Been thinking of getting myself an NB or NC Miata for my daily since my current daily driver just got totaled by a reckless driver. I feel like having a car that small would help keep it out of danger from careless drivers, plus Miatas seem really fun to drive everyday. Also, nice to see those Periphery and VoM logos and even the Tiny Moving Parts sticker.
if anything, it’d put you in more danger lol. you don’t know how many times cars… mainly trucks, have nearly merged into me because they can’t see me

Dude thanks for the detailed walk around! More info on the beer money ecu please. Why'd you chose that over me442, ms3, etc.?
I met the guy who runs that company when I was buying my injectors off FB marketplace. He told me about his ECUs and I was planning on a MS3 but his were like half the price. It's done well so far for me.
@@djrifting yeah I sent an email to see if they could compare the me442 but couldnt. I'l have to wait a little longer

What's the lip in the front and sides ?
15x8 -15 on the front?? thats nuts, I run 15x8 0 on my NA with cut knuckles and I do hit my upper arm and sway bar, but even with -8 deg of camber the lip is right up on the fender line
I have rolled and pulled the front fenders, that’s why they fit

Hey do you have just a factory torsen? I’m a track guy and my buddies building a dailyish drift car and keeps talking about welding an open. Thoughts?
I actually went from welded to a torsen, and it’s noticeably worse. Torsens tend to open up when you’re not on throttle, so I would personally recommend a welded diff. Plus you can sell the torsen and make some money
Why don't you like the mishimoto radiator? Quality? Fitment? Or maybe a different brand loyalty?
go with koyo instead, mishimoto's customer service is kinda stinky
@@90b36bfun fact a lot of people don’t know but mishimoto is a rep of koyo, doesn’t necessarily mean they are bad but a lot of people don’t know that
Is the left rear fender dent above the wheel also from punching the car in anger like it is with mine? lol Did the brakes and gotta say I absolutely despise the way the parking brake adjuster works
The dent is usually from the battery, from what I've heard. The mount breaks and the battery dents the gender.

Yeah, the NA got price gouged and people went to the NB because of it, now those are going through the same thing as the na
They aren’t too unaffordable, I got my 99 NB in December of 2022 with 52k miles, bone stock, and one owner for 9K. They aren’t as cheap as before but 9K isn’t bad.

Where did you get the front lip ?
how much do you have with the turbo kit? is it reliable?
How much power? I haven't dyno tested it, but I'd say between 200-250whp. It's on 10psi right now. Also it's been pretty reliable besides one of my intercooler pipes rubbing and eventually getting a hole causing a boost leak. With proper tuning and making sure it doesn't run lean or too much boost, it should last a long time.
Where did you get your headlights from
I made them from OEM lights. 8:25 explains.

Is that a common thing (smelling gas from exhaust pipe) got a Nb to daily and have been smelling that sometimes…
Lol mines straight piped so it’s normal for me. You might have an exhaust leak if you’re a stock
My NB is on E85 and I don’t smell the fuel with an open down pipe
@@mozo191 maybe it’s because I run kinda rich. My cruising AFR is 12-14, WOT is 10.5.
