Take it to a mechanic asap. They are known for terrible transmission. If you catch it early you might save it. You are entering limp home mode, usually from lack of pressure in fluid but sometimes the computer is at all fault or sensor. Worse case is often torque converter which you don't want.

Hi I have a fiat freemont cross road 3.6 , we have recently done a oil change new air filter , trans oil and filter and spark plugs, I have a shuttering issue sometimes and. It doesn’t idle properly all the time , I have cleaned the throttle body the map sensor and air intake sensor , nothing is working took it to the dealer they just said start with spark plugs no luck there.

Just cut out piece where the tcm should be and nothing there. The plastic that is there is molded to fit a tcm but empty. It is a 2012 Dodge journey so I am wondering about another location. Your video is great and visually perfect so I know I have the location correct that was shown.

Hey guys, I am getting Error Code P0957 Auto Shift Manual Mode Circuit Low in a 2010 Dodge Journey. The vehicle will drive fine most of the time but will suddenly shift into second and redline the RPMs if I am over 70kph. Once I pull over, put it in park, shut off the vehicle, and restart the issue goes away. Any idea how to remedy this issue? Thanks.

Hi every one. I have a freemont 2.0 4x4 170ps. Automatic. The only problem it started now like 1 month. Is when I drive R.eserve and after D.rive it goes off the engine and it shows me the oil lamp. I did service oil changed and all the filters and I make a reset. I make a diagnose OBD. The car it's "clean" but still doing this off the engine. Thanks a lot for your time.
Also be aware that when replacing these units, "especially with a used one" it will have to be flashed at the dealer. So if it doesnt shift & continues to have a p0700 code, thats why.

My 2014 Dodge Journey only goes into high gear. It was in lower gear until it warmed up then jumped into high gear. Is this due to a bad tcm?

I'm pretty certain that is the traction control module. The transmission control module and the engine ECU are both in the same unit under the bonnet

I changed the transmission solenoid in 2015 journey and still get error code 1745 and car is in Limp mode. Can the tcm cause this?

The pcm is integrated with the ecm. Thats why they call it the PCM. Powertrain Control Module. Its all one unit.
