Man I know the pmv wasn't intended to be interpreted this way but it screams ableism when frostfur is talking to her daughter. Like 'you have a good life, an easy life' and 'we all envy you' - basically romanizing her disability. Like somehow she has it better because she doesn't have to work as much of the rest of them and they wish they had her struggles instead of their own because her disability makes her life easier (both of which aren't true at all). It shows the treatment of her disability from her clanmates and family. Even her mother who has good intentions actively patronizes her when she is talking to cinderpelt. Honestly, I like this pmv viewing it from that perspective. There aren't really any warrior pmvs that tackle this subject and I know you didnt mean for it to be interpreted this way but you did a really good job representing the patronizing people do when speaking to individuals with disabilities. I'm not physically disabled but mentally, and this really stood out to me and I connected greatly to cinderpelt which I hadn't ever done before. Great job on this!!! (edit: grammar lmao)
I’m glad you perceived it in that way. I feel like them saying “ we all envy you “ meaning how well her life became as a medicine cat and being able to serve her clan in her own way. They envy her because of her perseverance. I’m happy I was able to make you relate to a character that I care so deeply about!
Ahh I love your idea of it as well! There are so many ways you can interpret this and that is what makes this pmv so special imo! Your work is fantastic and I'm excited to see what else you have in store!!
This IS from a Garfield the cat thing though! I'm not sure if the music behind it is, but the voice lines definitely are. This was from a special called Garfield On The Town, made in the 80's- I had it on VHS when I was a kid. Garfield accidentally ends up on the streets for a bit and finds his family in an old abandoned italian restaurant, which is where he was born. This dialog is from when he leaves to go back to Jon, because he can't fight or catch mice.
@@nonamenoname9322 I usually see her as like a silver blue or dark grey too. I just wanted to make different character design and have her scars pop out more 😌 ( also I wanted to give her more of a resemblance to her mother )
Might come from multiplayer games like Animal Jam where the full names would get censored if you put it like it should be, so names like Silverstream became Silver'stream to get around the chat filter.
