I've got to get it open to remove some metal that got stuck in the charging port. If I could remove that part then I think it would charge wirelessly. Because right now it won't charge wirelessly because it says it detects metal. My phone works fine it just can't charge anymore because the port broke and I stupidly used something I shouldn't to fix it and now it won't even charge wirelessly this is a nightmare. I'm forced to use my stupid free iPhone SE. I Hate iPhone

This is older technology that Samsung's must pay other people to use. Business and changing technology that we use day to day is something any company walks a fine line in doing. The headphone jack was apart of that slow inevitable change that will continue until wireless charging is better and we can eliminate the charging port or even the side buttons of the phone.

False. I have a repair business so I know. You're supposed to add a drop or two of 91% isopropyl alcohol to both sides of the battery. Look at the adhesive design, do you see the channels? That's for the alcohol to flow through and weaken the adhesive bond for fast and easy removal. iPhone adhesive is more dangerous as the stretch adhesive can break causing you to have to pry it out with force which you should only attempt with a fully depleted battery.

For Professionals, it's great to have the jack to plug in another microphone. For me as a gamer who can use headphones for a very long time and lose them within 10 seconds (with the cable, it's bigger so it's easier to find), the port is also very usefull.

You can disable bixby in the settings so you can turn Off your Phone with the Power Button only

@@E620SE Ya I know, they are amping up their mah capacities now since they learnt their lesson from the Note7 fiasco of course, and yes their Galaxy flagship devices aren't all day battery and they stated on their marketing ads lol, only tops around 8 hrs. So the only way they can provide a true 24 hr battery is to innovate their battery department.

This is older technology that Samsung's must pay other people to use. Business and changing technology that we use day to day is something any company walks a fine line in doing. The headphone jack was apart of that slow inevitable change that will continue until wireless charging is better and we can eliminate the charging port or even the side buttons of the phone.

Snapdragon chips already come with FM receivers, you can listen to FM radio without issue.

False. I have a repair business so I know. You're supposed to add a drop or two of 91% isopropyl alcohol to both sides of the battery. Look at the adhesive design, do you see the channels? That's for the alcohol to flow through and weaken the adhesive bond for fast and easy removal. iPhone adhesive is more dangerous as the stretch adhesive can break causing you to have to pry it out with force which you should only attempt with a fully depleted battery.

For Professionals, it's great to have the jack to plug in another microphone. For me as a gamer who can use headphones for a very long time and lose them within 10 seconds (with the cable, it's bigger so it's easier to find), the port is also very usefull.

I'd absolutely take a small downgrade to keep common sense things like expandable memory, a headphone Jack, FLAT NON BREAKABLE SCREEN, and reasonable camera! I love th S Pen and really do use it for various things... if someone comes up with external S Pen technology that can be affixed to various devices, I'm heading to something more sensible!
