
I LITERALLY SCREAMED OUT OF EXCITEMENT.
PERCY'S BEST FRIEND WAS SO MUCH EASIER AND I AIN'T N E V E R DOING AGGRESIVE AIs WITH THESE BRUH.

@@fettrecon052787 yeah of course! Sadly, that can only be unlocked if you beat both max modes on aggressive. If you’ve been able to beat Parasitic Pals normally, it is absolutely doable to beat Aggro. Less stalling is involved, but the mode IS faster and less of an endurance test. I highly recommend it ;)

I think even if I DID consider doing that, It'd be another time. Doing normal by ACCIDENT and then immediately moving onto aggro would be too stressful.

Just beat this a couple minutes and am still shaking from it. This mode is by far the hardest thing I've ever done in a video game period.

This game is such a treat and this mode looks very fun, I’ve been working my way through the maxmodelist for fun the past month and recently beat Percy’s Best Friend with aggressive AI, I’m a long way off of this challenge but I’m both excited and terrified for it
Gotta say I think PwP is one of my favourites on the list so far due to its uniqueness and the fact that it’s not reliant on RNG but rather on skill so you can always make improvements, fantastic game and good job on the clear!

What is the exact mechanic of the bird guy? I could never unlock them so idk. Also I know it's not in this run but what does the unlock of the one that's not the sun in the normal mode do aswell? Couldn't unlock them either. I'm not very good at this game.
Totally understandable! Here are the mechanics.
Truman (the bird) plays an annoying advertisement on either the TVs, Cameras, or EMPal. You must click on it to get rid of it when it appears. If you don’t do it in 8 seconds on Normal and 4 seconds on Aggro, he kills you.
Helios (the Sun guy), starts on the stage and progressively goes to the various corner rooms. His goal is to collect every piece of himself (4 pieces total, one in each room), in which after he collects all 4, he’ll kill. If you hear him laugh, he’ll be in one of the 4 corner rooms, trying to get a piece. You must shock him to send him away. If he gets a piece from one of the rooms, he won’t go back into it.

Sunny Sheep (the one that isn’t the Sun) basically sits in your office the entire night. She stands up at random throughout the night, and her mask falls off when she does so. You have to find her mask somewhere in the office as soon as possible and drag it back to her face. If you do it fast enough, she sits back down. If you don’t do it fast enough, it’s death. Hope this helps!!
Truman: basically el chip from ultimate custom night. Click on the screen to get his adds off.
Sunny sheep: sleeping on the office, she’ll get up frequently and drop her face, find her face and get it back to sunny sheep before 3 seconds.

I usually like to say that once you learn how to deal with a single charge by itself, you basically can beat the mode.
I’m going to copy paste a response I sent to another player who was struggling with parts of the mode as well, hopefully this helps. If you want more specific tips, please lmk!
1. I would suggest not to wait for Opti, unless you really need to. He has a 14 second kill timer which is super lenient. I’d suggest finishing the task you were just on and then dealing with him.
2. Cam Poodle should be dealt with when you see the screen effect start to worsen. There’s actually 2 things that may help you understand this night a bit better. Everytime Cam poodle appears, he makes a laugh, which corresponds EXACTLY to which cat he spawns in. So in total, 5 sound cues for each cam. If you memorize where each of the 5 correspond to, you’ll know where he spawns always. Same deal with Pal, he has 4 TV graphics when he spawns in, if you memorize which camera relates to which graphic, you’ll always know where he is when he spawns in. At the same time, Pal also requires you to search all other cams before the item spawns in the last unchecked camera, so you can go as fast as you want.
3. Roachi actually have a kill timer, it doesn’t matter how many are up. They have a kill timer of 15 seconds on normal mode, so make sure to deal with them as soon as possible. There usually isn’t 4, but 1 that lingers for too long.

im curious, whats your priority list with them? like you have a mini percy banging on the walls or the big one banging on the door, who do you block?
Great question! The priority list sorta shifts throughout the night. There’s a lot of different tips I could give but the best one I can give is focus on each of the specific threats as they come to you. If there are combos, they will never be impossible, and there are checks in place to prevent certain ones from occurring. Bruti can never come if Pal is coming to the door, but if Bruti already started attacking before Pal starts coming, you’ll have enough time to deal with him before Pal arrives. Same with Opti, Bruti gives 10 bangs before he breaks through, while Opti gives 14 seconds. There’s more than enough time to deal with each threat, it’s just a matter of knowing who and what to prioritize, in addition to moving fast with the tasks.

Then once you do, set it up so that you can extract compressed files like Percy’s. To extract, right click on Percy’s, then click extract here. Once you do that, it’ll make a folder on your desktop and the game will be in there.

ngl i think the most intense part out of the whole run is the survival part, mostly because of nerves
Partially, I’d say the hardest part is probably getting consistent enough to do the same charge 5 times in a row, because that’s basically what the night is lol.

There any other way to find from what's side will attack Toma-Bruti(the one who break the wall). Because he is literally disappear in cameras and i can't counter it
He uses directional audio, if you hear him breaking in on your left ear, that means the left wall has to be covered by the cart, and vice versa for the right wall :)
I don't really like "left or right ear" mechanics, but it should be easier counter him

@@davorantovic903 practice and consistency! It takes time. It’s great to practice with those presets just to get used to how the game plays. You also begin to anticipate patterns often so it becomes easier. Congrats though! That’s a good achievement

@@Caiden1611 you mean TamaBruti? He plays directional audio, you have to listen which ear he plays his audio in (breaking the wall noise), and hold the cart over that side to prevent him from breaking in.

I’ve done around 15 attempts already with this and I haven’t gotten past the first charge once
It’s always that I run out of time even when I’m like 2 task away from the next charge
The most annoying character to me is the one where it blurs your screen and u gotta find him on cams he always make me waste so much time

@@DiceGames I saw that when ever Percy played the cup game with you, you somehow made the e.m.pal go to the side of your screen even when you didn’t tilt you screen that way how did you do that?
@@gentalmen9472 it’s possible that I was already tilting to one side when I did it; the cup attack is always central, so it’s easy to remember to either do it on the left or right side of the screen :)

@@achillesemmanuelmartinez7770Tama-Bruti: He will make rumbling noises and shake your screen time to time, But the audio will be directional. So pull the cart he is heard in to stop his rumbling. He can appear in cams but that is useless.
Tama-Opti: He will start at the middle cam (Idk what the cam Number is) then slowly make his way up Everytime you flip up your camera. After 2 or so phases he will go to one of the corner rooms. Shock him to send him back. He will make a audio cue on some phases, and not on some other phases.
Tama-Lanky (I forgor his name): He will be on your Newest best pal. He will slowly grow out of it limb by limb. If you don’t do tasks to send him back. You will meet your doom.
Tama-Roaches: They will occasionally appear on your screen clinging onto you. Throw them away. If you don’t do it in time you will meet your end.

It’s quite intense and crazy, and that’s Percy’s!! It’s a tamagotchi inspired fangame where you play minigames on one to complete a night. I highly recommend checking it out, it’s one of the most fun task based games I’ve ever played ;)

I do! It turns out i am NOT deaf! Apparently I had mono mode enabled. I have yet to try a proper night but i did find the issue, and I'm super excited to give it another shot without Tamabruti being rng anymore.@@DiceGames
