For example if I am using video then switch camera off, I want it to reopen on video. Hope you can help, thanks.
I love your youtube vids on the Galaxy. I had a quick question on a tutorial I've seen that I think you created regarding photo editing. The task is simple, just editing out someone's face and copy and pasting another image on top of the cut out, like a mesh. I cant find it anywhere but I used to be able to this on a note 10. Can you recommend a tutorial or link? Thanks!
Thank you, Brent, for your, always interesting, and informative videos. I wanted to make sure I understood you correctly when you mentioned (11:45) that the pro mode video feature was taken out by Samsung. I just bought (I always wait until more affordable) mine and it has a pro video option. Are you talking about something entirely different? What'd I miss?
Also video! The pro mode doesn't seem to have access to the note 10 plus wide angle camera though. I wish we had a pro mode for shooting video too. Hopefully with a next update
I don't have a video on filters with the note 10 specifically. Mostly because I don't have my moment case for it yet (though they said it's finally ready to ship-after over 2 months of waiting). I used to use the moment lenses and had their filter adapter for their lenses, with some 62mm filters, but all that stuff got stolen, so if I need a filter on my note 10 I've just been holding my dslr filters over the lens, but that only works for photos, not so much for video. I might buy some of the new moment filters for their cases, the ones that fit directly into the cases, over the in-phone lenses, not over the moment lenses. That would be the easiest method for attaching a filter to a note 10/10+, though it's pretty expensive since you'd need the case and then the filters.
Hi. I'm new to the note 10+ and wanted to know how to take non-fuzzy action shots e.g. from a moving vehicle - but without going through pro mode. Is there a single click way of doing this?
I used to be able to record super steady video on 1:1 on my Galaxy note 10+? Super steady now automatically changes the resolution to 9:16 how do I get it back?
Thank you for this video. Very informative. Can I ask about the actual processing. When I shoot in pro mode and zoom in close to something, the jpeg version is indeed a close-up but the dng raw file is not. Is this how it works or is there a setting I should be using?
That's because in Pro Mode, it only allows you to use the main lens, so when you zoom in, it's actually just cropping in on the main lens and not using the telephoto lens, so it saves the original raw image, and gives you the cropped in jpeg as well.
@@BrentHall Can I ask another question? Can I change the timeout settings of the camera? I'm trying to shoot birds at a bird table from a tripod using my SPen. Whilst I am waiting for a bird to arrive, the camera screen goes off and if I long press the SPen button to get the screen back it is no longer in Pro Mode. I tried changing the screen timeout to the maximum of 10 minutes but it does not seem to work in the camera mode. Any way around this please? Thanks in advance. Carol
Always wanted to know how to use pro mode on my Galaxy phones. Glad found this page. Would you be making similar vid with S20 Ultra? Just got one There is a new beast in town
No, 3rd party apps can only use up to the max shutter speed set by the manufacturer. Samsung could easily change it with a firmware update, though they never have before.
My old galaxy S8 plus has pro video mode in video. I can adjust my iso, exposure, white balance, frame rate and quality of the video. Many new Samsung products can't do that.
Do you know if the note 10 (not 10+) can take good pictures of far away objects for example the moon/stars? If so what would be the appropriate aperture and what not for capturing a photo like that? Thank you in advance 💗
"Good" is a very relative term, unfortunately. Yes, it can take moon and star images, however; your definition of "good" may vary from mine or others'. Personally, I think that the moon is still one of the hardest things to photograph with a phone (any phone), as they're just not well suited for it hardware-wise, and I don't do it. Stars, on the other hand are a little more doable with phones (including the note 10, to a point) and more decent night sky images can be obtained with the phone if you're willing to put some knowledge, time, and effort into making the image. I have quite a few videos on photographing the stars and milky way with phones, and while they may not all be with the note 10, the principles are the same for any phone or camera,
