The Duprees are GREAT!
So smooth of a sound. My kind of music.lead singer still has it going on.
Sixty years on and still fantastic.
My fathers brother married a woman from Baltimore in the late 1930s. They raised 3 children there. I still have a few cousins there, but mostly everyone has passed away. I have been there about 3 or 4 times in my life. The last time being, 1970. I would bet my cousin Harvey from Baltimore loved the Dupree's . I know he loved doo whop and groups like yours. I cant talk to him about things like that anymore , because he just passed away a few months ago, in 2022. We were very close , especially on the telephone. I think his son might live in "Towson". This was a great concert. I like the brown suits. I never get tired of watching your shows and hearing you guys do your songs.
So glad they are keeping this wonderful music alive. ♥

Tommys a great guy and he deserves much credit for being on all the songs on the you belong to me album on coed records and a few on have you heard lp, that's a big percentage of their big hits. he needs to be acknowledged more along with John salvato, you guys keep the groups songs alive and you do them well but it's not your songs it's theirs, just give them the credit that's what the duprees fans want, the guys that recorded the coed label to get ALL THE CREDIT for the hits.

the Dupress of the 60s Mike Kelly and joey vann are the real Dupress
I have heard the "originals"...prefer the 1963+group and lead Tommy.
Good singers, but they are no more the Duprees than I'm the lead singer of the Jackson 5.
+Me112233 true none came close to recording on the records but Tommy has been associated with the group for many years and is the historian.
