If I told you headlight assemblies can come out by tipping down and back, and much of what youre doing is pointless. I just replaced both headlight assemblies using this method. I removed 6 bolts holding assemblies in, then removed 5 push pin clips removed grille, unlocked all bulbs in socket removed from back of assembly. Pushed back and down front cleared bumper cover slide forward repeated other side. Bam done put in bolts popped back in grille put in push pins. Litterally 30-40 minutes.
Hi there! Very nice video, I have to check if it will also work with my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country. But a question: You mentioned to have a place where one can buy the broken clips. I cannot find it in the description. Could you please tell me the correct size and where to buy? Thx a lot!
Without removing the whole bumper fascia could you have just removed the grille seeing all bolts are accessible from the top? I don't see why removing the whole fascia is necessary.
I hate my wife's 2012 dodge Journey. Worst vehicle I have ever owned and every repair that should be minor such as this, ends up being a stupid amount of work. Check out where the battery is!
Hi. Can you create a video on how to. Replace the heater hose y connector and also on replacing the heater hose assembly on a 2010 journey. Love your videos. Keep up the good work
While an awesome and versatile vehicle, even the most minor repair is a labor-intensive all-day project. And everything seems to be held together by these stupid trim clips.
hi you can show where there is a hole we can push through the cables (for example, from where the engine is) to the interior of the car to the driver. I want to plug the cable and I don't know which way. Thank you.
On the fiat freemont, you can remove the grill which clips of, which is waayyyy less work and less time consuming then removing the whole bumper and grill together, I know this as I did this literally last week.
@@CGenuis25 just take the three bolts up top, push the light back, tip up front, and pull out. Make sure you unplug everything first. If want a little more room you can pop loose the grille face. Should take you about 15-20 mins per side should not have to remove bumper at all.
This is exactly why I'm going to find a late 70s to early 80s pickup truck and ditch this new crap. I'm so sick of having to spend 8 hours (even though I don't think you have to) to just change a headlight. I remember changing my old 82 Chevy truck headlight in Oreilly's parking lot with a screwdriver. This is ridiculous.
What I’m the Sam hell? Do you really have to remove the whole front end to change a damn headlight? My headlight has severe moisture on the inside of the drivers side and I dry it out , but it comes right back!
Ours too. Moisture inside the left headlight not right, strange. I'm ignoring it for now . I'm thinking I'll take it off on a nice day or drill a hole and add desiccant and a plug. I WON'T buy a new assembly for $300 because some idiot designed it to fail. 😂🤓😎

You can get to the 3 bolts without taking the bumper cover off. You did a lot of work for nothing..

hi, is it possible to remove the light from the car without removing the bumper? Thank you
Yes, especially if you have a lift. The bumper removal seems like it was mostly just easy access for filming and drilling out the pins.
Thank you how do you adjust them
I have a 2018 dodge journey crossroad will this still work on mine
Thank You
Sheesh!!! You might as well replace the timing belt and water pump
great job , much appreciate
Can you tell me the tire size? 225 55 ? What size rim also… Thank you.

Excelente!
Hey guys my Journey has THREE screws (not just one) connecting the bumper cover to the fender.
On the fiat freemont, you can remove the grill which clips of, which is waayyyy less work and less time consuming then removing the whole bumper and grill together, I know this as I did this literally last week.
I think you can here too, I seen one other video guy did just that. Seemed way easier.
@Jessica Simonson it takes less then 3 min to do it this way 😄🙌
@@JessicaSimonson1976which video?

@JessicaSimonson1976 oh wow thank you!
My 2001 silverado can be done in literally 5 seconds. New cars piss me off so much.
Journeys give me a headache

@@Mittemo48Our 2018 Journey ended ip having a headlight recall that paid for two new headlights…. You might check on yours !
They would rivet them in. I Bought new surrounds for the headlights thinking they'd just pop in. Nope.
That bumper cover cover off you don't have take all of them off
Or put them ALL back 😂
Dumbest design of the year award this is ridiculous!
А по русски можешь? Цены не было бы! Я серьёзно!
Fucking 200 bucks labor fee to change this shit. Fucking FAIL DESIGN
So much stuped job just to take your money:)))))
One fucking whole day to change the fucking bulbs is headlights.
This video is for removing the whole headlight. Changing the bulbs takes a few minutes.
I'm surprised people don't like German designs.
