I feel like we got cut a bit short on discussion on the box tbh. Like did the box have a lot of play? So many questions left unanswered. About the box.
Good review, you covered everything. Top of the head I don't know what would be direct competitors for this mouse but it feels like a pretty saturated market position right now. Meaning I'm personally missing design or functionality differentiator. Some type of uniqeness. But like you said, some people will find this a complete package for what they are looking for. Oh, btw., you brought up a really good point about bigger mice feeling lighter than smaller ones at the same weight because of the weight distribution.
i love the superlight with the flat sides because i have my fingers very far up the mouse, but i also love the feeling of a thinner grip width with mice like the za13 and np01s. really hoping this shape will be my endgame if the sides feel as flat as you say. how is the hump in comparison to say the za13?
sorry for delayed response, not that close to the za13 at all. Lower profile in general and not the same round feeling in your palm. Closer to the viper mini like i mentioned in the vid
From what I have seen and heard I feel like this could be one of the best mid range wireless mice as the shape seems to be a sort of mixture of three of the most popular shapes on the market rn the superlight s2c and viper mini with decent build quality a nice scroll wheel AND USB-C. Ive seen a few people complaining about the weight but honestly the difference between 60 and 70g is very minimal and shouldn't affect you too much in game.
Id 100x rather have rgb on a scroll wheel than anywhere else on a mouse, looks nice without adding too much weight i'd presume, and you can actually see it in use.
I’d rather just not have it at all because I’m not 7 and it does still add weight. But like you said the scroll wheel is the place to have it as you can actually still see that while you’re using it.
Yea I don’t get why people say it’s too slippery and not at grip tape… is it because it adds .01 grams of weight?! Lol seems like a pretty simple solution to me
@@notblazedfordays9536 The thing is, you're spending 90-100 bucks for a mouse with flaws where as there are pther mice out there that don't have those. Hey man, have you ever tried out the Corsair Katar Pro? It's as good as the viper mini, similar in size too and it only costs around $15. The only downside is the usual bloated Corsair iCUE software. If you haven't tried it out, check out some specs and lmk if you'd review it sometime? It's pretty cheap
Are there any good, lightweight mice with well placed extra buttons? (talking 2+ usable buttons in addition to the standard 2 side, 2 top +scroll wheel.)
Not that I’m aware of. I loved having a third thumb button but after going to the gpx and superglides all mice with a 3rd thumb button seem so dang heavy!
sometimes i wonder if boardzy actually can tell the difference between a bad mouse or a good mouse cuz hes an expert in fps games. like he can use all kinds of mouses and perform greatly. just a thought. i dont mean to insult boardzy or anything. i like his vedios.
If anything it makes it easier to tell the difference because I can notice minor issues that make me perform slightly worse. For example with the bolt, the side buttons and click actuation
Good question, I think that they are the two top choices for mid-budget fingertip mice. I really like my Orochi, and have had no problems with the sensor, but the Bolt does have a better sensor on paper (3370 vs 3335). But the Orochi is much cheaper.
Have you even used a MZ1? I bought GPX after finding my MZ1 too narrow and it had cable disconnecting issues. But after using a GPX for less than a month, got my MZ1 paracorded and felt so much more in love with the shape of MZ1.. Not sure why but find GPX too big.
I’ll stick with with my Superlight until a Lightweight G502 releases (lightweight clone)… speaking of that Do you foresee that being released soon? I heard the g502 x plus was leaked and supposed to be in the range of 69g - 75g
After switching from the g502 lightspeed to gpx with superglides I just can’t go back to the g502. I tried using it again with a paraspeed pad yesterday and gave up after 30 min… just Waaay too heavy. I miss my 3rd thumb button (use), dpi up (ping), scroll wheel right (inventory slot 4), and scroll wheel left (auto run.) I can’t wait for the g502 x plus! And on March 30th they are releasing superglides for it! I’m hoping the superglides for the 502 will work with the x plus! G502 wireless at 65-75g plus superglides would be my endgame!
If anything, I'd say that the shape of the viper mini is technically revolutionary since brands are now trying to imitate or do something similar to it, but razer are too fucking stubborn to even make the viper mini ultimate lmao
Yeah, i asked for a RMA because my first bolt had really bad rattle on M1, the second one that I received is even worse lol so I kept the first one.. A bit sad but I still like the mouse.
Since I replaced the feet on my G303 X Shroud with corepadz and put the mouse grips on even the GPX (without puck) on glass skates feels heavy. Maybe not in a weight sense but movement and tracking and snaps feel so luggy. Could down to the hump of the G303 making it feel a smaller and lighter with the lower positioned sensor and extra glide it now has. I just can't shoot with other mice anymore. Shroud really built Logitech a gem
