- This is part 2 of using the PTO auger to set posts for the driveway entrance. I'm using a Mahindra 4540 4wd. The opening is 11' 6" and the height is around 13'. Watch for my scare on the ladder. lol.

Looking great! I'm along this ride with you. We've got 27 acres bare land and a 2538 Mahindra TLB. Picking up attachments as we need them. We're working on the driveway right now but will have a 30'x40' equipment barn up later this year. I'm going to follow along with you so I get to see the do's and don'ts! One thing I learned about the auger? Have the wife stand to the side and as you drill, nudge the tractor forward as you get deeper. As you saw, the auger angles in toward the tractor as it gets going. ;)
